Loved the location, host was amazing, bed very comfortable, good size room, very clean, although shared accommodation we experienced minimal noise and no disruption from other guests/hosts.

Something to keep in mind if you are sensitive like us and coming in the peak season; Room is overlooking the main street, and even with the closed windows, there was a lot of noise coming in from outside and my partner had a lot of trouble sleeping because of it. And since we came late summer, it was still very hot, so we needed to have AC on all the time, even during the night because of the heat and all the noise from the main street which caused me major headaches and sniffling nose.

Marco was available via phone and text (WhatsApp) whenever we needed to reach him, which was especially true when our air conditioner was knocked out by a thunderstorm. He instructed me how to reset the circuit breaker on the phone and solved the problem right away. This is a very nice place to stay in a perfect location across the street from the Opera House. We especially appreciated the elevator, which are often unavailable in older hotels/B&Bs in Sicily. We would gladly recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable, and clean room in a central location in Palermo.

Location was perfect - directly opposite the Opera House. Apartment was fantastic and clean. I was only here for one night but would be ideal to base yourself here for a longer stay. Could not get hot water to work in shower - but there was hot water in bathroom sink. I did not contact the owner about this as it wasn’t a major for me - and I had read reviews prior about this so it wasn’t a complete surprise. Communication was very good. I was delayed due to lost luggage but was met there and given keys. Language barrier was there but we made it work. Would most definitely recommend this to solo travellers due to its central - and safe, location. I did not use any kitchen facilities so can’t comment on them - but looked to be well appointed.

The location: just steps from the Opera House and a short walk to restaurants and shops. Floor to ceiling windows flooded the room with sunlight. Our large room featured lots of storage, comfortable mattress and sunny bathroom, with small shower stall... Access to a kitchen with cooking supplies was a bonus.

I missed having a full-length mirror.

Handy to all sites- Marco was helpful in all aspects.Had all facilities. With check out at 1000hrs we had cab to the airport at 1200hrs Marco let us stay that little longer so we could do 40min tour of the opera house across the road prior to us leaving. wine on site for a donation too. The location is really good. It was easy to reach almost everywhere in the city on foot. Although the place is in the heart of the historic center it was very quiet and serene.

I think if breakfast could be served in the place it would be better. Although the check in time is 14:00 it would be better at least if we left our luggage before that time.

The room was recently renovated, spacious, bright, sparkling clean and perfectly equipped! The hotel is in the heart of the city center, close to all the attractions. A big plus for us was the welcome from Marco, the host, that took the time to have a coffee with us and provide us with suggestions for sightseeing/food/drinks but from the perspective of a local and beyond just reading a touristic guide. Another big plus is that the hotel has a little shared kitchen equipped with everything that someone needs and a cute balcony for the smokers of for the ones that just want some fresh air. To summarise: high standards, relaxed vibe, great location. Highly recommended!

The location is really good, it was easy to reach everywhere in the city, the room was big enough and quiet. We felt safe and comfortable.

There was no breakfast service but a shared kitchenette. There was no reception desk open 24 hour. Although the check in time is 14:00 it would be better if we left our luggage before that time.

Great stay in Palermo. Excellent position near the Teatro Massimo. Marco the owner ready to help in any moment and offers advice for visiting the most important places. WIFI is for free and works very well. The room is large and comfortable. Kitchen and terrace available.

The location was fantastic. Close to everything yet still reasonably quiet and secure. There was a kitchen to use. It was great.

Nothing not to like. As helpful and gracious.
