We were welcomed at the door by Sylvia, who quickly endeared herself to us and our travels. She gave us information about the town. There is a lift to the floors above. Parking was trouble-free. The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom, whilst not large, was adequate. We had a balcony, overlooking the street and some houses. It is a quiet street. Walking distance from shops, restaurants, and Lake Trasimeno. Picturesque township. There is an in-house restaurant attached to the hotel.

I guess everyone wants something better...views, facilities etcetera. Realistically, this was very good for the price.

Good WiFi Fair breakfast but it could be improved a little some things for those who are demanded and want many choices. No free mineral bottle of water in the room at least the first night is required in my opinion like most hotels need to be free , at least a big bottle. Good choice fairly 9/10 for its price. We wish everyone a pleasant stay there.

I loved everything about the hotel. Sylvia at reception was awesome, I can’t remember the name of the beautiful woman that did breakfast but she was wonderful with a beautiful voice. I think her name was Cinche. These two women made our stay even more wonderful than it already was. They actually felt like family and treated us like we were.

The breakfast was included in the price and was very good. There were savoury meats and cheeses , yoghurts, pastries toast and various jams etce, everything you could want .The staff were obliging and friendly , especially the receptionist and there was a restaurant next door. The hotel was in a great position to walk into town., free parking always available too.

The staff as extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The room was very comfortable, the shower was excellent and the bed comfortable.

I can't think of anything that we didn't like. We will be going back again.

Trains going close by,happily not disturbing sleep. Further from the lake than l thought. That's about it

Simply, but completely perfect for shorter stay. We met amazing staff, which made our visit so nice. Don´t expect much from the breakfast, just basic croissant, ham, cheese and coffe. But made with love and also there´s no so much other possibilities - Passignano is small and the grocery is far.

The owners, Sylvia and Marco, are the best! They took care of us like we were family. We left feeling the sadness of leaving a part of us behind. And their restaurant was a magnificent experience! Not to mention the excellent breakfast each morning.

This is a little gem of a hotel. Silvia the owner made our time there special. Her welcome, the extra care with my diet restrictions, her calm assistance with anything we wished to know. Offer of underground parking to keep the car cool. Thank you Hotel la Vela wish we were coming back soon.

very warm welcome and extremely helpful staff, Silvia in particular. Super location , very convenient to the lake and the old town. Car parking excellent. Healthy breakfast. Very sorry we didn’t book a table in the restaurant as the menu looked very appealing
