Everything. The owner, Vera, was very friendly and helpful. The bedroom and ensuite bathroom were very spacious and beautifully decorated in contemporary style. The bed was large and very comfortable and there were complimentary snacks in the room. Breakfast was plentiful and included tasty homemade items. The position of the property was excellent. It is approached via a security gate directly off the main shopping thoroughfare but once inside the apartment block there is no noise whatsoever. Helpfully, there is a bakery/ cafe immediately outside the gate and this was a great place to purchase a picnic or snack.

Il Giardino Segreto was a wonderful place to stay. Vera, the host, made us so welcome, provided us with a lovely breakfast every morning and organised a taxi to Pompeii for us when we discovered that a train strike had put a spanner in the works. The location is fabulous - literally a 30 second walk to the central piazza in Sorrento (Piazza Tasso) - and an easy 5 minute walk to the station. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Nothing! If I'm really pushed to find something, the steps up to the property nearly killed us after dragging our luggage from the station, but we knew about them and the property is on the second floor, so there's not a lot you can do. Other than that, honestly nothing!

Vera and Antonio are wonderful hosts! This B&B was exceptionally charming. The location is perfectly situated near Piazza Tasso yet it is very quiet. The room was exactly as depicted in the photos and was cleaned and refreshed every day. Breakfast was served each morning with Antonio’s freshly baked brioche and Vera’s homemade jams along with pancakes or other breakfast requests you might have. Vera provided excellent recommendations for sights to see and places to eat as well as transportation information. All of this contributed to an amazing stay in Sorrento. We will definitely return and would not hesitate to stay here again.

We would give this property a 100 rating if we could but unfortunately we have to settle for a 10! We stayed 3 nights in beautuful Sorrento and couldn’t have picked a better place & location. The air conditioner was very efficient and the bathroom’s modern. But most of all, the host Vera was amazing in providing the best home cooked breakfast from pancakes to cakes (from scratch), eggs cooked to order and her homemade brioche buns always served fresh & hot. She provided beach towels, assisted with obtaining a taxi for our very large group and anything else we needed to make our stay wonderful.

This is a beautiful apartment right in the middle of town, but still in a very private and quiet location because it is behind a gate and large courtyard. The room is the perfect size for a family of four, and the hosts could not have been kinder. Breakfast is included with your stay, and is delicious! It is an easy walk to the port. Refreshing air conditioning if the day is hot, and a very nice, modern bathroom. Beds firm (good for my back!) and we all slept well for the first time since leaving home, we were so jet lagged, we really needed it.Thank you!

Nothing, it's great. If anything I thought the room would be smaller when I saw the photos online, but it is actually a very generous size so I was pleasantly surprised

During my trip to Italy my mother and I visited Sorrento and stayed at Vera's lovely apartment style home. It was comfortable, colorful and wonderful with all the comforts of home and more! She would prepare a freshly made breakfast for us each morning to our exact tastes and requests. She gave us wonderful recommendations for places to visit and eat that were wonderful and delicious! I would definitely stay there again and could not recommendation her more! Thank you so much, Vera!!

Il Giardino Segreto ,while on the main street of Sorrento is hidden beyond a lovely gate leading to the stairs which take you into a little paradise. Antonio was very helpful in assisting us to carry our very heavy baggage up the stairs and Vera is an absolute gem even making pancakes at breakfast as well as eggs and the delicious Italian sweet pastries. She was also so helpful in telling us about all the restaurants we could choose from.

We had such a great experience staying in this apartment!Location was perfect! Walking distance to all major attractions and 10 min walk to Marina Picolo where you can take a ferry to Capri or Amalfi coast . The room was very contemporary!But the most exciting thing was the breakfast that Vera makes you every morning!Her fresh made brioche was delicious!You can’t stop eating it!!!She also makes you pancakes,omelet,fresh fruit,juice,coffee!She is very friendly and hospitable!We would definitely come back and highly recommend to stay in this place! You will not regret it .

The only thing I don't like that this place is only 4 stars . It should definitely be a 5 stars .

This little "secret garden" is Vera and Antonino's gift to everyone who visits them. Homemade Brioche, jams, marmalade and jellies, a cappuccino my caffeine loving husband enjoyed thoroughly and all the great information they shared was incredible. We visited on Good Friday when their annual passion procession happened and Vera enabled us to be in a room overlooking the square so we could observe it! What a special gift that was. If you are traveling and want to get spoiled, treated like family and given every consideration for comfort, this is the place to stay! We will never forget our special time in Sorrento! Thank you both again!! (It was worth every one of the steps to get to this little slice of heaven!)

The property is very clean and in a central Location to walk everywhere. The room was beautiful with a very comfortable bed and a beautiful private terrace to sit right outside the door. There are restaurants nearby along with the main square and it is close to the train station within a 5 min walk. The host was lovely and friendly with good suggestions of what to see and do in the area and the breakfasts were wonderful!
