1. Well thought out access to the property - loved the remote check in 2. Responsive, communicative and friendly hosts 3. Private parking 4. Clean sheets and towels 5. External (not ensuite) yet private bathroom 6. Private balcony with gorgeous vistas of the sea and sunrise from the balcony of Room 301 The option of adding breakfast to the stay if we preferred.

Wifi doesn’t extend up to the 3rd (highest) floor - perhaps a Wifi repeater could help extend the signal and reach across the house.

The floor to ourselves with two bedrooms was a treat after 3 weeks of sharing a room. Hosts were very easy to communicate with.

We had very noisy fellow overnighters unfortunately. Came in about 2:30am and made a heck of a racket. Also the only place we stayed at of about a dozen this trip that did not have double glazing windows to block out the outside noise.

There might be more pleasant and helpful couples running B&Bs or small hotels, but I don't think I have ever met any. These two are willing to go miles out of their way to make a guest feel welcome. The building itself is homely, the area is quiet (apart from the odd dog barking, but that was not a problem during the night), and breakfast a delight. And the (surely unique?) selfie machine in the kitchen/dining room is a great way to get guests talking to each other before the coffee kicks in! Our dog was also made to feel extra welcome there, which is always appreciated, of course.

1. It would be quite difficult to find the place without satnav, although Google's map program found it easily enough, so no complaints really. 2. Parking is not the easiest, but the car is as safe in their car park as it could possibly be, hidden away behind a large locked gate (which is good if you have a car packed to the roof with luggage). But all of this is nitpicking. It's a great little place. Of course it's not perfect (so not 10 out of 10), but where is? City View would score a lot more than 90 out of 100 on our scale. We'd challenge anyone to find a nicer couple running such an establishment,

The rooms were clean, hot water all the time, nice and quiet.

The bathroom was enormous but the shower cabin was very, very small. They have enough space, they could really make it a bit bigger. And I didn't like the fact that you don't get to see the owner, it's all done by phone, mail...

The B&B is small and quiet. We had aircon and the bathroom is spacious. The room itself was on the smaller side for a family of four but was good value for money. I liked the selection of continental breakfast items in our room. The shower was ok and the balcony had a lovely view of the sea.

The B&B is on a steep hill with a very small sign so missed it and drove our SUV to the top of the hill where our car almost got stuck. Parking was tight due to the size of our car. Detailed instructions on how to check in but was thrown when I saw 3 padlocks on the gate so give yourself time to read and figure it out.

Room was absolutely amazing as were our hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Made to feel at home immediately. The cleanliness was fantastic throughout our room and bathroom. Brilliant place to stay and would recommend it 100%.

This is a place I want to come back to. Room was very clean and spacious and staff very nice. The area was very nice too

lovely property with the added bonus of onsite parking. The decor was a little tired but the rooms were immaculately clean.Felisia was very helpful and when I requested an extra pillow it literally arrived in minutes..wonderful service.

It isn’t very clear on the listing that the bathroom was separate across the landing from the room-not a major problem but I think it should be made clearer.

Location is calm and tranquil. Facilities nearby, beach, station and bus terminus. We love walking when abroad and this was a necessity for us to have everything within walking distance. Felicia is adorable. Breakfast abundant and extremely delicious. Room and bathroom clean and tidy daily. Highly recommended. Definitely will make a second visit.

The host were great & breakfast was really good. Catered for my partner who is gluten free and gave lots of tips and advice, great English and the bed was so comfy! Great view from the room and very responsive on message to any questions!
