You can't find a better location in Palermo. The view over the Teatro Massimo is breathtaking and I don't think could be matched. You have everything you need within walking distance, even a small bistro with great coffee that opens at 7am for early risers. Even if the street is incredibly animated at night, closing the windows will shut all the noise out. The room was decorated with good taste and antique furniture.

The front door closes at night (not sure about times), and we had to wake up the lady to get it. Felt a bit uncomfortable, a key / fob would help.

Hotel is in a fantastic location, very close to Teatro Massimo. Although it is above a lively street, the balcony doors are completely soundproof. There is a long staircase, so not suitable for someone who cannot manage stairs. The owners are the sweetest people who made us feel like they were taking good care of us, even though they do not speak any English. One note - we really appreciated the beautiful soft towels!! Highly recommend this hotel, great value!

There was nothing I did not like about this property.

The location was perfect. The owners were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable for us. The shower was small, but the water pressure was excellent. The water temperature could be as cold or hot as you'd like it. The breakfast was good. We would return here and we would recommend.

Only because I have to write something in this section, beware, there is not an elevator. There are probably thirty stairs up, which was not a problem for us, but just a heads up. Although when we were leaving they lowered our luggage off the balcony, so that was nice to not have to carry them down.

Excellent breakfast. Towels and sheets changed several times. Attractive room. Perfect location.

Lack of tea/coffee making facilitieis in the room. Had to climb up 38 steps to reach the reception/entrance! The staff spoke no English which meant they were unable to offer advice about restaurants or transport etc.

The location was perfect. we were always a stones throw from all the best sights, markets, bars and restaurants. Exceptionally clean and friendly. It was a haven from the bustle outside. The new windows blocked out the very busy street below and the beds were fresh and comfortable. Although we didn’t choose a breakfast option we were able to get a wee coffee first thing. From the balcony of our room you could see the Teatro Massimo.

The room is basic. No frills but perfect for a city break when you are spending most of your day visiting the beautiful city.

Great central location. Exceptionally clean (seemed to be a brand new bathroom) and nice style/ colour scheme. Plenty of space in the room; also a desk. Bed firm and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast had good variety.

Two very long and steep flights of stairs to reach the entrance.

A lovely small hotel in the city historical center, own by a nice and wellcoming family. They offered transport from the airport which was very convenient, since we arrived at midnight. The room was clean and had a little balcony facing the main pedestrian street.

It was a little noisy in the evening and early in the morning, but this is usual in the city center anywhere.

excellent location right in the thick of Central Palermo activity. Within 15-20 mins of the hotel there are many Palermo surprises ( awesome sights). Teatro Massimo, Palatine Chapel, the harbour, St Catherine’s monastery etc. Breakfast was good to have on site, and changed a little each day.

it would have been good to have 2 chairs for our small balcony.

My fourth stay at Albergo verdi.The location is fabulous.

38 stairs to the top but it's an old building.

Albergo Verdi is charming in an old school Sicilian way and the location is amazing. My balcony overlooked the busy pedestrian road and I could see theater massimo, 30 seconds away!
