We had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. The location is excellent, right in the heart of town, with a truly special and charming atmosphere. What made our experience especially memorable were the hosts — incredibly kind, warm, and attentive. Every guest is treated with personal care and genuine hospitality. Breakfast was served on a beautiful terrace and was both rich and varied. It was lovingly prepared and served by the hosts themselves, with thoughtful attention to every detail. A special thank you to Roberto, who went above and beyond to help us with the parking situation. We had missed the instructions he had sent us in advance and ended up parking far outside the permitted area. He personally drove us to the correct parking spot and walked us back to the hotel’s private parking. **This is an important note for future guests:** the hotel is located in a restricted traffic zone (ZTL), and entering it without proper authorization can result in a significant fine. Thankfully, the hosts manage this very well and will guide you if you follow their instructions carefully. We highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely love to return!

This is a special place ! The building is almost 900 years old so do not expect lifts or very modern, comfy furnishing, etc. But I guess this is part of the experience, after all, you are in Montepulciano. Those small inconveniences are fully compensated by Roberto. During our 3 weeks trip we did not meet anyone more Italian than Roberto. He will treat you like an old friend, joke with you, etc. Roberto was also very helpful. We initially had problems with locating his parking but Roberto personally drove us there and helped us with our luggage. Later on we found out the parking was just 60m away from his hotel :) We had a wonderful time in La Terrazza Di Montepulciano.

Roberto and Vittoria were the most welcoming, friendly, and amazing hotel hosts I've ever had. It felt like staying with family - especially as a solo female traveller, I appreciated how they took the time to make sure I had a good experience. The hotel itself is fantastic. The location could not get any better (walking distance from basically everything you need) and the beautiful terrace outside was great to relax and do some extra work if needed. The wifi was fast and the breakfast was yummy (Vittoria even makes some of the breakfast herself!). I could not recommend this hotel enough.

Everythinggg was good in La Terraza. The hotel is very cozy and beautiful with a very classic tuscan style. The breakfast option that is included was delicious and very varied. The host Roberto and Victoria are very nice and friendly. Roberto helped us literally with everything. Since finding the right parking spot, until driving us in his own car the next day to pick our car so we did not have to carry the bags around. The room was perfect very classic and clean. We loved everything about this place. I want to thank Roberto to make our stay a very nice experience!!! Also the location is perfect. Very close to the main plaza and restaurants. Very recommended!!

Roberto was a highlight of our trip. So warm and welcoming from the moment he directed us to free parking and then came and picked us up in his car so we didn’t have to walk with our luggage. He even drove us back to the parking and on his birthday no less!!! Thanks Roberto so much for your warm hospitality and Happy Birthday!!!

Bathrooms were a bit outdated as were the rooms. Was a bit warm with no air conditioning. A pedestal fan might be a good suggestion. Don’t know if we could have done it in mid summer.

Beautiful loaction in the heart of the city you can walk eveywhere. Our 3 person room was spacious, very clean and with charming old fashioned furniture. Roberto is an exhuberant personality who regaled us with stories at breakfast. Free parking at a nearby garage.

The ceiling fan in our room was pretty loud, so we had to sleep with the window and shutters open because there was no airconditioning. Everything is a steep climb, because of the hilltop location of historical Montepulciano.

We absolutely loved our stay at la Terrazza Di montepulciano. Roberto and his wife were amazing hosts. We felt like family! Roberto arrived at the parking garage within minutes of us arriving (we don’t even know how he knew we arrived!) and drove us/our luggage in his car to the property. He told us all about montepulciano and his hotel. Once we arrived- he showed us all around his property and hotel. It was beautiful. Breakfast was also wonderful! Our room was beautiful and large. The bed was a little squeaky/not as comfortable- but I still recommend this property!

The host, Roberto and his lovely wife, Vittoria, were amazing! Roberto was such a character, always happy and chatty, very helpful and hospitable. The accommodation was in the perfect location in the centre of everything, with lots to see, shops, restaurants and bars, not forgetting the main thing, excellent wine! Our room was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Parking was very close.

The hosts are very nice people, very kind, smiley and supporting! They are ready to help you and answer your questions, to give you some tips and recommendations. The breakfast was very good and there was a variety of items. The house is beautiful, clean, and cosy. We were very much impressed that there was a vending machine inside the house and thus you are 24/24 provided with water and other items at very nice prices! The location is also very good! There is a parking lot nearby where we parked the car at the expense of the hosts with the preliminary instruction by them how to proceed to not pay. The hosts did not want us to preliminary pay as opposed to many other places - they explicitly said that we are to pay before leaving... We liked very much the town itself, too! We had dinner at Osteria del Borgo and everything was so delicious! I heartily recommend it as well as La Terrazza Di Montepulciano place - you will not regret! :)

The property was very well located, mid way between the upper and lower town. The room has a traditional decor which makes it very charming. Our host , Roberto, goes beyond what is expected from a host. He helped us with our luggage from and to our parking space. His good humour and jovial posture is definitely a plus. Breakfast was great, especially the pastries which were baked by Roberto’s wife.

Since we stayed there during a heatwave , air conditioning would have been welcomed. However the bedroom has a ceiling fan which helped alleviate the heat.
