Sea view

The sound insulation. There is noise from the busy street and also a big antenna on top that is very and creepy noisy when it's windy. Something must be done with the windows frames and bring them in this century

Really excellent staff - I'm learning Italian and they were all patient and kind, asking if I wanted to speak in English or Italian, and then helping with my poor language skills! The room was large with a good-sized balcony with seating and a fabulous view of the beach/sea. Plenty of parking along the road in front of the hotel at this time of the year (we stayed in February, but I think it must get really busy in the summer - the hotel does have parking at an extra charge). We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant and breakfast is fabulous, with an enormous choice of everything you could possibly wish for. This was also excellent value for money - I'm sure it is much more expensive in summer as its location is so good - but it was great for a February stay. We walked into the town from the hotel - less than a mile and a really nice walk. We also walked back along the beach from the river - the beach is a wonderful sandy beach, really pretty. Thoroughly recommend Pescara and Hotel Maja.

Check-out time at 10.30am is just a little early. 11am would be preferable.

Very strange breakfast system: buffet, but you cannot serve yourself. Must go and stand right beside the croissants and ask a staff member to please give you one. Same for every item in the buffet. And, a very annoying hard-rock music in the breakfast hall. Very strange atmosphere as the personnel seemed to enjoy that type of music during breakfast. Quite awful. Outside that area, peaceful Christmas music.

We liked our spacious room and comfortable bed and appreciated the black out blind. It was very quiet round the side of the hotel so slept well. A safe was provided for valuables and a fridge. Loved and used the complimentary bicycles! Breakfast was great apart from the coffee, disappointingly it was powdered from a machine. Good free on street parking as hotel car park was chargeable. Staff were friendly and helpful

Although the room was clean, the same can’t be said for the window! There was a side view of the sea but we looked straight onto a derelict dirty building which was off putting. The plus was that it was quiet away from the main road and you could pull the blind down. Car park was 10 euros daily Bottles of water were provided daily in the fridge but we were charged for them when checking out.

The location is bang on and we had a beautiful view across the whole beach from our room. There are numerous bars and restaurants close by for an endless entertainment. The staff are all super friendly and will do everything possible to keep their guests happy. We will certainly be staying at Hotel Maya again if in this area again….it was a pleasant stay. Very good place to stay. Great customer service at the restaurant. Great customer care, hardworking staff, always ready to assist. Very clean room and very clean hotel overall. Excellent breakfast with attention to the details. High quality food and customer focused staff.

Sylvia greeted us and was exceptionally welcoming and helpful dealing with a potential crisis we faced as a group. Elena and Luca went above expectation accommodating our dietary requirements in the restaurant for our evening meal. Dinner and breakfast choice very good. Overall a clean and comfortable hotel, the staff are what makes this hotel a pleasure to stay at. Thank you.

Unfortunately, our room on the second floor had a very strong, unpleasant smell of drains and sewage.

The hotel is very well located, well maintained, very clean, super helpful and friendly staff, right across their own beach which is beautiful, parking on site, free bicycle rental and breakfast was so good with a complete buffet (One day they ran out of scrambled eggs I asked for more and they made me some right away, the next day I asked for a fried egg for my daughter and they made it as well, really good service) Big rooms with a lot of storage room, TV and mini fridge and a beautiful ocean view. Very good value for your money, we will definitely return! I really recommend it for a stay with children!

Mattress and pillows are extremely hard. And bathroom had some mold 🫤

The staff were always very nice, professional and ready to assist, perfect service i must say. The room and other areas of the hotel were kept super clean at all times. Breakfast was good, the location of the hotel is alright, gorgeous view but a little walk from the city centre and supermarkets.

The bunk bed is what i didn't like, since i had asked for the 2 single beds option. I understand the bunk bed is used to save space, however it is so outdated and not comfortable to use.

Staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Room was comfy, good shower and a nice view of the beach. Price was great. Breakfast was exceptional, best hotel breakfast I've had in Europe. So much to choose from and all high quality produce. Free WiFi throughout the hotel and in room. Bit of a walk from the centre but it's a lovely walk along the beach, and they have bicycles you can borrow to make the journey quicker. Would happily stay here again.
