Lovely character property in an idyllic rural setting. Room was a good size perhaps bigger if there wasn’t the sofa which we did not need but for 2 nights it was perfect bathroom was small but had a good hot shower. Continental breakfast was good yogurt cereal fruit pastries meat cheese eggs coffee selection also good. Upstairs a covered terrace with chairs loungers tables etc it was a bit neglected but expected as out of season we used it regularly as we had small dog and we smoke so was good for our use. Private secure parking we used the bar and had wine which was lovely.

We booked last minute due to a long Italy drive and the hotel having an in house restaurant but we weren’t informed prior to committing our booking that the restaurant was closed the evening we arrived until we requested a reservation of which then we were told it would be open the second evening but it wasn’t. Again out of season so maybe expected but as we had driven so much we just wanted to relax and not have to drive to eat in the evening and be able to have wine with our meals. This should have been noted on booking.com prior to our commitment to book. We did find 2 lovely restaurants near by though that we thoroughly enjoyed. Would we stay again? possibly as the restaurant looked divine with arched ceilings and our overall stay was lovely.

Jana was extremely helpful in finding a friend to transport myself and my bicycle about 19 miles to the hotel because of very bad and personally dangerous weather. She also figured out how to get me to my next destination by public transportation again because of bad weather. The restaurant was very good as well as breakfast. They had a secure place for my bicycle during the night. The room wax fine. I got a good night’s sleep.

The location of the outlet was inconvenient for charging my phone. It was a ways from the bed so I had to get up to see what time it was. Would be nice if there was an outlet near the bed.

Very nice new facilities in an historic building. The room is modern and the provided breakfast is the best I've had in Italy. I am walking the Francigena, so to get there you have to go off a bit over some busy roads to get there. Not the safest. But once there, it's top notch. I also enjoyed the bar. (I didn't have dinner)

The location is hard to walk to from the Francigena. You have to traverse busy roads. Once there, very nice.

Beautiful old building in the heart of Tuscany, a pleasant room, very nice breakfast. A very large parking lot opposite the hotel. Please note that it is somewhat remote for other restaurants or bars. The terrace has a beautiful view.

It is stated on booking that the restaurant is open during your stay, but it turned out that the restaurant closes on SUNDAY, the day that most Italians go out to eat with the family.

A lovely hotel in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. It has a great restaurant and nice terrace with stunning views.

The shower room was fairly basic but good enough for our needs. The breakfast choices were limited to a cold selection/continental breakfast.

The location was lovely an quiet and the room was a reasonable size but somewhat dated. The shower however was really great.

Loved the location , the old style traditional decor . The bed was very comfortable and excellent shower. The staff are exceptional, the two lovely ladies at reception could not do enough to assist us in any way . The fantastic hat man in the hat and restaurant is amazing and made us feel extra special while we dined and had a drink up in the terrace. Stunning views from the terrace , such a treat .

No ironing facilities in bedroom is my only negative. This was essential to us as I needed to iron our clothes for a wedding we were attending. No option to rent one from the hotel either.

Very friendly staff and pleasant clean room within a beautiful building. We had a fabulous evening meal. Great breakfast but even better if there had been hot food options too.

The room was comfortable and the evening and day receptionists were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

The hotel restaurant is closed on Wednesdays. As we were hiking the Via Francigena it wasn’t fun walking 20 minutes to the supermarket to get food.

The little fridge in our room was super noisy & right next to the bed. Room could do with a bit of renovating
