The Hotel was really new and clean. It was all newly decorated. It was comfortable and easy to get to. Storage for bikes was just across the street from the hotel, this was good. The young gentleman who checked us in was really lovely and helpful (also spoke great English!)

Check-in and breakfast are at a different hotel. The lady who I called the previous week had no time for me on the phone, I guess she was busy. When I asked where to store my luggage in the morning, she didn't bother getting up from her chair as she was on her phone. A bit abrupt I dare say (same lady from the phone) Shame as the hotel itself and the gentleman who checked us in was really nice. Also a bug net in the room would have been nice.

The property itself was very good. The only drawback was the service was not as good as it easily could have been. Here are 3 examples.Check in was at the hotel reception which was a short walk (3-4mins) from my accommodation. Reception failed to point out the wifi password. If he had I would have taken a photo. There was no wifi information in the room so this necessitated a walk back to the hotel. Secondly Reception indicated there was a phone in the room that I could use to call reception if I needed to. Unfortunately there is nothing on the phone to advise what button should be used to call reception. I tried every button and there was no answer. Thirdly I asked how to turn the heat on the drying racks. Reception advised it came on automatically at either 6:30 or 7:30. I was later advised that information was incorrect. So I left in the morning with wet socks. I should also note that my next night’s accommodation had fully functioning drying racks. I don’t understand the point of having drying racks if you can’t turn on the heat.

The setting, views and garden were wonderful. Enrico recommended and reserved dinner for us at a local restaurant where we had a great meal. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious

My only complaint was the size of the room we stayed in. I explained to Enrico that while the room was very clean, it was too small for two people especially with 2 suitcases. Had we seen Enrico at check-in, we would have asked to be put in a different room and solved our problem. Outside of that, our stay was very good

I like the design and the bed so so comfortable. Also, the receptionist Ellen even packed a breakfast for me since i will be leaving early in the morning. I appreciated the little fridge and the hot shower as well. It is pretty close to the bus stop and train station.

I had a trouble checking in since I was directed to other hotel to check in before I can enter the hotel have to walk back and forth .

Location was excellent for walking the Via Francigena. It's a bit of a walk past the property to check in. The large room has a view of the old town street below and the church bells chime frequently so hold off on napping!! Shower was great and everything was clean. Bed was a little firm but I slept well. The restaurant beside the room was fantastic and service was great for both dinner and breakfast. A great stop on the journey.

No complaints at all.

We were walking the via Francigena and came across a bridge right before the town, that we could not cross. One of the staff came to collect us - she was charming. We ate in the restaurant attached to the Albergo and it was an amazing meal. Would highly recommend the Alberge and the restaurant

Old building but inside the rooms, was very nice and comfortable. Air con was good, facilities good and nicely located in the old town

Didn’t realize breakfast and check in was in a different hotel before arrival and the info provided. But otherwise all good. Short walk was ok to the other hotel

Clean and near shops and restaurants

Having to phone to find out how to get in, being told they were too busy at that moment to speak to us, phoning back then a walk of 400 m to get the key. Not what you need after a long day walking.

The location but check-in is at another place. Room was comfortable 😌 great breakfast

Sadly my fridge was broken. No cold supply for the next day. Report it only at breakfast time, so the next guest will not have this issue

Right on the Main Street of the small town.

Check in is at a sister hotel down the street. Not difficult, just a bit confusing for a minute. Breakfast at the sister property as well. Can’t recall her name, but the woman checking us in was friendly and very helpful !
