We liked everything about the property and particularly the B&B hosts. They went "out of their way" to make our stay great. Unbeknownst to us, we were staying on 2 of the largest Monreale festival days of the year. The town was packed with people. They "reserved" in advance a free place to park our car, and after we parked, drove us and our baggage to Casa Lilla; centrally located on a narrow street just a few minutes walk from the center of town and the Monreale Cathedral. We had two rooms with balconies overlooking the street where the huge procession of the festival marched on our second night. An outside deck on the roof was a great place to relax in the late afternoon. The hosts provided excellent recommendations for places to eat in Monreale, and even arranged transportation for us to travel into Palermo to check it out for the day.

The property was excellent and we liked everything about our stay.

Absolutely clean like home. The housewife prepared a rich breakfast. She also brought fresh fruit, ham, cheese and bread. Offered kv, cocoa, milk, juice, cereal, toast, butter, yogurt, etc. All this is not common elsewhere !! Thank You!

In cold weather, it would be good to turn on the heating in advance ... if the time of arrival has already been set ... :) This could possibly be automatic. I did not ask specifically when contacting before arrival ....

The upper deck was lovely: breakfast was served there. It was so very pleasant, close to the gorgeous cathedral of Monreale. The dinner suggestion to Osteria Peper was a very good one! Thank you.

The nighttime traffic noise: motorcycles, autos, car radios passing by.

the last night we stay, there were no water supplied, it is an awful experience for us.

location outstanding and reasonably priced

apart from a rudimentary welcome when we arrived, we saw nobody from the BnB the whole time. had to pay in cash at the start as his machine did not work. kitchen lacked many things such as running water, rubbish bins

Room was comfortable. Good bed. Breakfast was okay.

Water was not reliable. Toilet didn’t flush very well. Two flushes to get cleaned out. Shower was very small and water was either scalding hot or freezing cold. Came back one evening and had no water at all. Breakfast was mediocre at best.
