Lovely location – Great staff (with one exception) We had a wonderful stay overall — the location is lovely, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. However, we were very disappointed with the behavior of one staff member, Christian. His conduct toward one of our female friends was unprofessional and made us uncomfortable. Initially wearing a wedding ring, he later removed it and began making unwelcome gestures and advances toward her. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and put a damper on an otherwise enjoyable experience.

Fantastic location on waterfront. Stunning views across to Naples and Vesuvius. Wonderful welcome by staff who were so attentive during our stay. Rooms fresh and clean with nice decor. Being able to sit outdoors on balcony a bonus. Excellent secure parking. Easy access to train for Pompeii visit door to door service provided. Ferry to Positano and Amalfi literally 5 mins walk on wharf. Beach stunning with access to beach club across road. Plenty of restaurants. Great place to stay if wanting Amalfi experience without crowds.

Bar across the road noisy with music playing. Rooms well insulated with double glazed windows so once closed was not too noticeable.

I lived the location of the hotel, close to the beach and their pool. Was happy that we were able to park the car free of charge in a private parking area close to the hotel. The decor of the hotel was very nicely done and their breakfast buffet was to die for. We had dinner at their restaurants and it was the best dinner we had as we watched the sunset.

The only thing that didn’t meet my expectations was the very very small shower with a shower curtain in Room 3. Since I booked at the last minute that was the only room left but the shower is extremely small and I’m a petite woman.

The location of the property was top drawer, breakfast al fresco on a lovely veranda, unrushed and plenty of options to suit all taste buds. Loved our relaxed breakfast times, well prepared and presented. A courtesy mini bus (pre-booked) was available to take you to the town and return journey possible too. The staff were so helpful and pleasant - particular mention must go to Giulia and Rossella - they were both excellent, as front of house, sorting out trips, transfers, courtesy buses, taxis, recommending restuarants amongst their 'normal' duties. A credit to themselves and the hotel. The Wellness centre and area was such a lovely place to relax and enjoy - the beach area was a good option too - a good relaxed atmosphere and towels provided for both areas a bonus!

There is nothing we didn't like, my only comment would be to perhaps state the town centre is walkable - providing you are fit and you can manage a steep climb via plenty of steps.

Lovely small hotel with friendly staff, away from the busier hotel next door which you share facilites with, those facilities were excellent, breakfast was nice, great view over the marina towards Mt Vesuvius

nothing, we liked it all and cant think of anything to put down that we think should be different. We would come back.

Sitting on Le Ancore's balcony, having a glass of red wine and/or spritz, looking at Mount Vesuvius, and being breeze-kissed by the Vesuvian Sea is a transcendental experience. The accommodation is excellent, based in the remote village of Vice Equense, a great place to relax and let yourself flow with the astonishing scenario. The staff was superb, and extremely helpful (Especially Ana, who took care of all our minor challenges and made us feel at home). Make sure to look at the map before booking though because it's not in Sorrento and having a car is a must if you want to travel around. We went in Winter but I suppose that in Summer/Spring, you can just relax at the private beach. Unforgetable.

The staff was amazing! Guila was so helpful, and took excellent care of us. The location and facilities were amazing all on their own, but the hospitality from the staff is really what took our stay to the next level.

The nightlife outside was very fun until bed time - the music and restaurants are pretty loud and go fairly late. Didn't have an issue with ear plugs, though.

The location of the room with a balcony facing the harbor with a virw of Mt Vesuvius was heavenly. The amazing staff were happy to provide anything we wanted, and they were super friendly. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options and perfect cappuccinos. Afternoon bites with our drinks were yummy. Anna was the sweetest!

The bed was a bit firm for us. The shower in our room was small and triangular with a curtain. It was difficult to shower, and the floor was flooded after showering. I didn't have a choice as it was the last room available when I booked my room.

Breakfast at the hotel was sometimes cold and not alway replenished. We did eat breakfast over at the larger hotel a few time and found this to be more organised. This was one of the only things that we felt needed a little more thought put into it for English people

We were very happy with everything apart from some improvements to breakfast and being able to eat lunch/dinner at this hotel

The complimentary breakfast was delicious each day we were there! The pastries were always fresh made, We had a cappuccino every morning! We ended up coming down with the flu on our trip and the hotel staff, Giulia, Dario, Giacoieo, Peppe, and Maria took AMAZING CARE OF US! I cannot say enough about the care we received! They called a doctor for us to come treat us at our hotel room, they even went to the pharmacy to pick up our medication for us, and also picking us up extra liquids to make sure we stayed hydrated. Sending us breakfast to our room with a hand written note saying “we hope you feel better!” They all exceeded our expectations and treated us with so much kindness. Getting sick on vacation is never fun, but they certainly made our trip so much better with their generosity and kindness. Thank you for everything! We highly recommend Le Ancore to anyone visiting Italy!

Wouldn’t change a thing, we loved everything!
