The room had a bedroom area, a lounge area, and a bathroom. Great sized bathroom for european hotel. Bed was comfy, and room had a mechanical skylight. A/C worked extremely well for the time we were there (during a heat wave). The location was perfect, and a fairly easy walk from the parking area (though everything in Montepulciano is up and down). The owner was great, providing ideas on where to go and how to get around. Breakfast was down the block at a very popular cafe, and consisted of a croissant and coffee. All in all, a great place to stay.

I like that it was located in the heart of the city and from there you had access to one of the best coffee bars called Caffe Poliziano, restaurants, super market call Conrad, boutiques etc.. City is very clean and safe, it is also center to a lot of nearby villages for day trips. It has some of the best wines in Italy and numerous good restaurants but reserve whenever possible first. Since the town is located on the top of a mountain it makes it ideal to take scenic pictures of the Tuscan countryside.

No free tourist parking and the paid parking (No.6) was not far but it was 10-15 minute uphill climb with suitcases. To walk the streets of Montepulciano you must be in good shape. Since our rooms were located on one of the busy streets, I would recommend having ear plugs available.

We rented 3 rooms for the eastern holyday. Location was great and the host was really nice. We had a very good communication, with all the information need it to arrive at the location. Every room is like a small appartment, very spacious and comfortable. We had breakfast (coffee, a croissant and a juice) in a nearby nice coffee shop. We recommend for a vacation.

One of the rooms had a really small bathroom, but it was not a problem. Also the shower gel and the shampoo were not enough for two persons.

Perfect location right in the middle of Montepulciano, Caffe Poliziano just a few steps away. Federico is very supportive and gives you all required information. He also helped us to book a table at a restaurant at the evening. The flat is really spacious (the bathroom is a bit small though) and comfortable.

Nothing to complain about the flat as such, but just a hint that with our two-year old son it was a bit challenging. Too many things (wine glasses, bottle, coffee machine) that can be reached by the kid and white couches :D But the space was good for him to play and he liked the baby bed a lot.

The place is just as shown in the pictures, very well renovated and extremely clean. The host showed us in, gave us a general explanation of the place and its surroundings, places to go and restaurants to dine at, even the city map. The stay was super organised, and the host was readily available in the few times we needed any directions. The Palazzetto is a lovely place, with all of the proper and necessary amenities for a short term stay

The only complaint we could possibly have are the pillows, as they could be newer, all else was very good.

The location was ideal in middle of Montepulciano close to dining, shopping and sight seeing. The town is very hilly which offers excellent long vistas of the surrounding countryside. The house was updated in 16th century building remodeled with exposed timber and modern amenities. Very comfortable. The host was very helpful and accomodating.

This is just a comment not a dislike, but the steps are very steep so those with limited mobility may have problems.

The apartment was cozy, well thought, clean, and huge. There was a fridge, hot kettle, and nespresso. The bedroom is very spacious, the bed was very comfortable. I love it when-the apartment was pleasantly warm when presented to me. Federico showed me how to operate the ceiling windows and heater. He also let me checked in early because of the bus schedule. I appreciated it ver much.

I read it used to have Cafe Poliziano where you can have a discounted breakfast if you’re staying at IlPalazetto?

Beautiful, eloquently furnished rooms, bedroom, lounge and bathroom very modern but stylish & spacious. Location was perfect right on the main street but discrete & secure and actually very quiet. Simple breakfast provided across the street at the famous Cafe Poliziano - a real treat and beautiful views over the tuscan valley from the balcony. The host Federico is friendly and very helpful. There are amazing restaurants and wine bars just a few minutes walk from the apartment. Parking in carpark 6 and the local underground section close by is convenient but bags need to be trundled up a vey steep slope in the alley way joining the main street. Finding carpark 6 is tricky and better directions are required. Would help if Waze or google maps recognised that there are in fact 8 car parks not just 5.

The flat is large and well appointed with modern comfort in a cool ancient building. Federico is readily available and extremely helpful and resourceful, a good guy. Great location close to everything. We would come back here anytime.

We had no complaints. My only caveat is that there are steps if that is an issue for someone.

- Great location, in the heart of the town and relatively close to the parking. - Spacious room. - Fantastic support from the owner, who was always available when needed. - Fridge in the room and cold water in it :-)

- Might be loud in the late evenings and early mornings as the windows face one of the main streets and are not very sound proof (but that's the reality in most places located in the heart of the town).
