This hotel was outstanding for our 4-night stay. We were in Italy for 18 nights in 7 different hotels and this one was by far the best. The rooms are clean and comfortable with the best bed and pillows of the entire trip. The view was fantastic and the staff, from Antonella the owner who sent a bottle of wine for a birthday, to Silvia and Luisa at the front desk, Franco at breakfast and the pool, and Natalino who drove us in the shuttle all over the island!! They assured we had transportation everywhere we needed to go for the wedding we were attending over the weekend there. We would return to this hotel ANY TIME we come back to Annacapri.

Nothing everything was absolutely perfect!!!!

My wife and I spent 3 nights there as part of our Amalfi Coast honeymoon. The views, the kindness and friendliness of all the staff, the cocktails by the pool, everything was simply amazing! We even were gifted a rose petal turndown in our room which was a lovely gesture! We loved the location as we wanted to stay a bit further away from the hustle and bustle of Capri, while also being close enough to visit it, and this was the perfect area for that! Be sure to ask at the front desk to book a table at Da Gelsomina during your stay. The views and food there are out of this world!

The staff was incredible. The entire hotel was very clean and smelt great! We were on our honeymoon and our room was decorated to welcome us. Every morning when we went to get our complimentary breakfast we talked to the front desk about our plans for the day. They ordered our vespa we rented for the day, they made reservations for us, they called taxis, they were amazing. Our whole day set and planned within minutes by a well experienced and friendly staff. Cannot say enough about this property!

My wife and I visited Capri for our tenth wedding anniversary. Our stay at the Orsa Maggiore was amazing! The entire staff were so nice and helpful, routinely helping us make wonderful restaurant reservations, planning day trips, and otherwise ensuring we loved our stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable; the pool amazing and relaxing; and the location in Anacapri very relaxing. We cannot recommend the Orsa Maggiore enough!

Wifi could be better.

Albergo Orsa Maggiore was an absolute dream. I cannot think of anywhere more perfect for our honeymoon. My husband & I were welcomed more warmly than I’ve been welcomed anywhere. Every little need we had, they bent over backwards for. We are people who have previously worked in the service industry and don’t like asking people for things. We like to make it easier on them and they wouldn’t have it. They were so beyond accommodating. Silvia was beyond lovely and I unfortunately did not get the names of the 3 other gentlemen that did so much for us throughout our stay. a younger gentlemen and older gentleman served us at the pool and in our rooms and another gentleman coordinated all of the shuttle pick ups, drop offs, etc. they could not have made anything easier on us. my only regret is that we were not very awake and were rushing the morning we left and didn’t get the chance to leave a tip. please contact me, if possible, so that we can extend tips for our wonderful service. I couldn’t think of one thing I didn’t like. it was perfection.

Orsa Maggiore is probably the best boutique hotel I've stayed at! The service is impeccable, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They go the extra mile to ensure that your stay is perfect. It just feels like they've thought of every little detail. The hotel facilities are great, the pool is very nice and the restaurant is very good. They offer a shuttle service for ferry pick up and drop offs, but if the driver is free they don't mind doing drop offs to Anacapri and Capri town - which is great. The room is also quite spacious, especially for European standards. Overall highly recommended!

The only downfall I would say is the location is not as central as I would have liked. Its about a 15 minute walk from Anacapri town and around 15 minutes or so by taxi to Capri town (around 30 Euro). Taking a bus is also an option, although we didn't try to. The bus stop is right outside the hotel. As I mentioned also, if the hotel driver is free you can always catch a ride with him. Another thing that could be improved is the wifi signal inside the rooms. The signal in my room was a little weak, I had to sit in the lobby to get optimal signal for a video call.

In one word, staff. Absolutely incredible experience from everyone involved with the venue. Family run business with just the nicest Italian people (capri can only provide this) honestly hands down the best Italian holiday we have had to date. Definitely will be returning to this little peace of paradise.

Nothing would be the first word that came to mind. However the lack of an evening restaurant when the hotel is situated in such Beautiful place is the only criticism that comes to mind. However the food was excellent at the pool, and the zucchini penne at the pool was the best I could find on the island (after trying many many options)😊

The staff were such friendly and amazing people. They really made the stay feel special and comfortable. The fact that they offer free pickup and drop off to the Marina when you arrive by ferry is a huge plus. We didn’t have to think about any logistics getting off the ferry (taxis are expensive). The pool was great and their location in anacapri made seeing all the beaches super easy (faro and blue grotto). The hotel staff helped us rent a scooter for our stay which allowed us to get around easily. If you don’t want to do that, they were offering free rides to downtown anacapri where you can take a bus to other destinations from there. Also the breakfast was amazing each morning!

The food/drinks were expensive but it’s like that everywhere on the island. We had lunch by the pool one day and the service/quality of food was well worth it.

Absolutely stunning location. The photos do not do it justice, we arrived and had to pinch ourselves as it seemed unbelievable. The staff at Orsa Maggiore went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable, booking us a scooter (highly recommended) and offering to help and accommodate all needs during our stay. The food was some of the best Italian we’d eaten on our trip across the country. Sitting by the pool eating their amazing cuisine and enjoying the company of the amazing staff was the absolute best. Very sad to leave.

A lovely fresh and modern design with delightful decor and attention to detail. The property is well designed and while modern is in keeping with the environment. The staff were fantastic all friendly and keen to help. It is flat family owned hotel and you feel like their guests. They offer a complimentary shuttle service from the port and to local restaurants. They helped us book a couple of restaurants which we loved. A lovely experience and highly recommended
