This was our second time staying here, and once again it was absolutely wonderful. The host, Luca, is incredibly kind and welcoming, he truly goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. The location offers a stunning view over the beautiful wine region of Le Langhe, which makes the experience even more special. Breakfast is a real highlight, with a great variety of delicious local products. On top of that, Luca treated us to a fantastic dinner featuring multiple courses of typical Piedmontese cuisine, such a generous and authentic experience! This place is perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway, and it's ideally located near Alba and charming towns like La Morra, Barolo, and Neive. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely come back again.

Wonderful B&B type accommodation with an amazing hilltop view. The owner is amazing and makes sure the guests enjoy their visit. We had a great apertivo on arrival with local wines, meats and cheeses. Breakfast is great as well. He also sells wine at a great price. We stayed here 3 years ago and have been waiting for an opportunity to come back for a longer stay. Plus they are dog friendly and have parking, perfect for a stop to Barolo wine country.

The room was so incredibly charming, with a view I had not expected and a private terrace. Luca is one of, if not the kindest and most hospitable host we have ever encountered. He gave us the warmest welcome and went out of his way to make our stay feel special and celebratory. The room has everything you need, the bed was so comfortable and the evening was quiet. A beautiful breakfast was laid out for us in the morning, with every attention to detail - Luca treated us like friends. We were sad to leave this very special b&b.

I was little suspicious because having all these great reviews seemed impossible. But, seriously, everything appeared to be true. I can’t figure any better accommodation experience. Perfect place, very clean and beautiful rooms, amazing views right from the room and balcony. Plus, wines, aperitive food and breakfast, incredible. Not to mention the most welcoming, caring and heart warming host Luca. This is a heaven on earth. The price is ridiculous compared to what you get.

Luca, the proprietor, was fantastic— an exceptional host. The aperitivo and breakfast were over-the top. This was our third visit and we will definitely return.

The B & B is located in a hilly and very nice neighborhood. The views are spectacular! It served as a great home base for exploring many nearby villages. The breakfast was amazing! It included both savory and sweet. The quality of food was very good. There was nothing lacking. Lucca is the Best!

Location is perfect, room is very nice and clean, the view is spectacular and the host Luca is like your best friend and part of your family. Our experience at La Sismonda was way beyond remarkable. The views when you're arriving are impressive and the town's vibe is great and very peaceful. When you get there you feel very welcomed by Luca, who is the perfect host. He's very kind and friendly, and he's always willing to help you and make your stay remarkable. The place has one of the best views in the area, overlooking the entire region and giving you a nice outlook of what you will enjoy in Le Langhe: beautiful Medieval towns, vineyards and thrilling landscapes. If you're into photography, this will be a plus. If you're lucky enough to get rooms 1 and/or 2, they offer the best view of the hotel and have a private balcony where you can enjoy a drink or take very nice photos of the region. The balcony is shared between the 2 rooms. The day we arrived Luca invited us to an "aperitivo" that ended up being one of the best hospitality and eating experiences we've had in our lives. We tried many different Italian dishes and wines from the region. It was just amazing. This was a very huge plus to our stay there, as we were not expecting this. Breakfast is very good and varied and with a view. The whole experience was just so good that we definitely will come back. Thank you Luca!
