Checking in was easy. Instructions were clear and questions were answered understandably and perfectly. Our room was beautiful, it exceeded our expection: The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the view from the balcony was truly beautiful. Breakfast was amazing, the staff was very friendly and always ready for help. Definitely booking again.

There was an error when the staff wanted to show us our room during the check-in. We were lead to a room in the third floor, staff realized the error and asked us to wait in the lobby and 20 minutes later we were lead to our actual room. Error happen, so that is not a problem. It's also nothing we didn't like, we were just tired and wanted to rest a liitle in our rooms as soon as we coud.

A beautifully restored palazzo which has been turned into a small boutique hotel full of character. It is in a narrow pedestrianized street in the old centre of Sorrento very close to Piazza Tasso, the main square. Although ţhe street is very busy the rooms are well soundproofed and it was very peaceful. Breakfast is buffet style but excellent, particularly the fresh fruit and pastries..... The staff were friendly and helpful and the family owners were always on hand.

Nothing - except for us old people, there is one flight of stairs before there is a lift to the upper floors. However this is only to be expected in an old building and did not detract from the enjoyment of staying there

Fabulous location right in the heart of Sorrento on a pedestrian only street, bustling with stores and full of history.

While our room was quite special, large, comfortable, charming, with some beautiful detail and a small balcony, the shower was very small and difficult for a bigger person to use. Getting to the room meant walking up the stone stairs — fine for many, but difficult if you have mobility issues. There is a small elevator that has been retro-fitted into this 18th century palazzo; but if you are claustrophobic, it’s a bit scary and it got stuck for a few minutes while we were on it our last night.

The location is fantastic...right in the middle of the main tourist and shopping area. The breakfast is decent and the staff are pleasant.

The rooms in the eaves are extremely disappointing and wildly expensive for the level of accommodation and service provided. Showers on the top floor are disastrous in design and water pressure is non existent. And reception staff (and mother!) should be careful when dissing residents in Italian...some of us can understand!

The hotel is well positioned in the heart of Sorrento. The room was spacious and comfortable and very nicely decorated. We enjoyed the pet turtles on the terrace. Breakfast was fabulous on 3 days but Sunday seemed to be left-overs from the day before. A bit disappointing at this price.

The bathroom was not very clean - mold in shower and jacuzzi when turned on had a nasty smell and very dirty water coming through the jets. Unfortunately I only tried to use the jacuzzi on our last evening so didnt get a chance to get it cleaned. Mold on grout in shower cubicle that should have been cleaned easily with a brush and some bleach. Mold and slime behind the faucet. No drinking water supplied in the room The air-conditioning is dated and difficult to regulate- it was either freezing or off.

The location of he hotel was perfect for us, directly off a bustling lane, just off the main square, straight into a very calm court yard. Our room was on the (3rd) top floor with views over the roof tops, sea & Mount Vesuvius. Our room was ample with a small terrace, a comfortable bed, and adequate storage. Despite being in the centre of Sorrento our room was very quite and we could mainly hear bird song. Super selection of foods for breakfast in a beautiful high ceiling room, beautifully decorated.

Bathroom at little tired, but not a deal breaker.

Lovely accomodation in the heart of the old town.The. grand building and its origins has an interesting history. A bit tricky to get to as the hotel is in the pedestrian area and we had a car, and heavy luggage but the staff were most helpful in getting our luggage and advising which car park was the best value for money. Breakfast was in the most beautiful room with ceiling frescoes and it was simply delicious. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

The breakfast was amazing, the room was bigger than expected, and the location was fantastic. Situated right in the heart of Sorrento within easy walking distance of everything. Although it's in a very lively location, we didn't find it to be noisy at all. Loved the spa bath in the bathroom which was so much appreciated for our aching bodies and feet after 10 days of intense walking around Italy. My daughter left her glasses behind, and the hotel were fantastic with making sure they were returned to us in Australia as soon as possible.

The area right outside our room felt a little untidy, and there were live turtles right outside our door in boxes. They were very cute, but there was definitely an odour from them. It had a family run feel to it which made it unique though. Everything else was faultless though. Expect the unexpected in Italy!

It's a very nice hotel and the staff is wonderful. The breakfast room is beautiful and the breakfast is terrific.

Please note if you are the least bit handicapped you might not be able to get in the shower. I was not able because my legs were bothering me. Also it is very noisy with music from below and just general pedestrian noise. Bring earplugs.

Fantastic location. The hotel is in the historic centre. Only a few. minutes from the train station and about a 15 minute walk from the port. Good sized room with comfy bed and good, quiet air conditioning. Friendly and helpful staff. Host even called our ferry company before we left to make sure there was no disruption due to bad weather. Breakfast was provided in beautiful surroundings and we were given an excellent range of different foods to choose from. I will definitely stay here again. Can't fault it.

There was nothing I didn'tike. Some reviews mention noise from the street, but everything goes quiet at 11. Not bothered by noise at all.
