This is a B&B in the form of a shared space, with independent bedrooms, but kitchen and living spaces completely shared. It is well-maintained and there is a nice shared balcony. Breakfast was Italian with pastries, but really very well done. Parking is tight, but really useful to have.

It wasn't clear from the listing just how thoroughly shared the space is. Essentially, you get a bedroom and everything else is shared. That works for some people, but not our family, and if that was clearer then we would have booked elsewhere. But if that is the kind of place you are looking for then this is a good one.

Good size room and bathroom. Everything exceptionally clean. Warm welcome on arrival. Excellent, substantial breakfast. Wonderful location - walking distance from santuario station and from Pompeii ruins. Lovely view of the mountains from breakfast room. Use of full kitchen. Washing machine available for small additional cost. Perfect host - couldn’t do enough for us. Would certainly recommend. Thankyou Diego 😊

There is no lift - not the end of the world, but it would have saved us a little!

We loved our stay at Nolana '86. The views of the surrounding mountains at breakfast were amazing and I loved the plants around the terrace. It was so pretty. The breakfast was delicious. Something different every day! The host and staff at breakfast were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. The host was very kind and would ask us about what we had planned for the day and gave us advice on how to get there and even what train to take if needed. It's a great location for visiting Pompei and close to food and gelato shops. (We also visited Herculaneum and Mt Vesuvius - very easy to get too). The room was spotless and very comfortable. We had a lot of space and we loved eating dinners on the balcony of our room. It was so quiet we didn't hear anything at night. We slept very well. The communal areas were great as well. The check in was very easy. I loved everything about our stay and would 100% recommend to others to stay here.

We had the family room and it was spotlessly clean and comfortable for the 5 of us. There is also a communal sitting area and large balcony for guest use. The guest house is an easy 10 minute walk from Pompeii Santuario train station or Pompei central station (for metropolitan line from Naples Garibaldi). (It’s a much further walk from Pompei Scavi - villa dei misteri station for the Circumvesuvio line trains). Great location for visiting Pompei archeological site (there is a quiet entrance 15 min walk from the guest house) and lots of good cafes and restaurants close by. The owner Diego was very kind in letting us leave our bags in the morning and provided lots of helpful information. We missed the included breakfast as we had an early train, but Diego kindly offered us a voucher for breakfast at a bar next door that opens early.

The host was very nice and helpful with directions and recommendations. He contacted me beforehand and helped pick the right transportation so I wouldn't have to walk much. The room was spacious and well equipped, and the kitchen/lounge area as well. Nice view from the terrace. Breakfast had delicious traditional pastries and coffee.

The accomodation is located on the second floor, with exterior staircases, so be mindful of that if you're traveling with heavy luggage. The toilet works with an old gravity system and takes a while to fill the tank and flush.

This B&B was just perfect. A great location to walk to the ruins & the restaurants etc in the new city but in a nice quiet area. Diego was fabulous giving precise directions to get there by train which was really helpful. He made great recommendations for the sights/activities plus good restaurants nearby. We had breakfast 1 morning which was lovely local pastries and fresh authentic coffee. The facilities at the B&B were beyond our expectations. Rooms were large, clean & really comfortable. There was a small kitchen area with large fridge, a separate dining/sitting plus the outside seating area which was amazing in an evening when everything was cooling down a bit. I cant reccommend this place enough. A brilliant start to our Italian adventure thanks Diego

Host is so lovely and helpful (generally I found other Neapolitans not so helpful!). This makes a real difference to your stay. One of the best hosts I have encountered anywhere. He is responsive to messages and invites you to message him during your stay for help. Diego will offer to make you typical breakfast and dinner which is great if you have younger kids especially. The room had a fridge and small balcony and was super clean and spacious. Lovely outdoor space to sit and dine.

The location is fine but depending on your ages, you may prefer to be near the main train station. Be aware there are 2 flights of steps up to the property. Pompei is definitely more rustic than the Amalfi towns. It’s a great central location though.

It is beautiful, clean and it has heating (so you can make it as warm as you want, we visited in March). Diego is extremely helpful, friendly and nice, we had emergency situation, but he helped us and promptly and effectively solve the problem.

The only negative was that we came in night before garbage collecting, so area was a bit smelly (but not the apartment, it is in the third floor). The other day, after the collection, it got better. Also, be sure for the purpose of the hotel, the biggest advantage is proximity to excavation site and possibly the railway, but there is not so much to do in Pompeii otherwise.

The room and bathroom was spacious (we booked for 3 and get the 4 bed room. Bed was comfortable, and cozy, There's a little fridge in the room so you can cool the water if you need to. There's also air conditioner in the room, but we didn't take much use of it, because it's not that warm in April. We have balcony in the room, too bad we were there for only two nights with full schedule, otherwise it must be nice sitting in the evening on the balcony. The place is within walking distance to the Cathedral and restaurants and cafes. and Scavi di Pompeii / Plaza Immacolata. Diego (and Mario) was really a nice host and very helpful. He found out that we stopped at the furtherer train stop, so he arranged a taxi for us. Every morning he provides us with Cappucino and sweet Italian breakfast, we had our breakfast on the rooftop, terrace on our check out day and the view is amazing.

We have nothing to complain about our stay there. Next time we visit the area again, we will definitely stay there again.

Nolana 86 was absolutely beautiful. Diego has remodeled the unit and he has done a WONDERFUL job. The room was perfect for three travelers and centrally located to the downtown and the ruins. Diego is a very kind, funny, and knowledgeable individual and he made us feel very welcome. The town of Pompeii is really cute and a nice place to unwind after visits to bigger cities. I highly recommend staying at Nolana 86, and would definitely return. Kudos to Diego, well done!

The place is great. Only suggestions, no complaints: 1. The unit is on the top floor with many stairs and no elevator. I brought my 85-year-old mom, and she was able to navigate fairly easily with time. I mention this as an FYI - if you are traveling with someone, stairs might be an issue. 2. A sign on the outside with Nolana 86. I used GPS maps and arrived at my destination but wasn't certain it was correct. Just a sign that gives validation that you are in the right place.
