We had an amazing time at this hotel! The room itself was very modern, and clean. The air conditioning worked great and I loved how they kept originally elements of the building during their renovations (the room had wooden beams which were beautiful). It was calm and quiet in the rooms. The owners are so kind, and we’re very helpful in coordinating a shuttle for us to a dinner and the train station. The breakfast was a good mix of fruit, protein, yoghurt and pastries - extra bonus with fresh cappuccinos and espresso :). The area is amazing as well, with tons of restaurants and shops nearby in the beautiful montepulciano. I had friends stay in another room that had a really beautiful view, and they also really enjoyed their stay.

Breakfast was lovely and a good variety. You could have pastries, boiled eggs, cheeses and meats plus yoghurt and fruit. Coffee was made to order in a machine. It was buffet style. The rooms were nice, large bathrooms and everything was very clean. It was really quiet and the hotel had fantastic views over the surrounding areas. They even let us check in early. If you're driving, you can drive into the restricted zone, park outside and then you can move your car to one of the car parks. They sign your number plate off on the system so you don't get a ticket.

More variety at the breakfast from day to day, so that you don't eat the same thing both days. You couldn't turn the aircon on before 1st June (we stayed 29th and 30th May) so it was quite hot in the rooms.

A brilliant family run hotel in the centre of Montepulciano. The location is fantastic with great views, high up on the hill so easily walkable, very secure, extremely tastefully decorated, eco friendly thoughtfulness and a really personable touch from the hosts. I would recommend the place to anyone and absolutely stay there again should I return to Montepulciano. The younger brother in particular was a sweetheart. He spoke good English and really went out of his way to look after us e.g. offered to phone restaurants to help with reservations and arranged taxi services. The beds were also incredibly comfortable!

It is a little on the pricey side but absolutely worth it

Right in the middle of town, very helpful and friendly staff and comfortable, clean accommodation. This is an old building that’s been renovated into small but well appointed basic rooms, good aircon, comfortable beds with good linen, nice bathroom. Parking is straight forward nearby. Comfortable enough and location is fabulous.

Walls are thin and can hear what’s going on in the next room! But benefits outweighed this.

Fantastic room with gorgeous views. Great location in the heart of Montepulciano. Lovely breakfast. Friendly staff, simply can’t fault it.

Montepulciano can be a tricky town to drive through: the narrow one-way streets are intense to drive through to drop off luggage. That said, when we called the hotel reception, they were helpful giving us clear instructions how to drop off luggage and then park the car.

The staff especially Alessio could not have been more helpful. This is small place so not much on-site staff time but they are highly responsive. Location was great, old building completely modernized. Room was very comfortable and quiet

Just have to realize that this is a historic building so no elevator and kind of steep going up stairs. Breakfast limited but not bad in anyway.

Nice old house in the historic center, lovely restored and in the original style decorated. Room size was limited but fully equipped and very clean and tidy.

Breakfast very basic and by aware that parking in front is not possible, you can reach the hotel to unload luggage. There are some locations to park in the neighborhood but, even now not high season, they were very full.

A lovely 6 bedroom Palazzo in the heart of Montepulciano's Centro Storico. Family run hotel, very nice and friendly staff. Room was lovely, with a window overlooking the historic district and steps from the main square and Cantucci winery. Would definitely recommend. It was super hot during our stay in Montepulciano and the hotel's air conditioning worked perfectly.

Big room nice bathroom super shower decent breakfast. Parking a problem difficult to fine a space any where near hotel. Instructions from staff not clear other people we met from adjacent hotels said a member of staff went with them to help them find a space . This hotel is in an area where all spaces are reserved for residents.

Location location. This place is right in the middle of the historical village wall. We could walk wherever we needed AND the staff were so friendly and helpful! Can't think of a better place to stay. The accommodations were like a 5 star hotel. Everything was completely remodeled recently and the bed was so comfortable!! Over and beyond my expectations!
