fantastic location right on Piazza Tasso. Being able to enter directly from the Corso Italia is luxurious. Salvatore was very kind and helpful. Breakfast is served 8-10, this was too late for us on most of our days so they gave us yogurts for pre-breakfast in the little fridge. The bed is very comfortable. The A/C is great, especially since it keeps working after you remove the keycard from the socket so the room is nice and cool when you get back.

The shower is long but narrow, it was too tight for me and was uncomfortable. The water pressure in the shower is low. (at least in room no.1)

Right in the centre of everything in Sorrento. Perfect location for ferry and train, less than 10 mins walk to each. Busy streets both sides of the property - open the windows and you can hear everything going on so you feel like you are in the heart of Sorrento, once you close the windows absolute silence! The property was spotlessly clean, comfortable and secure in a gorgeous old building. The room was modern with great AC and everything you need . We had a warm welcome with great advice for restaurants and travel, we will stay here again and highly recommend it.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The rooms were good and clean with all necessary elements. Salvatore - our host is an amazing person. Very cooperative and always ready to assist in whatever we needed. He was constantly on chat with me guiding me how to reach the apartment. We were supposed to leave for Amalfi at 8 am and though the breakfast timings are from 8am to 10 am, he made sure to pack some items along with juices and fruits for our journey. His hospitality was something which is rarely found nowadays. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay and experience.

It was truly more than we expected! The hotel has an amazing location and the staff was absolutely lovely. We loved walking down the little streets right behind the hotel, filled with charming shops. There’s also a restaurant right in front of the hotel with surprisingly good prices.

The only downside was the journey to get there. Traveling by train wasn’t a pleasant experience. Naples’ train station felt very unpleasant, and unfortunately, the staff there laughed at us when we asked for help. Next time, we’ll definitely book a private transfer to Sorrento instead.

The location was amazing , very close to amenities bars and restaurants. It has a wonderful view of the plaza which is full of people and yet is so quiet and relaxing when you close the window for a retreat. The owner Salvatore was a great host , he provided us with detailed information about how to get to the hotel, points of interest in Sorento etc. The breakfast was typical Italian breakfast cappuccino croissant 🥐 juice and of course you had other options to choose from too. The room was a good size one for us.

Top notch hospitality. Among all of my stays in Italy, Salvatore was the only one who reached out to me first even days before the check-in and constantly communicated with me. Very responsive for anything I inquired about day and night even during my own timezone. Location is excellent (across Harmont and Blaine store) - we passed by it everywhere we went in Sorrento. It’s located on Piazza Tasso - Walking distance to the train station, bus station, port and mostly everywhere you’re going to see in Sorrento. Might get noisy during festivals or at night during parties. Breakfast was great too. Not a lot of rooms so breakfast area was relaxing and quiet. We had croissants, meats, bread, pastries, cereals, fruits, toasts and jams - all served personally for you. Plenty of drink options too. Room was a good size for 2 people, 2 opened suitcases (1 large and 1 small).

Great location right in the middle of plaza Tasso. Very good value for money. This is a b&b though not a hotel so there won’t always be someone on reception. Beds were comfy & room was good but we didn’t have a room with a view so not sure if other rooms do. Breakfast was simple but good. Croissants /bread/yoghurts/jans/hams /cheeses. Staff were very helpful.

You can hear breakfast being prepared at 6:30 from room 4 so we were woken up early both days. Bit of a trek from the harbour so get the bus to the square or a taxi.

What an amazing stay at B&B Madison D’Art in Sorrento. Location: This B&B is right on Piazza Tasso and therefore has one of the best locations to stay. We used Sorrento as our launchpad for trips to Naples, Capri, Amalfi, and Pompei and the hotel was walking distance from both the train station and the marina. Rooms: Our rooms were clean and spacious. The rooms have excellent sound proofing so even though the B&B is right on Piazza Tasso, we couldn’t hear anything inside. Service: Excellent and friendly service. Our host was regularly in touch with us on WhatsApp and provided very clear instructions on how to arrive, park etc. He also provided us many helpful suggestions on trips and itinerary Breakfast: Breakfast was acceptable. Nothing fancy but exactly what we needed for a quick morning breakfast. All in all, you cannot go wrong with this B&B. Highly recommend this place in Sorrento

The location is superb. Julia and Salvatore went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The communication with them was just enough to feel like I was home and in Italy. I’m originally from Brazil but live in north America for years now. The rooms are not luxurious but very comfortable and near everything. Being greeted with a smile and a delicious cappuccino every morning was just a joy. If you are accustomed with the big hotels in the USA this is not like that. This was an old residential building with very large apartments that got kind of turned into a boutique hotel the floor we were in had about four suites I think. There is a room as soon as you get in to the apartment that is kind of like a lobby with a desk than a larger room like a living room where you can sit and enjoy being in Sorrento and in the morning part of that large room becomes a breakfast area. There is also a kitchen where they prepare the breakfast every morning. With fresh fruits, bread, cereal, yogurt, cold cuts and cheeses, fresh juice, jam and of course coffee. I felt safe in the area and is near everything with shops and great restaurant choices.

It wasn’t a problem for us but most buildings in Italy have climate control inside the apartments but not as you first enter the building like the stairwell and elevators so it can feel hotter for a minute or two before you get inside your apartment If you travel in the summer. Every time I walked inside the building I thought I was going to faint LOL. You have to understand that even though these buildings look remodeled and in good shape bust most of them are over a 100 years old.

Location is absolutely fantastic! You can over look the square from the lounge and our balcony. Making it a wonderful experience, especially at Christmas time. The staff were great too, suggesting a fantastic local guide for Pompeii, which we hired and she was fantastic. Communication was great too, with easy and clear instructions for our arrival.

Nothing really. Apart from the extra bed. We requested an extra bed, which was kindly provided but it wasn't comfortable. Just a 'put up. Definitely not suitable for a decent night sleep.
