The location in the middle of the center is marvellous, the nearby parking very convenient. Daily roomservice breakfast very nice, very friendly staff. Amazing view at Massimo Theatre and square.

Just that we couldn’t go to breakfast because of the size of the dining area however the breakfast in our room was excellent and made up for such a small issue

The central location and parking arrangements worked well. We were also given a recommendation to visit another hotel in the group, the Mondello Glam...........in the nearby coastal town of Mondello, for restaurant and views, which we took up, and were very impressed by. Thanks to reception staff for this tip! The location of Massimo Plaza is hard to beat, given the convenience of access to multiple restaurants, bars and shops.

Breakfast in our room was unusual The breakfast menu was satisfactory, but in-room dining came as a surprise. The facilities within the room were underwhelming for a four-star hotel, but adequate. The location, while central, did generate a lot of noise over the weekend from activities in the plaza, and the soundproofing was less than effective. All in all, though, we enjoyed our stay!

The location was perfect, just opposite Teatro Massimo and in the centre of town. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The staff, in particular, Francesca and Christian, but the other staff too, were very friendly and helpful. They gave good advice re restaurants and where to find things in Palermo and booked taxi transfers. We stayed 2 nights then drove to Taormina and returned for another 2 nights. The hotel allowed us to leave our large suitcases with them which made our trip easier. Very impressed and would definitely book again!

There was no lift and I had torn a ligament in my knee. Only one flight of stairs though. The staff helped my husband to carry our luggage which was appreciated.

The location could not have been more central! Walking distance from everywhere. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It is an older hotel, but well maintained and clean.

Parking and access with luggage was a bit of an issue because it is in a pedestrian zone… unfortunately we don’t travel light, so I suggest carry on or back pack only if staying here.

The location was PERFECT, the staff very accomodating! The rooms were much larger than normal European hotels, There was an offer of breakfast in the room that we did not use, but would have been awesome had we not been traveling as a group.

There is no lift for luggage, but the staff was willing to assist. There were no other things our group of 6 did not like

Perfect location for us - centrally situated opposite the Teatro Massimo and in a pedestrian zone close to markets and street cafés, and city tour buses leave from very nearby - about a minute's walk. Every one of the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Nice breakfast too.

Entrance to the hotel is up a flight of stairs - could be awkward for anyone with mobility difficulties, but okay for us. Some renovations in progress, perhaps that will include installing an elevator (I'm afraid we didn't ask).

The staff was very nice and always helpful. The location is excellent.

I had some issues with the transfer from the airport organized by the hotel. Even if I told the hotel I wanted to pay by card, and the hotel staff said it was ok and that they would let the driver know, this was not possible and we had to go around Palermo at 2am to find a cash machine.

Location is great on via Maqueda just opposite Teatro Massimo, a lively area full of people, shops, bars and restaurants. Room and bathroom were comfortable and well equipped. Staff was attentive at all times.

There is no a breakfast area, so it is served in your own room. You should select the ingredients previously and it is served at the scheduled time. Booking rates it as a four-star hotel, but the outside board indicates a three-star one. I guess it needs a restyling to get more character or charm.
