The books in the room is a nice ornamental touch. The old decor is so stylish. Clean. A lot of towels. Bed very comfortable. The staff was so nice and smiling. At breakfast they offer you each day a different local sweet that they make. Such a nice touch. Breakfast is abundant and so tasty, amazing for a B&B. Location is literally a 5min walk from the Teatro Massimo and a 2min walk from a bus station. The air diffuser at the entrance of the house sends out an amazing fragrance. The walls have pictures of artistic Palermo and Sicily full of colours.

Window view was of pipes and AC machines hanging from other windows on the opposite side building. A tall building and a small facility aisle that's all you see. Bathroom was quite small which meant after a shower the bathroom fills up with steam and having no windows in the bathroom meant, all the steam would need to be defused into the main room to let it flow out from the room window. It makes the bedroom damp and moist.

Perfect location close to everything and within walking distance from the train station or bus to Mondello beach (around 20 mins walk). Very large room, nicely decorated Very organised with the self check in

Bathroom needs some serious updates Due to the very central location it was also very noisy. Breakfast wasn't great, no savoury option, it's just a croissant, a local cake and melon with cocos plus coffee. Not a lot of options. Also they normally serve it after 8am, I had an early flight so I had to leave 7.45 so I got nothing. But there is a beautiful coffee shop on the ground floor which had savoury stuff and really good coffee.

The property was excellent. The check in process is easy and the sent clear and concise instructions; including pictures. The room was large and was filled with great touches. the bed is firm. The shower is small, but we found the water pressure good and plenty of hot water. The breakfast was wonderful and had extras, like little local touches. The location couldn’t have been better. your always a very short walk to great historical sites, eateries and walking streets. This staff is so helpful and always ready to answer any questions. we spent 6 nights and loved every minute.

Our room was clean, inviting, and comfortable, with an electric water pot for making tea and coffee in the room any time. The breakfast was generous and delicious, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a fair amount of street noise (to be expected, and we didn't mind it), but with the doors closed, the noise was considerably less, and the A/C keptvthe room comfortable. It was very easy walking dustance to streets full of eateries and small shops. Not a problem for us, but be aware - the B&B Is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. We would definitely stay here again.

I liked many things and in particular my room. It was beautiful, clean, comfortable and specious. The bed was big and comfortable, I slept so well. I also liked the breakfast room which was also very clean and comfortable. The attention was first class. Federica and all the people were very friendly. They pay attention to detail and make sure the host is happy. I would love to go back and have already recommend Stupor Mundi to friends and family.

The only thing I missed was something savory at breakfast, which seems to be mostly sweet in Palermo, but I guess this is cultural. However, I enjoyed the lovely fresh fruit, which I also normally have but would have loved something savoury as well, like a boiled egg. But again, this is cultural, nothing to do with the quality of the food which was good.

We liked almost everything about the property - the location, the decor, the delicious breakfast, with Sicilian specialties, served at table and Federica and other staff looked after us beautifully.

Good communication, good location and late check in which was important for us. The room was perfect for a night or even more.

It was a bit noisy in the morning with people chatting in the common area and doors banging. This seems to be a Palermo problem though with many rooms rented in bigger flats.

After a few days walking in Palermo, I believe that this location is really one of the best, if not the best. Very close to all sightseeing spots, with several restaurants and shops at hand, in a very quiet and safe area. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was fantastic and the owners very kind.

Perfect location, at the end of the main street. Breakfast was super, typical italian (croissant, fruit, lemon jam,honey, espresso/cappucino, juice), but also served us with cassatas, Sicilian biscuits and honey and alond milk. The staff were very kind. They try to explain us what should to visit, where to should go. We have in our room a little balcony with street view, but didn't have noisy from the street, but we were have also in the room ear plugs, in the case of noise, but we didn't use it. We can leave in the b&b the luggages after check-out. The b&b have a common mini fridge, in it have bottled water, which we can take.

Sometimes I have problem with internet connection, but after few times log out and log in the problem was solved
