It's housed in a classic old building in central Palermo, just a block or so from Theatro Massimo and close to so much else you'll want to see. The building is likely an old palazzo, with its small door in the larger double-door entrance. The elevator is straight out of the 1930's and 40's, with the old wired cage and inner wooden and glass doors. You'll expect to bump into Humphrey Bogart. The only hitch in our stay was not having any staff on hand to meet us. But, if we had been better checkers of our messages, we would have found the several codes needed to access the building and our room. Still, the human touch on arrival would have been nice. Once we did meet staff the next day, they were great. Parking is a trick, so if you drive, check out their garage recommendation before you arrive.

The staff was really nice, showed us a map for how to walk around efficiently. We stayed at ground floor. Room was clean, cozy, the ac worked well. And bathroom was clean too. The location was great too, close to Teatro Massimo, everything was walkable.

I knew the room was separated from bathroom but I didn’t get it until I got there. They were separated and the bathroom was down to the hallway but there was a key so you have privacy. FYI city tax on the website was €2 per person per night but actuality €4 per person per night. They said they changed.

We stayed at the property for 10 days, and overall, it was a good experience. However, I wasn’t aware that the bathroom was separate and located in the hallway, so you had to walk past the entrance to access it. That was fine in the end, but just something to be mindful of. One thing that could be improved is paying more attention to the "Do Not Disturb" sign. Even though we put it on the door, the room was still cleaned, which we didn’t expect. Other than that, for the price, it was really good. The service was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was thoughtfully prepared, although we would have appreciated more fruit options. The location is very central, with everything easily accessible. Thank you for everything!

The location was perfect, really accessible to the heart of Palermo and even better for accessing the start line of the Palermo Marathon. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, the staff were really accommodating and helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious, but as there were a lot of sweet options the only thing we would change would be an option for fresh fruit.

There was not much to dislike, we really enjoyed our stay.

Nice and cozy place in an old building, reasonable for the money we paid. When booking, keep in mind that some rooms have an external bathroom outside the room, while others have it inside. We had to pay extra to change the room.

The building and lobby are not easy to find. The signs on the door could be clearer. The hosts were nice to us, although I don't think they appreciated that we asked a lot of questions, especially about renting a car in Siciliy, but this was our first time in Sicily and we wanted to get recommendations from locals before renting ))

A wonderful place just a 5-minute walk from Teatro Massimo. Our room was part of an authentic Palermo apartment — peaceful and overlooking a lush inner courtyard, a hidden gem you’d never notice from the street. The staff truly pampered us: even before our arrival, they sent detailed parking information and checked if we needed any assistance. Once we arrived, they recommended a great local restaurant. We also really enjoyed the breakfast. Highly recommended!

Loved our stay, staff were accommodating and happy to help, helped us book a taxi to the airport. Breakfast was fantastic and a bit different everyday with a fine coffee along with it. Great location and facilities!

Fridge in my room was very loud so had to unplug, also couldn’t get shower head to stay in place

From the small-door-entrance to the vintage lift that took you upstairs, this property was extremely charming on itself. It was the friendly staff and convenient location of the property that finished it off, it was perfect.

The only faults were a loose nightlamp and not enough poweroulets. But both very manageable and a very smal bother.

Excellent breakfasts, location and staff. The staff in particular made the stay a good one.

Our room came with a private washroom located outside of the apartment and down the hallway. This meant a lot of fussing around with skeleton keys in the middle of the night. Could have done without that experience. Rooms with a washroom in your apartment are available.

Vanessa the receptionist was very kind and I had great communication with her even before arriving to the hotel. The room was really nice and had a lot of space.

The only thing I don’t like is having the bathroom outside the room, even tho it was private. But I already knew that was what I had booked, so no problem.
