We really liked the balcony with amazing views of Napoli, the sea view from the window, the tasty breakfast, and how well-equipped the room was—with hangers, a tea-making station, mini fridge, and AC. But we especially loved the authentic feel of the place—it’s an old convent next to a church, tucked behind a big gate on a small piazza, in a truly lived-in, Neapolitan neighborhood.

The furniture is a bit older and there’s a small fee to use the washing machine or kitchen, but it wasn’t a problem. I used the washing machine and the nuns kindly provided washing gel, which was a nice touch.

Rented a room for 1 month at this hotel for my wife who was studying nearby at Frederico II. Everything was great. The hotel (the cheapest in the area) is clean, the staff (the abbess of the monastery) is polite, attentive. Yes, it is worth noting that this hotel is attached to a monastery. Quiet, clean, whoever is not populated. In this area of the city, such a hotel is a rarity. I recommend it if you need a calm environment for studying or leisurely trips to the city, on excursions.

Our stay overall was good. The nuns are very kind and polite. The room was super clean and organized. The location is convenient for those who have a car. Breakfast was delicious, everyday something different.

The only thing I would change is the alarm(literally inside the hotel for several seconds) at 7 am and then at 7:16. I think every guest should decide when to wake up and not be woken up so early every day, especially on vacation. I'm not sure if it's to wake up the nuns, or if it's the alarm when the children arrive at the daycare (there's a daycare there too) but it really bothered me.

The view of the bay of Naples and Vesuvius from the balcony was excellent. A unique opportunity to stay within a convent gave it extra interest. The nuns were friendly and helpful but didnt impose. Once in the room it was like any other clean and safe budget hotel. The self service breakfast was good. Wifi worked well. Quite easy to travel to see Herculaneum.

The private bathroom and general decor could do with some modernisation, but for the price everything was fine.

It's a Christian Day Time school with Accommodation. Staff consist of Sisters and they were very helpful. Breakfast was good (get ready around 8:30 am) , Flexible Check out time (just drop a key in the box). In case of early arrival in Naples, you can drop your baggage before checking in. The Room itself has an Air conditioner and is spacious, The bathroom is spacious and clean too. On the 3rd floor there's a terrace with a view over Naples. They cleaned the Room everyday after we went out in the morning during our 4 night stay in July 2024. It's around 700m walking from Metro Line 2 Station: Sian Giovanni Barra (just two stop away from Napoli Garibaldi / Centrale). I recommend it to the couple as well as family to stay here, as it is very safe and nothing to worry about. Check out the photos I have taken during my stay. Grazie 🤗

Nothing to dislike about..

It is a convent, which was actually a great place to stay with my family. Everything was clean, and the nuns were very helpful and understanding. Of course, you must respect the strict rules, but for us it was not any inconvenience. I strongly recommend this place if you travel with your family and look for a place a little far from the Naples' city centre.

Everything was OK.

Nice and clean place, AC working great and the nuns were lovely. Goofy to stay at a covent, although it didn't feel different from a normal hotel, it was nothing extreme. Rooms and bathroom were nice and very clean. Great view from the roof/terrace, beach super close.

Location a bit hard to find on google maps but its no big issue. Beds aren't the comfiest. Would be nice to have some fruit or vegetables with breakfast, even if just a tomato or apple or something.

The location was good for our needs. It was clean and quiet. We were happy there was a chapel avaliable.

The language difference was difficult, especially upon check in; and one of our party was even fluent in Italian. It would have helped if perhaps the sister superior of the inn could have tried to communicate some sense of friendliness. Again, that may be hard given the language differences, but a smile could go a long way toward helping the guests feel comfortable.

The room itself was pretty good, it has a nice atmosphere that the accomodation and the dear nuns provided. The breakfast that was provided was simple but enough. At the top of the building a nice panoramic view is waiting for you.

The accomodation was located a little bit far from the centre but the real problem is (it is related to the whole Napoli), that the public transport is awful. The bus and the tram has no schedule at all, running absolutely randomly, or most likely not at all. It is hard to plan your days according to that.

They were very friendly and helpful. I needed to get out at 8:00, and even if they started breakfast at 9, they left everything on the table for me, and as I had to leave with my car, they let me the remote control to open the big door and I could give it back in my return 3 hours later. They have a secure parking place

I was unlucky to be there in a night where they had a party on the Piazza nearby and it was very loud, but that has nothing to do with Villa Pacis
