Great location, 10 minute walk to main area. Multiple cafes right outside the door, which made a great stop for a drink or gelato before heading inside hotel.

Showers were a tad small but then again you are in Europe , can’t really expect more . Pillows a bit flat but no biggy , just fold it Keep in mind this is a BnB, no reception at night , you are given 3 keys, one to get in the main building , one for the apartment (Opera) and one for your bedroom It’s a 7 bedroom apartment unit We occupied 5 .

Excellent central quiet location, BnB very clean with everything we needed. Marco was amazing and so helpful with recommendations. Bus times , Helping us organise our return to the airport. The breakfast was lovely very well organised and Theresa was a lovely in making sure we enjoyed our breakfast each morning. We chose the absolute best B and B in Palermo and definitely recommend it. We felt at home at Opera B&B. Marco is a very charming host who was there to help every day. The hotel is located in a very good location in Palermo, close to the city's main attractions. There are bus stops, numerous restaurants and shops nearby. Our room was very nice, spacious, with a bathroom with a shower cabin and cleaned every day. There is a fridge in the room where bottles of drinking water were refilled every day, which was very nice. Breakfasts are plentiful, everyone will find something sweet or salty. Coffee lovers could enjoy espresso or cappuccino prepared by Marco or the friendly staff. Overall, we wholeheartedly recommend staying with Marco at Opera.

The best part of the experience was the host. Marco is an amazing, kind, warm and open individual that made us feel safe and welcome. I would definetly recommend this place.

It doesn't have to do with Marcos place but Italy's breakfast culture is very different from ours. They emphasize sweets while we eat protein and fat so I would hve preffered more of those options. But as I say we encountered this in every Italian acommodation.

It's a B&B, which I didn't realize till a few days before my arrival. I say that because I'm not really a big fan of them. I've found that the host can sometimes be a bit too 'intrusive'. That was NOT the case with Marco. He very affable and always helpful and ready to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The location is within easy walking distance of most major attractions, shopping, and other tourist activities. The room was small, but comfortable. And the Wi-Fi signal in the room was excellent. Overall, it's a good value for the money if you're visiting Palermo.

Staying at Operà bb was an absolute delight! The location in central Palermo couldn't be more perfect, making it incredibly convenient to explore the vibrant city. Marco, our host, was the epitome of hospitality. His warmth and genuine care made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Additionally, it's worth mentioning that everything at Operà bb was exceptionally clear and well-organized, adding to the overall ease and enjoyment of our stay. The breakfast provided was also delightful.Overall, Operà bb exceeded our expectations in every way possible, thanks in large part to Marco's exceptional hospitality. We can't wait to return and experience more of Palermo's enchanting atmosphere, knowing that we have a wonderful home away from home at Operà bb. Grazie mille, Marco, for an unforgettable stay!

Everything was great

Marco is a very gracious host who enjoyed having guests staying at his property. He is a great representation of Sicilians hospitality and generosity. He checks in/out guests and prepare the breakfast. He is very informative and knowledgeable about his beloved hometown Palermo. The Opera is a tiny little gem in the heart of a big city, Palermo.

I find the WIFI connection was rather slow but given the property location and its close proximity to shops and restaurants I can understand.

The location was perfect for wandering around the historic center and reaching Teatro Massimo. Marco and the staff were wonderful and made sure we were well taken care of during our stay. The breakfast was just right. We had three in the room and were quite comfortable. The beds were good, the pillows a little firm. There is a lift so no stairs are required. A great place and I highly recommend it if you’re going to Palermo.

Our one-night stay in the apartments in Palermo was a delightful experience. Located in the heart of the capital city, the apartments were surrounded by numerous cafes and shops, with a charming pedestrian street right at the doorstep. The staff was exceptionally helpful, proficient in various languages, and engaged in pleasant conversations. The manager provided valuable recommendations for exploring the city center, which was conveniently accessible on foot. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, and the historical house was well-maintained. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, and the bathroom's colorful lighting added a unique touch to the shower experience. Overall, it was a fantastic stay with all amenities within reach, making it highly enjoyable.

During our one-night stay in Palermo, we were disappointed to find that the city's cleanliness was subpar. The streets and corners were littered with a significant amount of dirt and trash, giving a negative impression of the city's hygiene. It seems that the city authorities have not prioritized cleanliness, resulting in an unpleasant odor, especially on the pedestrian streets. The situation reminded us of Barcelona, but unfortunately, Palermo appeared to have even more trash scattered around. It's unfortunate that such a beautiful city lacks proper attention to cleanliness, and we hope that the authorities address this issue in the future.

This was a good place to stay for our one night in Palermo before we took a flight home at the end of our holiday. Location is nice on a pedestrian street with some nice bars, restaurants and shops. Nice interior with high ceilings and a big room. Very friendly and helpful host. Easy walk to the historic centre and Palermo is a really stunning and vibrant city. Parking in Palermo is a challenge. I parked in the recommended garage for €30 overnight and it was only a short walk back to the B&B.
