Very convenient location right in the center of Montalcino. What goes along with that, though, is complicated parking if you have a car. Once we found the big parking lot, it was a lot less stressful for leaving the car. It did require a bit of a walk to get into the town from there, but we anticipated that just knowing Montalcino. It was a little tricky to find the B&B with the car for initial unloading and there are stairs (again, we expected that though) in all directions including the entry to the B&B. Overall, a wonderful stay in a very convenient location.

The room was furnished with great attention to detail. The location is very central and the view over Tuscany is stunning. We really enjoyed the breakfast, the quality of the food was very high. You can get a parking card for the public car park from your accommodation. (4 euros for 24 hours)

Shortly before my arrival, I received instructions on how to check in and was asked to provide my personal information. The information was very extensive and confusing for me. The instructions for parking were also not clear to me at first. (The accommodation is in the centre, i.e. in the ZTL area) I should have printed out a document to drive to the accommodation. Logically, this was no longer possible for me as we were already on the road. But when you arrive in Montalciono, everything is less complicated than it seems at first.

Right in the centre of Montalcino, you couldn't get a better location. It's self check-in and was super easy to do as we received clear step-by-step instructions to find the b&b and access the room. Nothing was too much trouble for the host, she helped us sort a reduced cost parking permit, and provided us with an iron Breakfast was excellent (hams/cheeses, cereals & plenty of pastries) with lovely coffee Grazie!

Nestled in the heart of the town, it offered romantic vibes and breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside right from our room - truly the perfect wake-up call. The breakfast was a delightful journey through local flavors, featuring meats, cheese, pastries, and cereals. Be prepared for the town's charming yet steep climbs and many steps - they're all part of the authentic experience. Highly recommend for a quintessential Tuscan getaway!

the location is wonderful and the rooms are really nice and cozy and the beds are extremely comfortable. I'm sorry we were unable to stay longer. the breakfast was great and the staff extremely helpful and you can get a nice discount for parking as well

keep in mind that access by car close to the location is not possible and there's no elevator if you have heavy luggage

Location was absolutely superb (once you find it) - right at the top of Montalcino with only steps away to all the restaurants and shops. The rooms are small (we had a back room with no view) but very well appointed including shower soaps/candles etc. We notice provided earplugs, why we wondered? At @3am a church bell rang and then a few more at random times during the early morning. This is all part of the beauty of old Italian villages and if we had stayed a second night we would definitely have used them. The communal breakfast area is a lovely cool room with exceptional views and the breakfast is good. There was a much needed air-conditioner that worked well in the room. Parking is not easy but you are provided a 30 minute free park space to unload your bags. And we paid the very reasonable price for 24 hrs parking in the castle car park (only a few minutes walk) Euro 4.

My husband has a bad hip! There are many steps in Montalcino and this hotel is situated on a steep stairway, and then more stairs up to the rooms. If you are unable to walk easily this may not be the place for you.

Everything was perfect! It is set back (but so close) to one of the main streets and is easily accessible but beautifully quiet. Just a couple of minutes from the car park it is a great location. The staff are all SO lovely and welcoming. Breakfast was a lovely range of local pastries and meats and a fantastic coffee.

It has great character, with a lovely view, and was comfortable and clean, with a helpful lady, who came in the morning. The remote check-in worked fine. It is right in the heart of the town and the parking is all right by hill town standards.

My wife doesn't like air purifiers and one was rather strong. Obviously, in a town centre there is always the odd idiot making a noise at night, but the place was generally quiet. The place would be awkward for anyone disabled.

Easy self check-in. Very charming room in the very heart of Montalcino, with a fabulous view. Very good breakfast. Exceptional host, she shared many useful tips and provided recommendations, and gave us the possibility to leave our luggage for the checkout day.

Darling hotel with comfortable beds in a great location. The views were stunning from our rooms! And the breakfast was superb! Delicious freshly baked pastries, yogurt and fresh fruit, juat a marvelous spread serves by a cheerful and friendly hostess
