Absolutely wonderful location! The view from the room window is simply breathtaking — it made my stay even more special. The breakfast staff were absolutely lovely — so friendly and attentive, they really made the mornings feel extra special!

One small downside was that the staff didn’t mention the importance of booking a dinner table in advance — both at the hotel and in the town. It’s a charming little place with only about four restaurants, and unfortunately, it was quite difficult to find a spot in the evening. I only managed to get a table for one at the last restaurant I tried

We had a wonderful stay at Albergo Giardino! The atmosphere was peaceful, and everything was beautifully taken care of. The breakfast was excellent, fresh, delicious, and full of variety, the perfect way to start the day. A special thank you to Nida, the manager, incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and always ready to help with anything we needed. She truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. She is a real added value to the place. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended.

Location in Montalcino was great everything was walking distance and there was paid parking nearby. We arrived late and Nida was very attentive. Rooms were good size with ensuite bathrooms.We went mid september so temperatures were mild…Rooms were clean A/C was adequate but I don’t know if they will cool enough in hotter weather. Breakfast was very good. Great property! Would definitely stay again and recommend.

There are very few hotels and only limited B&B accommodation inside the town of Montalcino, so finding the Albergo Giardino was a bonus. It's brilliantly located at the bottom of the main street, about 250 metres from the central square. The rooms are a very good size. We chose one at the back of the hotel to avoid the street noise noted by a previous reviewer, and it proved delightfully quiet. We were in Montalcino in the midst of a heatwave, with day temperatures up to 38C. As a result the portable AC unit in the room was working overtime and struggling, which was hardly surprising. Nevertheless it managed to hold the temperature at a level that permitted sound sleep. Breakfast under the trees in the piazza outside was delightful. The receptionist/manageress is very helpful and cheerful.

Not a complaint, but guests should note that there is no lift, so you need to be fit and strong enough to heft your cases upstairs. There are no disabled facilities or access arrangements.

Albergo Giardino was one of our best stays in Tuscany. All that was possible to a wonderful host - Nida, who was there to make our stay best it could ever be. The place is located next to a charming town square and close to sights and viewpoints. It is beautifully decorated. Breakfast was a true delight.

Parking is a few minutes walking distance away from the hostel (walking back to your car you walk upwards). Our room, although very lovely, was quite small (2 people + 2 suitcases).

Nida (sp) was very attentive and saw to all our needs. The location is perfect to walk into town or take a short drive.

Air conditioner didn't cool very well.

Beautiful location with the true essence of Tuscany. The town wasn’t overcrowded but still had a lot of attractions that tourists appreciate. The accommodation was nice and tidy and the manager was super friendly. Good breakfast too.

Big room with a view over the garden across the road where the associated restaurant has tables. Comfortable bed.

I had not noticed when I booked that the hotel is at the bottom of town with quite a steep walk up to most attractions.

Awesome location and the folks managing the B&B are so very helpful! I arrived and there was a huge festival going on so there were people everywhere and there was no close parking. Later in the day/early evening I was provided a ride to the location that I'd parked my rental. Soooooo thankful because it was not close! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. My room and bathroom were spotless, lovely towels were provided and the bed was super comfortable. 🥰 It's very important to get a good night's sleep, and especially when you're on the road. It amazing me how many places don't have comfy beds but you do not have to worry here!! There was also a wonderful breakfast. ❤️ By the way, there's a mini fridge in the room ..... LOVE thhis!!

The location was very central. We were in the middle of everything. Montalcino is a beautiful city. The room was clean, not luxurious but nice and tidy. The staff was very responsive.
