Small, airbnb style of a hotel in an apartment on the first floor without breakfast. Oasis in the city centre with comfortable bed.

Warning: the hotel does not have 24/7 reception Rooms don't have sound proof door so it is very noisy. Some members of hotel staff has significant issues to speak English. There was a recurring issue at the reception desk where staff seemed unfamiliar with names from our country, leading to some awkwardness in communication and incorrect assumptions about gender. We would recommend providing staff with some resources or training on the diversity of guest names to prevent this from happening in the future. A smooth and respectful check-in process is the first impression a guest has, and this would be a valuable improvement.

City Center hotel excels in service. The room was large and quiet, the beds were comfy, and the shower was hot, so all basic needs were met. The building is a classic, but the hotel on the first floor looked newly renovated. There's a parking garage nearby, but we found a spot directly opposite the hotel, and the meters allow you to prepay for a full day at lower rate than the garage. We arrived late in the evening but the staff provided us with very detailed instructions, and video, of how to access the building, hotel and the room, where our keycard was ready for us. Every step was well-described so nothing could go wrong. To our surprise and delight, staff had prepared a detailed map of the city, personally highlighting all interesting spots. They also had prepared a list of the main sights, markets, best places for lunch and dinner, and pubs. City Center hotel is conveniently located at the edge of the main shopping street which leads to the heart of Palermo. We used their map as the main guide for our sightseeing the next day. The hotel does not provide breakfast, but the bar next door offers excellent cappuccino and brioches for very moderate (discounted) prices to guests as well as to many locals.

Highly recommend. The details for late checkout in were absolutely perfect. So clear with the video and pictures that it definitely took away any concerns of trying to get in due to late arrival. The recommendation of taxi share from the airports ideal as it's affordable and dropped off very close to end of the street. Location is excellent only short walk from shops and attractions. Only met staff on checkout but extremely helpful with questions we had and very pleasant. Will definitely use this location again and recommend it to others

An absolutely lovely place to stay! I enjoyed every single part of my stay here as a solo traveller. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and speak very good English. The room was very comfortable, with a mini fridge, smart tv and access to tea and coffee in the reception area. The hotel is close to most of Palermo’s main sights all of which are within walking distance. The airport shuttle bus stop is about 6mins walk away and costs €10 return. The staff have great recommendations for dining and things to see and do. I would definitely return again. Grazie Mille

This is a hotel in city centre, everything is walking distance, safe and clean neighbourhood. We checked in via code as reception was closed at the time of our arrival, but instructions were very clear and detailed.

Hotel is a bit run down (old parquet etc.), but everything is functional and pretty much clean. Our room looked at an inner space between buildings, but it was quiet.

Great central location. Friendly staff. Very clean property. Complimentary bottles water in the fridge a nice touch

Better signage at the front. Air conditioner in room not effective.

Everyone in Hotel City Center was a superb host, helping us with discovering Palermo and the stay there. Gabriella in particular is always diligent on checking on the guests that come and go and seeing that you are always well attended. Wonderful place with wonderful people.

The staff is extremely helpful and lovely. Everything is so wonderful. Having such a great time in Palermo.

The soundproofing from the room door is not that good. You can hear people talking on the aisle very clear.

The hotel is in a walking distance from the historical part of the city, comfortable bed, great staff, gave me plenty of tips for sightseeing and local food experiences. Thank you 🙏

Room is very clean. Hotel staff is very nice even I didn't meet them but they sent me the insturction all I should know for checking in to the room and reply my message very fast.
