Location was excellent for our purposes. Room was large and clean. Breakfast (when we had it) was more than adequate. Staff were nice and helpful.

The holder for the shower head was loose, so a hands-free shower wasn't possible. One day when we were out, they installed a door-card-operated system for the lights. As we only had one card, it meant when one of us was out, we had to knock to get let back in. Two cards for a double room would be better.

Located in a strategic position within walking distance of most of the city's attractions, hotel Tonic offers good comfort and excellent value for money. It is a true 3-star hotel. I stayed in this hotel for the second time for 4 days and found the same welcoming people at the reception, a large and quiet room, a confortable bed and a good and varied continental breakfast.

The staff was helpful and courteous, we really enjoyed our stay here. They accommodated to every personalization and wishes that we needed. It was quiet and the soundproof of the walls seemed nice. The breakfast offer was great as well, truly a nice price point met with a high quality. The location is perfect for sightseeing and shopping as well. Would come back again.

For a 3 star hotel it was great value, the room I had was huge with a balcony, clean and comfy. Lift to room with only a few stairs to navigate (staff very helpful)

The aircon was ineffective never cooling the room, it was 35degrees at night at 8pm. The coffee machine didn’t work if you need a wake up coffee. Breakfast very basic and if you don’t get there early not much is left.

We booked the room 2-3 months in advance, expecting to get a room with balcony as all rooms above ground floor have balconies. Arriving at midnight, we were assigned to a room in ground floor, with only a small window, very dark room. Why would the staff not offer the arriving guest as good a room as they can, it was obvious that the hotel was not full. This is not good service! They informed about breakfast, but did not mention that this was not included in the hotel price, then offering a 50EUR bill at check-out. We are of course willing to pay this, but would nice to get this information in advance.

Good location. Easy to walk to the historic centre and port. Comfortable rooms.

There was a problem with the air conditioning and we had a continuous puddle of water in the room which made it dangerous to walk on. Staff were unconcerned so assume it happens a lot. The room was clean but duvet had no cover and was a bit stained.

Hotel location was fantastic! The rooms were a good size and very clean. The bed was big and comfy. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel is amazing value for money. The WiFi also worked perfect.

Would have liked a couple of UK channels on the tv.

The air con in room was very noisy and the room could of done with an upgrade as floor was up near balcony and the bed frame looked very tired looking but overall OK

Excellente location! very nice open buffet breakfast, kind and very helpful staff, baggage storage possiblity.

No window in the bathroom, ventilator is not enough to clear the air, therefore smells a bit heavy. Otherwise old building with character.

The hotel was very close to the city centre, but on a side street and so it was surprisingly quiet. The windows had great sound isolation. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast was really good value for money.
