The hotel is very well located, close to all the main tourist attractions. Marco was incredibly kind and attentive. I had mentioned that I needed to leave early in the morning and also asked if there were any gluten free options for breakfast - he truly went above and beyond. He prepared a sandwich with gluten-free bread and left it in the fridge for my early breakfast, along with some delicious cookies. You could tell everything was made with genuine care and generosity. He was also very friendly and clearly enjoyed making guests feel at home. The place was very comfortable and quiet at night, which made for a great rest. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and for anyone who’s coeliac, there’s a restaurant few steps away that serves gluten free pasta and pizza. A lovely experience — I’d definitely come back!

If you wanna feel safe and be close to the city centre, this is the place to book! It was clean, the breakfast was delicious with sweet and salty options, our room was cleaned every day and towels replaced regularly and the host was welcoming. We also got new water bottles every day in our mini fridge so that was great. We also got to leave our luggage at the reception the day of our check out cuz we had a late night flight and wanted to explore the city for one more day, and came back at 7pm the same day to pick them up.

Great location, 10 minute walk to main area. Multiple cafes right outside the door, which made a great stop for a drink or gelato before heading inside hotel.

Showers were a tad small but then again you are in Europe , can’t really expect more . Pillows a bit flat but no biggy , just fold it Keep in mind this is a BnB, no reception at night , you are given 3 keys, one to get in the main building , one for the apartment (Opera) and one for your bedroom It’s a 7 bedroom apartment unit We occupied 5 .

Excellent central quiet location, BnB very clean with everything we needed. Marco was amazing and so helpful with recommendations. Bus times , Helping us organise our return to the airport. The breakfast was lovely very well organised and Theresa was a lovely in making sure we enjoyed our breakfast each morning. We chose the absolute best B and B in Palermo and definitely recommend it. We felt at home at Opera B&B. Marco is a very charming host who was there to help every day. The hotel is located in a very good location in Palermo, close to the city's main attractions. There are bus stops, numerous restaurants and shops nearby. Our room was very nice, spacious, with a bathroom with a shower cabin and cleaned every day. There is a fridge in the room where bottles of drinking water were refilled every day, which was very nice. Breakfasts are plentiful, everyone will find something sweet or salty. Coffee lovers could enjoy espresso or cappuccino prepared by Marco or the friendly staff. Overall, we wholeheartedly recommend staying with Marco at Opera.

The best part of the experience was the host. Marco is an amazing, kind, warm and open individual that made us feel safe and welcome. I would definetly recommend this place.

It doesn't have to do with Marcos place but Italy's breakfast culture is very different from ours. They emphasize sweets while we eat protein and fat so I would hve preffered more of those options. But as I say we encountered this in every Italian acommodation.

It's a B&B, which I didn't realize till a few days before my arrival. I say that because I'm not really a big fan of them. I've found that the host can sometimes be a bit too 'intrusive'. That was NOT the case with Marco. He very affable and always helpful and ready to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The location is within easy walking distance of most major attractions, shopping, and other tourist activities. The room was small, but comfortable. And the Wi-Fi signal in the room was excellent. Overall, it's a good value for the money if you're visiting Palermo.

Staying at Operà bb was an absolute delight! The location in central Palermo couldn't be more perfect, making it incredibly convenient to explore the vibrant city. Marco, our host, was the epitome of hospitality. His warmth and genuine care made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Additionally, it's worth mentioning that everything at Operà bb was exceptionally clear and well-organized, adding to the overall ease and enjoyment of our stay. The breakfast provided was also delightful.Overall, Operà bb exceeded our expectations in every way possible, thanks in large part to Marco's exceptional hospitality. We can't wait to return and experience more of Palermo's enchanting atmosphere, knowing that we have a wonderful home away from home at Operà bb. Grazie mille, Marco, for an unforgettable stay!

Everything was great

Marco is a very gracious host who enjoyed having guests staying at his property. He is a great representation of Sicilians hospitality and generosity. He checks in/out guests and prepare the breakfast. He is very informative and knowledgeable about his beloved hometown Palermo. The Opera is a tiny little gem in the heart of a big city, Palermo.

I find the WIFI connection was rather slow but given the property location and its close proximity to shops and restaurants I can understand.

The location was perfect for wandering around the historic center and reaching Teatro Massimo. Marco and the staff were wonderful and made sure we were well taken care of during our stay. The breakfast was just right. We had three in the room and were quite comfortable. The beds were good, the pillows a little firm. There is a lift so no stairs are required. A great place and I highly recommend it if you’re going to Palermo.
