We got upgraded to the 4 star sister hotel Magris next door, the hotel was clean and comfortable all the staff were very friendly and welcoming, good breakfast spread, nice bar and a shady garden to sit and enjoy drinks. It's around 30 mins walk to the centre, or about €15 for a taxi, there are 2 train stations within a 5 - 10 min walk that will get you to the centre or out towards Pompeii / Hurculaneum easily, the area feels a bit run down, but we didn't have any safety issues or concerns

Near to Airport and Naples reachable by train. Only one night but the room was comfortable enough. Offering an airport service and train to Naples in walking distance. Breakfast for a fair price. Parking was the best offer. Big enclosed parking area between this hotel and their sister property nearby. Very convenient.

Air Con has working hours so if you find yourself in the room between 9 and 4 you have no A/C because they switch it off. Also breakfast should really be left up to the guest. People do not wish to be served at a buffet style breakfast. That’s the whole point of buffet style. And when you get up to get more and leave your sweater and a full cup of coffee at your table (meaning you’re not finished yet clearly) only to find it has been removed and your place cleared within minutes of you getting something then either the staff is a bit overzealous or they just want you out of there. Also the fire alarm went off and no one said a thing. Very strange experience.

This is actually a review of Hotel Magris because we were moved from Hotel Tiempo to Magris.

The location in the industrial area. Chose this hotel for its proximity to the train station but had not expected the dismal surroundings. Both hotels really need to address the problem of chairs scratching (horrible sound) on tiled floors in their dining rooms - perhaps chair leg rubbers.

The room (we had a terrace) was really nice, the breakfast is basic but was perfect to grab some coffee and some light bites before heading out. The hotel offers a shuttle bus in the evening to the Port which is filled with lots of little restaurants which was brilliant on a night out if heading out for food. The hotel is a about a 15 minute walk to the train station

The area of where the hotel is based, is not the best. I felt on edge while walking through there even during the day

The location is ideal if you're coming by car - the hotel is close to the motorway exit, so you don't have to get embroiled in Naples traffic, and it has a huge, secure private parking area. Then it's just a short walk to the metro to go into the city centre. Our room was also comfortable and well furnished, and the staff were nice, especially the receptionist on duty the evening we arrived, who gave us a great welcome.

Even when we had the heating switched off, there was quite a loud background noise in our room, maybe from pipes in the walls or heating from other rooms. Also, the neighbourhood around the hotel isn't great.

Location is bit isolated.. Away from Central Station and Port..

Very nice hotel. We arrived earlier than stated check in time and were upgraded to their 4 star Hotel Magri. Very clean comfortable beds, staff were nice, friendly and helpful and excellent in helping us arrange our tours of the local must see sights.

Only thing missing was food and drink facilities during the afternoon, so no lunch available. Restaurant only open forr breakfast and dinner, but the food and service is excellent when it is open. The area itself leaves a lot to be desired although this is no fault of the hotel. Once inside the hotel grounds you forget the amount of garbage in the streets outside. 20 minutes walk to the centre (unless you take the long route like we did first day, then it's a long 60 minute walk!)

A little odd not being self service for the breakfast, staff were very nice and did a good job for the hotel, keeping portion size down.

Not the hotel fault but, was being charged any where from 15 to 25 euro for same taxi journey back to the station to catch metro link. When asked about the hotel shuttle advertised, turns out its only evening and if a group pre booked.

Location was good for travel to Pompeii and easy walk to train station for subway to downtown. Restaurant was excellent, which is a shared one with hotel next door. Staff very friendly and helpful with information. Subway stop is a 7 minute walk.

The location is nowhere near the pictures you have seen of Naples with the sea meeting the city for beautiful pictures, you have to travel(train, subway, taxi).and walk to see that area.

Staff were all friendly. Hotel was clean inside. Rooms were big with a lot of space. Only a 4/5 minute walk from the metro which was very handy to get to anywhere we wanted to. Breakfast was simple but very tasty.

We needed to go across to the sister hotel next door to use the bar in the evening if we needed a drink etc. Not many shops nearby
