Property is immaculate and incredibly well thought out to anticipate your every need. Pool is lovely with plenty of loungers and seats in shade. Lots of fridges to keep cool drinks in and kitchens and outside barbecue with all you need including wood, condiments, pans, crockery and cutlery to prepare food. Owners are very hospitable and were especially helpful regarding booking local taxis. I think it would be useful to have a car especially if you want to explore the surrounding area or eat out. Buses are incredibly cheap but need a bit of planning and can be a bit hit and miss as to whether they turn up when you are expecting them to . A Taxi into Palmero costs between €20-30 each way depending on whether you are able to use local firms or Uber. I would definitely recommend using the ones recommended by the property and if you have to use Uber go for the black ones where price quoted is stuck to and not itaxis who doubled the price quoted on our initial trip. There is a takeaway pizzeria and small supermarket with nice deli counter about 10 mins walk away. We had a lovely relaxing stay and will miss swimming in the beautiful pool. I would definitely stay here again.

We were hoping for weekend getaway and spending some time alone without kids. And it exceeded our expectations. We were welcomed by friendly host Letizia, who was very helpful during our stay. Breakfast was 8-10 AM, acceptable. Our room looked like the photos, nice. Bonus was clotheshorse, plenty of fridges where you can store your food and drink and two outdoor kitchen. There was good accessibility to Palermo. We used the bus (15 mins) and once we missed the last bus and walked during the night (1 hour). But Palermo is quite safe. We had free taxi from airport thanks to Booking.com.

Really bad WiFi. We didn't use it at all. Breakfast the same every day - no salami or cheese.

We had the most fantastic experience at B&B Sole e Luna, the best place we have stayed in Europe, without exception! The location in the mountains overlooking Palermo is nothing short of spectacular. The property is wonderful with lovely facilities such as an outdoor kitchen, grill, terraces, and a delightful pool. The family that owns the place are the most welcoming and kind people we have met on our travels in Italy. They did everything to make our stay perfect, helped with directions and transport to Palermo, always with a smile. We have already decided that we will return to visit them again as soon as the opportunity arises. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay! The beds were lovely, and they served a fine Italian breakfast.

Such a lovely B&B with lots of facilities including an outside kitchen and dining area if you wanted to use it. Sole e Luna has lots of character with amazing views over Palermo. The breakfast was very good and using the pool after a hot day of sightseeing was a real bonus. The owners were very helpful and Letiza whose English was very good recommended local places to visit and restaurants.

The B&B was one of the best destinations we have ever been to! It exceeded our expectations, especially the host family with their kindness and support. The B&B is very clean, the View is amazing. There are lovely Details wherever you look at. The location is a bit far from Palermo without a car. The host family drove us to the City for a very good price.

B&B e Luna. What a fantastic place with the most beautiful view and the loveliest surroundings. The pool was amazing. The rooms were clean and completely unique. Wonderful breakfast. The sweetest and most delightful hosts. A truly fantastic place close to Palermo. A lovely small community with friendly and helpful locals. We will return to visit this beautiful place. The owner family was lovely, son speaks fluent english, mum only italian but very lovely person 🥰. There was a place for a car, and you definately need a car there, very deep downhil to the parking spot, but you can manage. The environment overall was fantastic, with superb view. Nearest minimarket and bakery about 10 minutes walk, but remember to note opening hours because of siesta! Pool area was very tidy and comfortable with extra summer kitchen and fridge where you could keep your pool drinks.

The description of the rooms were a little inadequate in the booking.com pages, three adults sleeping in the same room, one in the bunkbed.

This wonderful B&B is an absolute gem!!! If I could give it 10 stars I would. We had THE MOST AMAZING STAY here for 5 nights in Palermo so much so that if we come back to Palermo next year in 2023 it's a definite stay. We found this B&B because I wanted secure & preferably free parking for our car & a swimming pool; we were certainly not disappointed. What you see first is the AMAZING view over the city & Port of Palermo; it's just mind blowing both during the day & night. We were greeted by Michelangelo (who speaks English very well) & his beautiful mother. After speaking with her for 2 minutes I felt that in another life we would have been great friends.....quite surreal really. Our room with bathroom was lovely opening out onto a cool covered terrace with outdoor table & chairs, clothes drying rack, lounge chairs & fridge. This terrace overlooked the garden below with fountain, seating, BBQ, gas hotplates, cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery, etc & then further down on the next level the beautiful pool area with another fully equipped kitchen. By this stage of our 3 month holiday it was nice to be able to cook our nightly dinner for ourselves buying fresh produce from the various markets nearby. Take away & food delivery services were also available to the B&B from the local food establishments if you wanted to stay in as well as restaurants nearby. Breakfast was great with a good variety to choose from & the freshest croissants ever! WiFi was free & great coverage. We had a TV in our room but hardly watched it as we preferred to sit outside until late watching the comings & goings of the port, the cruise ships & the weather passing by out at sea; we witnessed some amazing lightning & cloud displays. On our last day we decided to have a rest day spending a perfect time by the pool.

For us it was PERFECT but we had a car for exploring Palermo & it's outer regions. There is public transport if you don't have a car or you can call a taxi.

We had a lovely stay. The property is huge, and nicely located! Beautiful swimming pool, with a perfect look over Palermo. Nice terras. Nice accommodation. Perfect help by the host.
