Location of this hotel is ideal. Close to shops and various restaurants and at the same time has it's own beach. The beach is just amazing. Clean and divided in two parts. One part with umbrellas & restaurants for glamour lovers, and the other is a natural beach for nature lovers (I am one of them). Breakfast is good and croissants are super delicious. In addition to standard selection, it is possible to order freshly cooked additions. Staff is friendly and very helpful. They do whatever is possible to make you feel comfortable in this hotel. I have spent amazing 4 days in this hotel and wish to come back some time in future :)

One of the rooms had a minor issue but I am sure they have improved it by now.

The view from the hotel is amazing. You get to see the sunset every evening. The breakfast was very good with lots of options and fresh fruit. The location i great and restaurants and shops are just minutes away. We found Vico Equense much calmer than for example sorrento. The hotel staff was very nice and welcoming and the room was very clean.

The bar and restaurant closes very early in the evening so you have to go out and eat if you want to have dinner a bit later. The beach also closes very early at 19.00 so swimming in the evening is not possible.

Breakfast was plentiful and the croissants are too good 😋. The dinner was amazing, better than the restaurants outside. The waiters treats you so special esp. Pepe “silver “as he calls himself and Antonio, the head waiter? I hope I got his name right. Everyone is so attentive and accommodating, . I will be recommending this hotel to my friends and family. Best diningexperience for a holiday, I will be back again 😋😍

Shower water in the room could have been stronger

Location was perfection- about 10 minute walk to the train and bus station and four steps from Sorrentowhere you can get the ferries to Capri, Positano and Amalfi. The hotel itself is perched on a cliff with a view facing bay of Naples, Vesuivius mountain and has its own private beach accessed with a private elevator. A short walk from the hotel is great pizza at University of Pizza and Gabriele for deserre, plus many many other restaurants, cafes etx. Also arranged with the hotel to get a private pick up from Naples Train Station at 130 euros whcih was very convenient.

The queu to get in the elevator after swimming at the beach can be quite long depending on the time ans having to pay 8 euros for a chair and towel as guests. Breakfaat is quite mediocre

The hotel is magical. It is located on top of the hill with breathtaking views over the water with an elevator that takes you from the hotel straight to the private beach. The room was basic but very recently renovated (yes rooms may look old in the picture but they are brand new with not even a scratch on the furniture ). The staff are also very helpful and polite in the hotel and the beach. The front beach reaturant was also amazing. Not to mention. Vick Equense is a beautiful town with breath taking views and amazing restaurants( worth to visit) and the hotel is located in the center giving you plenty of options for food and drinks.

housekeeping didnt provide shampoos and body wash when they cleaned the rooms even though the shampoo little bottel was empty

Positives: Fantastic location - perched on top of the cliffs above a private beach with beautiful sunset views from the restaurant across the bay of Napoli. Quite magical. Breakfast was good with nice choice of savory, fruit and sweet. Restaurant staff were really friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was also good. Food was good quality, though pretty expensive (the view is worth it though). The beach was nice enough and if you got down there at 9:00 on the dot before the crowds you can enjoy a quiet swim.

Negatives: The room was meant to be "partial sea view". However that meant you could see the sea if you walked to the end of a long balcony that faced a wall then peered round the corner (room 401). You definitely couldn't see the sea from the room. However, the room was comfortable and cool (helped by the fact that it was tucked away). Small things were missing - no cold water at reception on arrival - after coming in from the baking heat, that would have been a very nice welcome. Also on departure, no-one asked how was the stay. Finally, no water in the rooms and no fridge to keep anything cool.

Location is excellent! 3 minute walk to the main square and so close to the train station making it easy to travel around. But so glad I picked here and away from the madness of other areas on the coast. Views are unbeatable, if you can, book a room with the sea view and a balcony! It is so worth it. Sunsets are incredible!!! Staff in the hotel were so friendly and helpful! Assisted me in booking tours, transfers and taxi’s etc. made everything very easy! So handy having access to the beach as well!

The noise. The ceilings and walls are thin! Difficult if you are a light sleeper. Bring ear plugs!

The View from our room was amazing! Everything was nice. The location was perfect too. It was in walking distance for everything. We were fortunate enough to be in town for a foot festival which made the stay twice as nice! Don't forget the fact that Hotel Sporting has its own beach. That's very rare for hotels in that area. They are all on cliffs. Very, very tall cliffs. We will absolutely be back some day!

You can hear everything. The people in the next room. The people in the hall. The people 3 rooms down. Italians stay up late too. The elevator is tiny and for whatever reason, they don't leave the hall lights on. When we went to find our room the first day, it was almost pitch black.

Literally everything. I can only tell the best and I do not know what to highlight. First of all, do not miss the sea view room. It is unbelievable, the sunset is just in front of you, together with the sea, the Vesuvius and the reef of Vico. The size and the style of the room is great, much better than on the pics. The bathroom is also big and very well equipped. The room was also very clean and tidy. Then I need to highlight the staff. The receptionist, the waiters in the restaurant, the guys on the beach, all of them are kind, helpful, always with an honest smile on their face. Real hospitality. Then the food. We had half board with dinner included and what I can say is that it was totally wort for it. We could shoose from 4 starters and 4 main courses and all of them were very tasty and big portions. We loved it. The breakfast was also very good. The beach is peaceful with clean sunbeds in good condition. Mainly Italians are there which makes it even more authentic. You can reach the beach with an elevator which is quite special. To tell the truth, we did not visit any other places during my 5 days stay because we literally did not want get out of the hotel and the beach :)

Honestly, I can say anything we did not like. Not a tiny thing.
