The terrace garden on the roof is absolutely stunning, a wonderful place to view the city and the surrounding mountains. Our room was opposite a beautiful building and overlooked a square, easily viewable from the small balcony of our room. There was a mini fridge in our room, useful for water and snacks to prepare us for exploring the city. A lift in the building made our stay enjoyable rather than having to climb 6 floors (a huge benefit in the hot weather). Despite not physically meeting with the staff, our communication with them was great, and the room was tidied for us each day with toiletries and towels replaced daily. There was a coffee machine available 24/7, with a larger communal fridge in the relaxation room. The rooms are well decorated and stylish. Thank you for an excellent stay!

There was a small amount of mildew in the bathroom, but that was only a minor issue. The shower temperature was a little temperamental, but we figured it out and got used to the fluctuations in temperature as we were only staying for 4 nights; it was not a massive issue for us. These are not complaints, but may need to be addressed later, so wanted to report them to you.

The terrace overlooking the city is beautiful. There are tables and chairs so it's possible to take your own drinks and relax up there. The room and bathroom was large and had every it should have. The location is very good, it is very central.

We never met any staff or the owners apart from the cleaning lady who wasn't the most welcoming when she opened the door to let us leave our suitcases. Other than that, it is self-checkin and checkout which isn't what I expected since it is not an airbnb.

The property is extremely well located between the Theatre MASSIMO and Theatre Garibaldi, behind the McDonalds( just for map reference), near Palermo Lolli train station. It was extremely quiet. The AC worked, it had a mini fridge, hairdryer, slow wifi, & it was clean and nicely painted. The upstairs terrace is beautiful and has a wonderful view of the city. We did not meet the hosts, as they were off site, but they were excellent in communicating with us.

The mattress was a bit too firm for us but that’s personal preference. The safe was not bolted to anything so not really safe so we didn’t use it. There were small bottles of shampoo but would have been good to have some hand soap as well.

Terrace was beautiful with amazing views across the city and very spacious - lovely for sunrise and sunset. Good location - we managed to walk to all major spots in town within one afternoon/evening. Large room and even though it was the attic room it didn’t feel dark and confined. Great instructions from the hosts on getting into the property.

Could have been more information or advice given for parking options but we managed to find our own free parking around 15 min walk away. Everything else was exactly what we needed.

Location is great! I like the autonomous of the check-in and space in the building. The bathroom door is not lockable and no ventilation. The breakfast has good selection of pastries and hot drinks. I like the cafe area which is outdoor and have some local touch with passengers resting or passing by.

I would say to have some ventilation in the bathroom and make the door lockable. Since the room is near the street, it is a little noisy at night, so a sound reducing curtain would be helpful too.

Location

Our room was called a deluxe room with balcony and had pictures of a terrace in the images section. In reality there was neither a balcony nor a terrace exclusive to our room. The wording is misleading and we were expecting more from the room while we were booking.

The location was amazing, the view from the terrace was simply mindblowingly beautiful. I talked to the owner Giovanna on the phone because I didn't receive some instructions, and she was very friendly, helpful and gave me detailled instructions. I also talked to the cleaning lady the next morning who was extremely friendly and helpful, helping with things that weren't even within her usual work. The room was on the simpler side, but perfect for us, had everything we needed and a little balcony with a beautiful view.

The overall building is older, but as soon as you enter "La Terrazza"on the sixth floor, you enter a nice renovated environment. Don't expect a 5 star hotel, but what is promised was available, and with the full support. I contacted the owners twice, both times they responded immediately and could provide me the information requested. Perfect support. You are one street away from the center and quick access to the places to visit in Palermo. Did everything on food and never had the feeling we had to walk back to the other side of the city. Never took a taxi back to the hotel.

If I need to be critical, the bathroom is renovated, but limited by the construction of the building. But clean, with a small walk in shower, fresh towels, soaps, shower gels and more, like in a modern 4 or 5 star hotel and above all: warm water.

The room was spacious with a newly remodeled bathroom with plenty of hot water, lots of closet space, two windows in almost a corner unit which was very nice and the most comfortable bed. Every morning, Giovanna had breakfast ready to go...cold cereals, juice, milk, coffee, expresso, yogurt,variety of meats, cheeses, olives, dried fruits, bread for toasting with butter, jams and honey and delicious homemade cakes and fruit tarts.. Upstairs there were 2 beautiful terraces, one on the roof.. perfect for aperitifs, which we used nightly. This was an unexpected bonus.

Location was great--close to Politeama Square airport bus stop where we arrived in Palermo and not too far from the port where we rented a car when we left Palermo. The room was very comfy and reasonably large. The view from the terrace was nice.

These remarks don't pertain to things that I didn't like, but to things that other travelers might want to know in advance. First, the "breakfast" part of "B&B" consisted of coffee and pastries at a nearby pastry bar with a voucher provided by the host. The pastry and coffee were very good, but it was a bit of a hassle leaving the B&B to find the pastry bar. Second, because I don't travel in Europe with a smartphone (I'm in Europe precisely to get away from all the calls and texts), nor do I have access to e-mails while on airplanes, trains, busses, etc., the fully electronic check-in process was confusing--we were let into our rooms by a friendly neighbor. But we did get it straightened out with the hosts.
