My adult siblings and I traveled for leisure and wanted to find a small place outside the hustle and bustle of Palermo. This little Bed and Breakfast was wonderful! We stayed with our Hosts for about 10 days while we explored the island. They kindly adjusted the time of breakfast when we needed. Our bedroom/bathroom was cleaned daily. AC unit in room kept us nice and chilly! Hosts provided laundry service. Breakfast was huge and delicious (included fresh fruit)! Our hosts recommended a cozy local restaurant for dinners. Parking is available both on the street and in a private courtyard. Ask for the rooms with a mountain view, exquisite!

The beds were hard and too short. (For reference: we are used to roughing it in the United States, we go camping for fun and sleep on the ground in tents.) These beds were uncomfortable. We are not tall, the tallest in my party is under 6feet and his feet hung off his twin bed. We chose this location partially because English was advertised as being known/spoken by staff, they were lovely people but barely spoke any English. Using our very limited Italian, pantomiming, and translation apps on our phones, was how we communicated. Not terrible, just unexpected.

Brilliant peaceful and beautiful location near central Monreale with balconies on our rooms to get the wonderful views, even of the sea beyond. Santino helped us by was helpful by taking our son-in-law next day back to Palermo airport to collect our large hire car. He also made us a really good local restaurant booking for one evening. Both he and Elvira were invariably pleasant and helpful. Elvira's breakfasts were exceptional with coffee, fresh bread, yogurts, croissants, local pastries, fruit, fresh fruit juices and water. Highlight were the eggs done in mini omelette form. We enjoyed coming down in the morning for the splendid spread. We last visited Sicily in 1971, but had to return home when my husband's father suddenly died and missed seeing Monreale, the main focus of our trip. So we were delighted to be able to see it at last before we are too old to travel abroad. We were sorry to leave, but then went on to the Parco di Etna for another lovely stay in amazingly green and colourfully flowered Sicily with all its exotic trees and plants.

Communication with a series of Booking.Com Netherlands staff, who could not answer our queries but kept asking the same questions we had already answered and punctuated their replies with inane remarks like "hope you are having a nice day" "hope this finds you well"etc. We did have some language problems with the property, as Santino's and Elvira's daughter, an English language teacher, was on holiday and our eldest grandson at UCL University of London who speaks Italian could not join us until Parco d'Etna, as the Italian authorities in London don't work during August and only released his passport with VISA stamp in time for 2nd part of our travel. He will be studying this coming academic year at the University of Florence.

Lovely room and the property with great safe parking inside the property (especially because we were travelling by motorcycle). The location is great, close to Duomo and direct bus to Palermo. The breakfast was excellent and served when we've asked for. The hosts, Santino and Elvira were wonderfull. They offered a ride to the bus station for Palermo, recommended a great osteria where we ate excellent pasta and the staff was great. Our hosts offered also to drive us to osteria or pick us up altough it's only 5-minute walk from them. If you like warm and welcoming hosts during your whole stay this is definitely a place for you.

The owners were a wonderful couple who provided dining and sightseeing suggestions and guidance everyday. Ample parking was a plus. Walking distance to Monreale Duomo, cafes and restaurants. Ample delicious breakfast. Wonderfully decorated house and rooms with beautiful garden and terraces. Stay here if Monreale is your destination.

All was great

Friendly hosts welcomed us to their lovely home. Room was comfortable though another pillow each would have made it even more comfortable. Bathroom was luxurious and the breakfasts superb. Accessing the village and cathedral requires a walk up a fairly steep hill but the property is easy to access from a main road. The bus service to Palermo was excellent and ran exactly to time.

This breakfast was truly exceptional! The menu was varied, there were several types of pastries to choose from. The ham was high quality and delicious, which added the right touch to the breakfast. The drinks were available in hot and cold versions, which allowed everyone to choose according to their taste. Whether you are a coffee, tea or juice lover. The fruit was also nice. Overall, this breakfast was a great start to the day.

Exceptional hosts who went above and beyond to help us have a great visit. The villa has fabulous antique furniture, lovely grounds and a delicious generous breakfast

We would have appreciated some bottled water and offer of soft drinks during the stay. There was a dog barking both nights. The walk up to the town is exceptionally steep but we managed it.

Elvira and Santino made our stay more than welcome. Breakfast was abundant, good and fresh. Our room was big and had all the necessities needed. Parking was safe and secure in the locked up drive. Location is very near to the Duomo but the road is a bit steep. When we told Santino we were going to Palermo with our car he insisted we take the 35min bus ride and he drove us to the bus stop.....what an amazing host. Thank you Elvira and Santino.

We liked everything! It was a great decision to stay away from Palermo. Location is great to visit the Duomo of Monreale and take a bus to Palermo. It's a bit of a walk-up, though. Big room, cosy interiors. Wonderful breakfast, secure parking in the yard. Special thank you to the wonderful hosts! It was very easy to discuss some questions before arrival. Thank you!

The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Location is good to visit Monreale old town on foot without worrying about parking and driving through narrow hilly roads. It took around 15 min to go to the centre of Monreale, it is a bit of climbing but not too hard. Our car was parked inside the gate of the B&B, very safe. Breakfast was very good: there were a lot of choices and it was delicious.
