This property was a very convenient location for access to the archeological site and Public transport system. The facade of the property is very chic while also secure and safe looking for our party of two females. The garden and pool area are immaculate, welcoming and exclusive. Well established Mandarin and orange trees offer lush greenery to the backdrop of volcano. The interior is minimalist and sleek, maintained to a very high standard. Beds are large and comfortable. The bathroom is modern with rainfall shower and handheld spray head. Air-conditioning controlled from within the room. Breakfast is served downstairs with mouthwatering pastries, fruits, cheeses, cold meats, cereal and yogurt and the best cappuccino you'll get in Italy. This is a family run business and Angela and her father are hard working professionals. They are kind, charming and helpful. Their personal touch is truly what makes the stay in this stunning setting exceptional.

Absolutely Everything 😊 Angela was the ultimate host, incredibly helpful with useful tips and happy to help with booking anything at all. It has to be said as I've travelled a lot and all over the world, Maison de Julia hands down has to be most cleanest accommodation I have ever stayed, it's immaculate. The beds were so comfortable and the room was spacious, and breakfast was fabulous. The pool and lounge area was a wonderful bonus and much appreciated. The area is authentically Italian, felt very safe and a short walking distance to the train, town centre and the Pompei ruins. There should be an 11 out of 10 rating as I can't recommend Maison de Julia highly enough. So if you're lucky enough to find availability, go go go you will love it. Down a quiet area of Pompeii but one your there the place is lovely to walk into town 10 mins. Facilities are great and an Italian breakfast which includes a lot of pastries. But they have serial bread for toasting , fruit and Angela offered to cook something salty if needed. Room was spotless with big cupboard good size bathroom with shower, comfy bed and an outdoor pool. Car parking also.

Maison de Julia was one of the cleanest, most comfortable and well run places I’ve ever stayed! Angela is so helpful and accommodating. The property is spacious, bright and absolutely spotless. The swimming pool is refreshing after a busy and hot day walking. Our room was large, the bed was so comfortable, the minibar was really reasonably priced. Parking off the street was a bonus. The breakfast is stunning, loads of choice and really fresh pastries, cakes, fruit and yoghurts. It’s a short walk into town and around 12 minutes to the entrance to the Pompei ruins.

We only stayed 2 nights!

We really enjoyed this beautiful B&B which was our base for visiting the Amalfi coast for 10 days: Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius, Napoli. A train station Pompei Sanctuario is a short walk away, there is a corner store a couple of blocks away. Entrance to the Pompeii ruins and the town center of modern Pompeii are also close, a 10 minute walk. The room was comfortable and big enough to live in comfortably for 10 days. There is a garden with a pool and a view of Vesuvius, and a breakfast area with a couch where you can work or read. The best part of our stay was the staff, kind, very helpful, flexible, who made our stay a perfect experience.

Everything was fabulous. Spotlessly clean, modern and charming. Beautiful pool. Rooms are spotlessly ckean. Angela was the perfect host and she went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Every hotel needs an Angela, a remarkable hard working young lady. It's one of the best places we have stayed better than some 5 star hotels. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in pompei. I have coeliac disease and Angela even made me gluten free biscuits 😋 . Absolutely fantastic stay. Don't book anywhere else.

There wasn't anything at all

We had a great stay at Maison De Julia at the end of October for a long weekend of sightseeing, and to enjoy the last of the warm weather of the year (hence swimming pool was a must for the kids!). Location-wise, most places we looked at with a pool were a long way from anywhere, whereas this was perfectly situated in a residential street with just a 10 min walk into the town centre, with lots of restaurants. A 15 min walk to the Pompei ruins, and a 10 min walk to the nearest train station to get to Herculaneum and Naples. Perfect. We also took a trip up Vesuvius which Angela arranged for us. The hotel itself is probably the cleanest and best maintained of any hotel / B&B I’ve ever stayed in. Everything is modern and immaculate, rooms are cleaned daily to a really high standard, sheets and towels changed regularly. Breakfast was plentiful with some amazing local patisserie options as well as all the usual you would expect. The garden and pool are beautifully kept, and the rooms have very reasonably priced minibars so a swim and relax by the pool with a drink at the end of the day was a must! And price wise for the rooms, I don’t think you would get much better. During our stay we were hosted by Angela who was on hand to help with anything we needed during our stay and made us fell at home. All in all we had a really enjoyable stay - thank you so much. We would recommend anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Pompei to try Maison De Julia - you won’t be disappointed !

If you are wondering whether to book, wonder no more! Beautiful, quiet, contemporary accommodation. The rooms were spacious and extremely clean. The host could not do enough for us. We received amazing advice for our Mount Vesuvius and Pompei trips. She even drove us to the train station which was two trips! Thank you, our short visit was amazing!

We didn’t use the pool but maybe include the charge in the booking.

Beautiful property, very smart and clean with a wonderful pool area. Very close to a train station for access to Naples and Herculaneum, and a short walk to Pompeii ruins entrance. We also did a wine tasting lunch at the local winery which was about 15 minutes walk away and very enjoyable. Breakfast was fresh and varied. Angela was a wonderful host, so helpful with information about the area. Would definitely recommend. Room had a/c and a fridge stocked with beer, soft drinks and snacks.

Stayed here as a family with 2 teenage children. Absolutely stunning accommodation, breakfast is beautiful and the host is exceptional. She is so helpful and offers lots of information and recommendations. As it's a small site and most people appear to stay in Pompeii for day trips it felt like we were in our own villa. Would highly recommend a stay here.
