Communication with Tiziana was effortlessly smooth, facilitated through WhatsApp, ensuring that every query and request was promptly addressed. The convenience begins right from the journey itself, with the B&B located just a minute's stroll from Vico Equense train station. Whether arriving from Naples Airport or the city center, accessibility is a breeze, either by bus or train. Upon stepping into my room, I was met with a blend of comfort and affordability. The accommodation is thoughtfully designed, offering all the essential amenities for a cozy retreat. What truly sets Filangieri 23 apart is its unwavering commitment to cleanliness. Each morning, the room is meticulously tidied, ensuring a pristine environment throughout my stay. Innovative touches abound, such as the bespoke PDF guide that eliminates the need for physical keys. Accessing the B&B is a seamless process, with clear instructions provided for entry at every level. Should any assistance be required, Tiziana's reassuring presence on WhatsApp offers peace of mind, guiding guests through any minor hiccups with ease. Located on the third floor, a charming elevator whisks guests upwards, adding a touch of convenience to the experience. Beyond the confines of the B&B, Vico Equense beckons with its quaint charm. A leisurely 15-minute stroll leads to the sun-kissed shores, where the azure waters of the beach invite moments of tranquility and relaxation. In conclusion, my stay at Filangieri 23 surpassed all expectations, offering a perfect blend of affordability, comfort, and convenience. I wholeheartedly recommend this delightful abode to fellow travelers, especially those seeking a budget-friendly retreat along the Sorrento Coast.

Nothing to report really

The location is fantastic. Vico is a lovely village with plenty of restaurants to choose from, mini supermarkets and cafes with patios, all within easy walking from the B&B. The train station, with frequent trains to Sorrento and Naples is only about 100m away. There is a shuttle bus from outside the train station to take you down, and back up the very steep hills to the 2 beaches in the village. We found Vico far less crowded and touristy than Sorrento and a far more authentic italian experience. The B&B rooms were modern and comfortable and rooms 2&4 have a fabulous view over Naples Bay to Vesuvius. We received clear information with the codes for rooms the day before our arrival. Mini- fridge and air-con in every room, beds very comfortable with extra pillows/blanket if you needed it. The rooms are on the 3rd floor but a lift is available.

Facilities in the rooms very limited. Very few hangers, no cups or glasses or tea/coffee. A kettle was provided in 1 room (we had booked 3 of the 4 rooms) but we had to go out and buy mugs, coffee and cutlery. Soap in only 1 of the rooms. Toilet rolls only replaced once they'd run out. The biggest inconvenience was that our plug adaptors only fitted the newer sockets in each bathroom. The rest of the sockets in all the rooms were older, and our 2-pin European adaptors did not fit them. Despite these inconveniences, we would definitely visit again, (and take these extra bits with us) as the location was so exceptional.

I stayed here as a solo traveller and absolutely loved it. Decent sized room and bathroom, comfy bed and pillows, great waterfall shower and the view from the balcony is spectacular. The room was also immaculate and very clean. The area of Vico Equense is great too - not too busy and a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. The train and bus station is also right next door to the B&B which is handy for transport to Naples and Sorrento.

I had tried to contact the B&B through all forms of communication in the weeks leading up to my stay, but never heard anything back. Booking.com couldn't get hold of them either. As a solo traveller, it was a bit unnerving, however, the day before and the day of arrival, communication was great. The only other thing I noticed was that the buzzers in to the room are quite loud, so you can hear the other guests arriving and leaving.

We stayed here for 3 nights while seeing the Amalfi area and it was fantastic. The rooms are very modern with great large shower. It was on the 3rd floor of the building and only 3 minutes walk from the Circumvesuviana. Pompeii was only 20 minutes away. The location was excellent. Many, many restaurants were nearby along with a few supermarkets and a scooter rental. It was perfect for us and we went on trips to Capri, Sorrento and the rest of the Amalfi coast. The breakfast buffet at the next door restaurant was awesome, making this a tremendous value. Great place to stay on the Amalfi coast.

Internet speed was not always good in the room we were in.

Excellent location next to the train station. Gorgeous view from the balcony. Modern and comfortable.

It is more like a hotel room than a bnb. We would have liked to have had some glasses, plates and tea/coffee making facilities to enjoy a breakfast or a drink on the balcony. The vouchers for coffee and a pastry were a bonus but we were not able to use them everyday as our tour left before the cafe opened.

We stayed for one night to explore the town and have a chill day down at the water following a busy few days at a wedding. Nice small Italian town, great food and well worth an explore Communication with the B&B was good and helpful with any question we had. Also helped us organise bus transport to Airport. We bumped into the owner of the B&B (Tiziana) upon finding the property, she was lovely, accommodating, and allowed us to check into the property 3 hours early. She gave us a tour of everything we needed (how to enter the apartment plus rooms) and gave us her number if we needed anything further. We had some issues with our plugs as our EU adapters wouldn’t fit the plugs of the B&B, and Tiziana bought us one and left it on our door so we could collect whenever ready. The room was spotless and the features of the room could not have been improved. The room was a beautiful size and the shower was amazing, with 3 different shower options. The room had a balcony with a sea view and a view of Vesuvius. The location was a 90 second walk from the train station and close to beaches too. The breakfast buffet by the tavern downstairs did a lovely selection of food. I cannot recommend staying here enough and would definitely be staying here again should I visit. It’s 15 minutes to Sorrento by train and found it was significantly cheaper and quieter than sorrento.

Everything was perfect

The location was excellent because it was right next to the train station for Circuvesuvius. It was a short walk to the town and it had magnificent views of Naples Bay and Mount Vesuvius

We stayed 12 days and the room was very small. It would be great if it was just 2 to 3 nights stay but for 12 days, the room was entirely too small.

Nice clean room with a nice view. The woman was very kind to allow us to leave our things in another room after we checked out. Nice bathroom. Good value.

There was really loud construction just above our room from early hours in the morning that made it impossible to sleep. Really loud and we could feel it through the walls. Communication from the host also could have been a bit better.

The location was very good, just a two-minute walk from the metro. There were adorable cats in the yard, and the man who took care of them was also very nice. The Wi-Fi didn’t work very well. We couldn’t tell whether the towels were changed or not. Overall, it’s worth booking because of the location.
