Beautiful large rooms, recently refurbished with very comfy beds - everything very clean - great bathroom with large shower

As this is a 4 star hotel The breakfast could be improved (more food selection, improved choice and possibility to have some items displayed as buffet) - also more flexibility with time (currently only 8-10). Also there is no private parking and finding a public parking slot near the hotel is almost impossible (best option is around 10 min walk away so nothing major but should be stated in the description under parking)

The location was excellent handy to all amenities e bike hire the lake and free parking

Comfortable hotel.

The breakfast is very basic. The time for breakfast must be fixed in advance. Translate text with your camera breakfast service is too slow. you wait 10 minutes for a coffee.

Only stayed 1 night and this place was a delightful find. Owner ensured we were well looked after. Room was very large and clean. Would recommend .

Access to the roof terrace with view. Not accessible during our stay

We enjoyed our stay in the room with the roof top hot tub. Family/staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and lovely. The room is very small but had everything we needed. After so many stairs throughout Italy, we appreciated the elevator (unusual for a small property). Be sure to check out the fortress at the end of the town.

Parking was tricky, here’s the info we wish we would have been given (hopefully it can help others): As you approach the walled town, continue around the wall to the left instead of going through the gates. As you wind around the wall, you’ll find a stretch of parking along the wall on your right. Park there and use the EasyPark app to pay (you enter the lot number that’s on the machine into the app). Walk into town (up a small hill) and you’ll be very near the hotel. Parking is charged 8a to 8p, and the app makes it easy to pay for only what you need. You can stay parked free overnight and add time from the hotel via the app each morning. Although this is the closest parking area, any parking along the outside of the town wall will be a short walk to the hotel.

Nice, renovated hotel in the city centre. Comfortable room. Good breakfast ordered in advance. Friendly staff.

Unfortunately the hotel does not have a lake view. The access to the roof terrace and whirlpool is not available to all guests.

Shower floor. Like a skating rink when wet and potentially dangerous. Needs fixing permanently and not just a towel on the floor.

Only thing was a little disappointed I couldn’t access the roof terrace. Next time I would try to book room with jacuzzi and roof terrace included.
