There was lots of positives with this accommodation. The breakfast was fresh & plentiful, the room was super clean & the mattress I could have taken home with me. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the roof terrace drinking a bottle of wine in what felt like paradise. Salvatore gave us all the local insights we could ever need.

It was a little walk from the main bus station, but you would not get the amazing peace & tranquillity without it. It was a real taste of local life in the area.

The views are unbelievable. The sunset views are second to none. The host Salvatore is an extremely nice guy and very helpful with anything he can be. The breakfast is lovely and fresh served by Salvatore himself each morning. The rooms are fresh, bright and airy. The beds are comfortable too.

The walk from the bus terminus with the luggage, but it's well worth the walk when you arrive and see the views and the property.

Great location, great host (very informative and switched on, a good linguist too) Nice breakfast and even went beyond and helped us with our power adaptor issues. Maybe a small thing but it was greatly appreciated. Great value for money on what can be an expensive island.

Maybe some people wont enjoy getting to the property. Involves a bus or taxi to Capolinea Bus Station then a bit of a walk. For us it was fine though. We took a taxi first time from the marina as it was super busy but after that public transport was great.

Salvatore's kindness. He really took the time to check in and be with the guests as well as explaining what to do on the island and giving recommendations of places to visit and eat. The rooms were very good, they had everything you need. The breakfast was varied and you can have breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea. There is nothing bad to say about this accommodation.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Casa Astra. The room, bathroom and the location itself are super clean and very cozy. The owner, Salvatore is very kind, helpful and a true host. He took the time to explain everything about the island which was very helpful. The breakfast is very delicious and we enjoyed having breakfast in the garden. I normally don’t like hotel breakfasts but at casa astra it’s very fresh and delicious. We recommend every one who is interested in visiting Capri to stay at Casa Astra. The B&B is very close to the historical centre of Anacapri (20 min. walk), close to the bus terminal that takes you practically to every corner of the island. Nothing. Everything was superb

Our four-night stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. The owner's personal care and attention made our experience exceptional. He warmly welcomed us, offering valuable insights about the island's attractions. The room was immaculate, new, and incredibly comfortable, with a mesmerizing view from the shared spot. The delicious breakfast was a delightful touch, rounding off a perfect stay. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable island getaway.

One notable inconvenience was its distance from the island's main attractions and the bus stop. Guests should be prepared for a lengthy walk, especially if they have heavy luggage, as it takes approximately 20 minutes along a road with slight ups and downs.

Beautiful location, Salvatore is a fabulous host, could not do enough. It is an approximately a 12 minute walk to the bus stop, however manageable if you’re able for the walking. Fabulous swimming spot recommended by Salvatore - lido del faro (not too far from accommodation by bus, also not too busy & not full of tourist). Overall highly recommend!

The property was newly renovated, and the room was the perfect size for my daughter and I! The view was incredible, and it was 10 minutes away from a bus stop that took you anywhere needed on the island! Salvatore was FANTASTIC! He took every measure to make sure we had the perfect stay. Always trust his recommendations of things to do around the island, he knows it so well, and everything he suggested was spot on! If we ever have the pleasure of coming back to Anacapri, we would stay at Casa Astra again for sure!

It's a brand new house. Super clean and organized . The host prepares very sweet and nice breakfast buffet in the kitchen, and we could have it on the terrace with a beautiful sea view. From the bus(taxi) station you need walk about 10 minutes in a nice and peaceful little path , quiet and relaxing . The host was very helpful and he gives us all the information of the island, the private boat tour which he introduced also was super nice , all our stay was smooth and comfortable, definitely will go back again!

Great view from the terrace with beautiful sunsets. Delicious breakfasts including more than a typical italian breakfast. And the most important - Salvatore - the host who was probably the best host that I ever had. He is so much dedicated to his work that literally anticipates needs of his guests before they even get aware of what they want. It was a pure pleasure to stay in this place.
