Location is perfect. At the beginning of shopping street - near many shops and restaurants. Within 10 minutes by foot to port and train station, making day trips to Almafi Coast , Capri, Pompeii easy. The lady at reception was friendly and she gave us good dinner restaurant recommendations. Room and toilet were clean and quite new. Bed was firm and comfortable.

Can hear car sirens and some street noise when we open the window. But once window was closed, sound proofing was good and cannot hear the noises from street anymore. This is not actually a hotel as there is no faciliities available onsite. It's more like an airbnb that provides daily cleaning and a reception desk that operates during working hours. If you just need a room with clean bed and hot water, this place is perfect.

This was a wonderful location on the Main Street lined with restaurants and shops (no cars just pedestrians). The property was in a secured building and we enjoyed the space of our family suite. The air conditioning was great, shower was nice and hot and the balconies looked to the beautiful town. There were countless restaurants surrounding us. I would have loved if there was a top 10 list for food.

I wish there was laundry services that could have collected and dropped off to us rather than a local laundromat.

This hotel was about a 10min walk from the Train Station in Sorrento, right in Piazza Tasso which was perfect location for us. The little balcony looked out to Corso Italia which has many restaurants and shops. We stayed in early March 2025, so not heavy tourist season, many shops and restaurants not open yet. Not sure if this location would be noisy with nightlife in peak tourist season? Our room was set up with 1 queen + 2 single beds which was perfect for our family. The room was cozy and clean, the wifi worked well, there was a little table and chairs where we had breakfast each morning (from the local cafes and bakeries of which there were plenty closeby). The hotel was about a 10min walk to the Marina Piccola (where you can catch a ferry to Capri, Naples, or down the Amalfi Coast), about a 10min walk to the Train Station (where you can catch a train to Naples or SITA bus down the coast). So many restaurants, cafes, shops, bakeries and amenities close by. The staff working at the desk were friendly and helpful.

We stayed in this hotel for 5nights and it would've been handy if they had a washing machine onsite. We did find a laundromat about a 10min walk down the street.

The room was amazingly, unique and quaint and stylish. It’s had great boutique / personal vibe that felt like where we were staying. Amazing view of the main square from one window with beautiful wooden shutters - like something from a movie. The room was exceptionally clean and the staff were so so helpful and friendly and accommodating, willing to help with anything you may need to make your stay more pleasurable.

The only one thing I could possibly say as a negative was the view from one window was a little poor (but more than made up for by the other one!!). And my partner found the hairdryer to be very weak and took ages to dry her hair. Other than that I would say it was perfect.

It was an unforgettable experience. We booked two rooms—one for my sister and another for my mother and me. Both rooms were exceptionally spacious with large, comfortable beds, which is a luxury in Italy! The elegance of La Casa dell'Orologio cannot be overstated; it blends classic Italian charm with modern amenities, making each stay delightful. Our room offered a stunning view of Piazza Tasso, adding to the enchantment of our visit. The presence of an elevator was an added convenience, often a rare find in such beautifully preserved properties. Our place in Rome had 4 flights of stairs, goodness! We were so charmed by our stay that we wanted to extend it, but unfortunately, they were fully booked. This only speaks to the popularity and appeal of this place. I have absolutely no criticisms of this place. It's easily one of the best accommodations I've experienced in Italy so far. I look forward to returning to La Casa dell'Orologio again and again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sorrento! Gotta add that the manager was a very pleasant and helpful person!

Location was perfection. 6 minute walk from train station, 10 minutes to the port, food and shopping all around. Our room was spectacular overlooking the main square and the staff were so kind and accommodating. Beautiful property. The AC worked well for Italy standards and kept us nice and cool at night. The restaurant directly below the hotel was a little noisy, but that didn’t bother us one bit. To us it was just background noise and in some ways comforting.

Fabulous central location. Great room, spacious and with a large balcony with portable drying rack, fridge, kettle (with tea bags, cups and spoons), coffee machine at reception (1 euro). Lift was great as it was 3rd floor. Great communication. We had a car so they organised drop off and pick up in the square like valet parking

You pay the price for a brilliant location

Excellent location right off the main square. Could not beat the convenience--just walked out the door to the main square, restaurants, and shops. Absolutely the most clean place that we have ever stayed at! It was spotless! Beds were comfortable, water pressure in shower was wonderful, and the AC unit worked great. Was very quiet even with the location right off the square. The views from the small balcony were wonderful. Recommend making sure you let staff know what time you are planning on arriving so that someone is there to meet you and get you into your room. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

More chairs or benches to sit on since there really is not a place to sit in the main room where the pull out bed is.

Beds were a little too stiff. And the location is great, only downside is he restaurant directly downstairs. While we were there, they had one evening that was loud till pretty late with its music and people. We don't mind people having fu,n but since it was directly under our room, it made it difficult to fall asleep.

Absolutely outstanding location, right in the centre of town so lots of fab views. Was super convenient for shopping and places to eat. Only a short walk down to the beach as well. Guilia was so helpful and even accommodated us for another night when we wanted to extend our stay. Rooms were lovely and spacious and we had heaps of room even with 2 XL bags. Would absolutely visit again and highly recommend.
