The staff is this hotel are probably the best at their job I've experienced in a long time. They genuinely do their upmost best for the residents in every area. I booked a room that I taught was a bigger room, when I went down to reception and explained myself Simona the receptionist went out of her way to accommodate me to another bigger room. When i was departing the 8 had ordered a private transfer to the airport and it got cancelled at the last minute, i informed the receptionist and she organised a new transfer for me tonthe airport at the last minute. The hotel is extremely clean and nice. The pool is very chilled and relaxed.

The noise of the cleaners so early in the morning, talking on the landing. It is a bit noisy at night, when the other residents are walking the landings and coming out of the lift.

Great quality hotel, staff were so helpful and couldn’t do enough during our stay. Pool and outside area was clean and well looked after, also not too crowded which was nice. Room was freshly refurbished with great air conditioning, turn down service on the room seemed to happen every time we left which also added to the feeling of being well looked after. It’s also 10 minutes from the main square so practical to get around

I couldn’t fault this stay for the value it is.

The staff were always had a smile and were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was well prepared and in addition to the breakfast buffet, one could request prepared food. The cappuccino was great! Then, out of the blue, the bartender (Mina?) made a pie and other selected Hors d’oeuvres for a Happy Hour. The food was fantastic. The room as at the back of the Hotel and had a lovely balcony that we could sit at to enjoy a coffee in the morning and a cocktail in the evening. The view was beautiful. At night, the surrounding area was quiet, perfect for sleeping.

Everything!! From the warm welcome when we first arrived to us leaving very early on a Saturday morning, the friendliness and sincerity of all staff were unmatched anywhere I have ever stayed before. The aperitifs in the evening were delicious and very welcome on returning from long days out discovering the sights. The breakfast was first class and the coffee was delicious. Rooms were immaculate - as was every inch of this beautiful hotel. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud. The only thing that was missing for us (very important to Irish travellers) was the inclusion of tea/coffee-making facilities in the room but tbh we didn't miss it all that much!

The pool is a good size with a nice bar serving a good range of food and drink. Lots of loungers. The breakfast provided a good selection of food, hot options like bacon & eggs, fruit, pastries, cereal, bread and my son's favourite - pancakes. We are a family of 3 and found the room a good size and loved having a balcony. It was clean and tidy. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

When we arrived we were concerned that the hotel is on a busy road but we weren't disturbed by the noise.

What a great hotel! We were a party of 4, including a one year old. The hotel could not have done enough for us, especially at breakfast when they promptly brought the high chair and made a real fuss of him! Staff on check in were helpful, the rooms were always spotlessly cleaned and towels and bedding were changed half way through. The baby's cot was clean and appropriate for his age. The fridge and AC were great too! We had a room overlooking the pool and the views at night of the Bay of Naples were lovely. We loved the location - a ten minute walk to the centre, and so many good bars and eating spots close by, as well as places to get snacks and drinks! I need to particularly rave about breakfast - the offer was updating each day, with different cheeses, cereals, meats, juices, as well as the staples like sausages and beans. There was something for everyone! It was also really fun to try some of the local cakes and delicacies at breakfast too (the marmalade cake especially was amazing!) The quality of products on offer was great as well. The breakfast staff were very attentive, friendly and cheerful. It really set us up for the day and we missed it when we returned! We had a few drinks at night in the bar where there were delicious canapes available. The woman behind the bar always made a big fuss of the baby and also made excellent drinks! Overall we had a brilliant stay - we would fully recommend it to anyone going to Sorrento, and we have already told friends going to Sorrento later in the year to stay here.

We had a fabulous short stay at Hotel Gardenia. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome from the start. The hotel was small, which we liked and about a 10-15 min walk into the main centre of Sorrento. It was located on a very busy road but the windows in our room were sound-proofed so the traffic didn’t bother us. The rooms were a good size, the beds comfortable and the air-con worked well. The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of foods available. Our kids looked forward to it every morning!! The pool area was lovely and whilst it was often busy, we never struggled to find a sun lounger. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

Only a minor point - The shower tray wasn’t very effective and water tended to leak across the bathroom floor.

As with most of Sorrento, drinks are quite expensive. We did get woken in the early hours by rubbish collections and lorries but no fault of the hotel.

The property was about a 15 minute walk to the city center. The breakfast was exceptional. The hotel restaurant also offered lunch very reasonably priced and was fresh and delicious. The pool was great on summer days and the food and drinks available at the pool were also very reasonably priced. The rooms were small but VERY clean and each room had a large balcony. Our room overlooked the Main Street and it stayed bustling until late into the night.

The property is on a very busy street and the rooms were very small. Not a deal breaker. Still a good deal.

Very comfortable hotel. You have all my recommendations. In a good location, 10 minutes walk from the center. We enjoyed the breakfast which was varied and delicious. The staff is very helpful. Thanks for all the advice. The room is comfortable, clean, air conditioned, with a view of the pool. We felt very comfortable. We also used the pool, towels can be taken at the reception.
