It felt comfortable,like coming home after you've been out for a while.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable. It’s less than a 10-minute walk from the train station, just a minute’s stroll to the bustling Piazza Tasso, and right in front of a convenient taxi rank. Plus, the port is only a short downhill walk away, making it easy to explore the area. The hotel itself is gorgeous, immaculately clean, and well-maintained. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot July weather, keeping our room nice and cool. Our room was overlooking the street but any street noise was blocked by the soundproof windows and shutters. The breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety of options to start the day. We stayed in a triple room, and all three of us found the beds to be incredibly comfortable. Overall, a wonderful stay that exceeded our expectations!

Sorrento is pricey and this hotel is no exception. But considering the market, it’s worth the price. The triple room was small, but adequate. The room also lacked storage, but was fine for our short stay.

The hotel is conveniently located. It’s an easy walk from the train station, and it is across the street from a popular meeting spot for the departure and return of many tours. In addition, it is the center of the city and generally convenient to all the activities and other popular meeting points.

The city of Sorrento is a departure point for many regional tours, some good some not so good. Read customer reviews carefully to know which is which. And when you come to Sorrento, bring plenty of Euros with you. Most of the ATMs here are run by EuroNet which will charge 20 to 25% hidden in an unreasonable exchange rate. These are not bank ATMs . Taxis must be paid in cash. And then there there is tipping, an abominable practice from American Jim Crow culture that has made inroads here. Nonetheless, tipping is “a thing“ in Sorento and you will be asked to tip for nearly every service.

We were a group of five friends staying for three nights. The hotel is spotless and our rooms had a juliet balcony. Breakfast was lovely. It's self-service with a choice of juices, cereals, yoghurts, fruit, cheese, meats, scrambled eggs, and bacon. Our only complaint was that the coffee and tea were cold every day. Maybe that's the Italian way. The location was perfect for us. It's right next to Piazza Tasso and the old town. There are lots of nice restaurants close by. We all agreed we would definitely come back again to Hotel Villa Di Sorrento.

Location location location. Hotel Villa di Sorrento has it. It's just off Piazza Tasso which is the central square in Sorrento. But our room on the third floor was well sound proofed so we weren't disturbed by any street noise. Breakfast was served buffet style at precisely 7.40am until 10.10am :) Plenty of everything, good variety including a hot option of streaky bacon and eggs, fresh croissants and lots of cake.

If I was being picky., the shower is dated and the floor quite slippy. But it worked fine.

Novella recommended Parrucchiano restaurant which was fantastic setting & food. Breakfast was very good with friendly staff. Hotel manager was very helpful & attentive. Great location o beaches & dining.

A/C was not great. You have to remove room key which is normal thru-out Europe but turns everything off. Room was sweltering hot upon return. Took 3-4 hours to cool down making harder to fall asleep. Day 2 I propped door open as opened windows for 5 minutes to try & create a draft to get heat out so a/c would work quicker Very, very slippery bath & shower floors. BE CAREFUL. They gave us a shower floor mat which greatly helped.

Proximity to center, train station, and bus transit. The hotel is spotless and the staff welcoming.

I observed a bit of a problem with the nice breakfast. When early there was a good selection. Later the proteins are not replenished, so it’s yogurt and toast, with a bit of fruit or cereal. I also observed one gentleman who arrived early, stack 2 plates with the protein options, essentially wiping out the entire proteins for the remainder of the guests.

This property is in the heart of Sorrento with shops, restaurants, bus, train and ferry all within easy walking distance. The rooms are large, well equipped and immaculately clean. Our room had a small balcony with a view to the Piazza. We found the staff very helpful and friendly and the breakfast had a great variety of choices.

We loved our stay. The location was excellent, just 2 mins by taxi or a 8min walk from both the train station or if you get the ferry from the port.The views from our balcony were beautiful. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. This hotel had all amenities such as tea /coffee making facilities in the room, it had the best hairdryer I have ever used in any hotel no need to bring one with you if you are staying here .The mini bar was well stocked and house keeping was excellent. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We asked could they organise a tour for us for the next day and it was no problem, Nicholi was so helpful. A big thank to him. The tour bus collected us right outside our hotel and we had an amazing tour with Andre to amalfi and positano. When we were leaving they stored our bags for us most of the day and the taxis park right outside the front door of the hotel so convenient. A big thank you to the staff of this beautiful hotel. We will certainly stay here again.

the location was wonderful. The gave helpful recommendations for where to eat and things to do during our stay. Again the location could not have been better.

I would recommend the hotel leaving free water in the room and not charging you for that. The staff were helpful but not overly friendly. They will arrange travel for you but we found it was easy enough to arrange ourselves.
