We had a fantastic stay at B&B Re Umberto! As a family of four, we really appreciated the spacious, clean room and the comfortable beds. Piero and Violeta were exceptional hosts. 🙂 Warm, welcoming, and always quick to respond. Communication was easy and they made us feel completely at home. The location is ideal, just a short walk from the port and great local restaurants. Everything went smoothly, and the breakfast had all we needed to start the day right. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back!

Piero was a very kind host. Because the airline had lost my suitcase we missed our train to Milazzo and he very kindly collected us from the station because there were no more buses or taxis. Beautiful refurbished house, lovely bedroom furnishings, accessories, lighting. The bathroom was clean and new, the shower took 4 minutes to get hot (don't pull the red cord!!) But all very clean. Breakfast was a little disappointing with a very limited selection and we weren't offered a choice we were just given a cheese omelet and there was only white bread, no wholemeal or brown. And by the way we didn't come across freshly squeezed orange juice anywhere in the aolien islands.

Piero’s place is set on the Main Street, easy to get to from the port. Piero was welcoming and attentive to our every need, showed us to our room and provided local recommendations of things to do and places to eat. From the balcony there are views of the castle and we had a delicious breakfast at his BnB! We hope to stay again and recommend highly to anyone looking for accommodation in Milazzo!

Great, friendly host - he messaged the morning of our stay to see what time we would arrive. He was really helpful in providing advice on how to get from the airport. The B&B is in a great location and feels very safe. The rooms are spotless and breakfast was delicious! We would definitely stay here again.

This didnt impact us but there is a large flight of stairs to the rooms - Piero happily helped with one of our cases. The accommodation is great!

This is the second time we have stayed with Piero. 9 years apart and the place is still fantastic. If you are in Milazzo and don’t stay here your are missing out. If we could give it a 20 we would. Classy place, great rooms, great breakfast and the best host with the cutest sidekick Viola. We will be back, hopefully not as big of a time gap. Grazie Mille Piero

We arrived after a very long day of travelling to this beautiful b and b. Piero was terrific with his communication and was in constant contact as we were a bit delayed. The room and bathroom are very modern and stylish and exceptionally clean. The position in Milazzo is perfect for the port, and the nearby streets are stunning. Lots of choices of restaurants. A lovely breakfast the next morning and we felt very lucky to have found this accommodation.

We were caught in a very unseasonal weather event in May, and whilst traveling by train from Palermo (to catch a ferry to Lipari) had our evening ferry cancelled en route, so we had to stay in Milazzo on short notice for the night. We were so delighted to find a room for the night with Piero, who was a delightful and generous host. The location is an easy 10 min walk (w luggage) from the ferry wharf, and we would highly recommend the short walk to get a few streets away from the busy wharf area, and appreciate the views and ambiance of the old town area up towards the fort. Whilst we would not have otherwise stayed in Milazzo, we were so pleased we had the opportunity to do so. We sat on the Juliet balcony of our room overlooking the street and church, and enjoyed a lovely local wine from the wine shop opposite the B&B (recommended by our host) As goes with ferry cancellations, we were touch and go before services resumed the following afternoon, and Piero allowed us to leave our bags whilst we waited (or stay another night if necessary.) This understanding and kindness by our host was most appreciated when we were a bit stressed about the uncertainty of our forward bookings (and holiday) on the Aeolian Islands being cut short, and probably reflects why this property gets such great reviews!

Piero is such a lovely host! My husband and I were only in Milazzo for one day but the location of Umberto was the perfect place for what we needed. Very walkable neighborhood, secure street parking, lots of shopping and restaurants in walking distance - so much to wander through. Our room was spotless and all of the furnishings were so beautiful. Definitely an old-world charm to everything. Piero made us a big breakfast the next day - much more than we expected! Coffee was perfect, too :)

Piero was an awesome host!! Very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, abundant and delicious. Loved the room. Spacious, comfy, great outdoor terrace. Location was perfect as we were able walk to the port to catch our ferry the next day. So convenient and local. Great vibe to the area.

An absolute gem of a B&B. Central location with parking nearby. Fabulous room and bathroom which have been very tastefully decorated. Breakfast was delicious and Piero was so friendly and helpful. Can highly recommend a stay here, wish we'd had longer!!
