We stayed at the Alma Hotel for a week, and it really exceeded our expectations. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and both the room and the hotel were spotlessly clean. There is an elevator that works a bit slowly, but it was totally fine. For younger or more active guests, the stairs are a good alternative. I was traveling with my family, and since my mom couldn’t use the stairs, the elevator was perfect for her. Breakfast was also good, with plenty of sweet options. We had expected some vegetables, which weren’t available, but we were perfectly happy with what was offered. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were always kept very clean. Our room was on the 6th floor, facing the street, but we barely heard any outside noise. The location is excellent too, just a few minutes’ walk from the city center. Overall, we would definitely love to come back when visiting Palermo again!

All of the staff were very friendly from reception to the cleaners they looked and sounded like a close team. All were very helpful with advice and directions. Breakfast was buffet style and very good quality. Room was very comfortable and clean, bed were super comfy, 4 nights perfect sleep. Location was perfect within walking didtance of main sights. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Palermo.

Clean, tidy and very central. The whole experience was less of a holiday feel and more like a city break and I think this hotel reflected that. More of a base of operations than a place to chill...but a very decent choice at a good price so we were not disappointed. The tea room next to the Hotel Ariston across the road did the best cheese and tomato sandwich we've ever had...they don't speak English much and the chef reminded us of Marco from Everybody Loves Raymond (which was funny)...but it is as authentic/local as you'll find.

The hotel's breakfast options were not to our liking...that's not to say others wouldn't like them...but not for the diabetics among us that's for sure with so many 'traditional' breakfast items in Sicily being so sweet.

We liked the central location of the hotel. The staff was very nice, always trying to make things easy and comfortable. It is a modern and young location. It was nice to have a water-boiler in the room. The welcome drink is everything you find in the fridge. The parking service works well. A guy comes around and brings your car in a „private garage“ dunno where the hack but it works really good.

Very little. The breakfast is really mediocre. The price-performance ratio is good enough. But if you like fresh juice in the morning you will be disappointed. The coffee comes from a machine that uses masses of sugar and artificial powder to mix up something terrible.

The Alma hotel is in a wonderful location within very close walking distance of main attractions. They were also very gracious when we needed to leave 1 day early due to a family issue and returned all money except taxes. The breakfast was very good and the hosts very helpful.

Given we were driving, it was quite a challenge to find a place to park when we arrived but to be honest, the hotel did its best to help us. Parking is also quite pricey (as I recall 25 Euros) so if we were to visit again we would definitely only do trains. Other than that, very nice property.

The location is very central for sightseeing, dining and shopping. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable..The continental breakfast was very good with plenty of variety. Your business was appreciated and you were made very welcome by a young staff. You can get an airport shuttle bus to Politeama and walk a short distance to the hotel which is €10 return. We got a shared taxi from the airport for €8 per person to Palermo which dropped us 2 minutes from the hotel.The taxi will wait until it is full which may be 10 to 15 minutes. You can also book a taxi for €50 but agree the price first.

The lobby is on the 2nd floor. The hotel didn't have a bar but neither of these bothered us.

The Alma Hotel is a gem! The staff were professional and kind an elevated hospitality experience! The hotel is perfectly located near the shopping and restaurants area! This establishment was clean with modern amenities! The breakfast was delicious! They offered fresh fruits with an array of Sicilian pastries! This hotel exceeded my expectations!

Very friendly and helpful staff (though sometimes it felt a bit weird when there were more staff members during breakfast than guests), the room was very clean and quite comfortable. There is a small kitchenette and a dining area, as well as a tiny balcony, very cozy and nice place to stay at. The bathroom was well equipped, with plenty of toiletries provided, as well as some earplugs and slippers. Despite a central location we can't complain of any excessive outside noise. The staff was very accomodating with late check-in and we could leave our luggage after checking out. The breakfast was also pretty nice, I loved having cannoli every morning.

The space for our belongings in the bedroom wasn't particularly practical: some hooks for jackets and shelves wouldbe nice. The sink seemed to be somewhat clogged and a paper tissue dispenser kept breaking and falling down. Also the water in the shower is kinda slow warming up and reacting to temperature setting change.

This little gem is close to the old city and opera house. The rooms were well appointed and very clean, with complimentary soft drinks. Beds and pillows were comfy and we slept well. The staff was very friendly , they were just wonderful with all of our questions and they even held our luggage so we could enjoy our last morning in Palermo. The area was nice, safe and close to restaurants and shopping. I cannot say enough good things about it! We really enjoyed our time there!

Location is excellent close to the Theatre Massimo and the archeological museum. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room had everything you need. Breakfast was very good with very good gluten free options for one of us. We wanted a quiet room and got that. Bed was comfy.

Only thing was the room was a very monochrome grey and being on the inner courtyard the result was a bit gloomy.
