The pool! Sorrento is busy, especially in August, as is the rest of the Amalfi Coast, so to escape to a little piece of serenity every day was lovely. The pool is not massive, but it is big enough to chill out in, it's very clean and the garden is nice too. With only 3 or 4 rooms, most times we had the pool to ourselves. The room was very spacious, and we were staying for two weeks, so it gave us plenty of space to spread out!! The room had a terrace, which was large with great views, a lovely place to chill in the evening after a busy day sightseeing! The location is about a 20min stroll into town, which was fine for us, but the road is busy, so I can see why some wouldn't like it.

We stayed for 14 nights, so breakfast got a little boring, but as it's a B&B and most stay less time, I guess most would be fine with it. The owners, however, made an awesome cup of coffee in the morning 😋 The last thing is purely an observation, I know B&Bs don't usually have a fridge in the room, but with Sorrento being so warm in the summer, the addition of a small one would be very welcome to chill water, and drinks to enjoy on the terrace 👍

We had a wonderful stay at Ambrosia Relais. The room was great and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We particularly liked the large balcony - views were amazing. Breakfast was enjoyable with great coffee. Lovely garden area with great swimming pool. There is also a Jacuzzi but we never used it. We took Curreri Bus direct from Airport & got off at San't Agnello stop which is only 7 minutes straight walk to Ambrosia Relais. Train Station in San't Agnello is also closer but if you wish to get a seat would recommend walking to Sorrento Station as this is the first stop.

Nothing - everything was great. People have complained about narrow paths but this has nothing to do with the accomodation - we found it fine you get used to it after a day or so.

The location is very good: just 20 minutes to Sorrento's downtown, 25 minutes to the port and 10 minutes from the train station by walking. The room was perfectly clean and tidy and featured numerous country-style elements such as lights, wooden furniture, paintings, etc. Very nice! All windows and terrace door were equipped with mosquito nets - very useful indeed! Our room also had a huge terrace with some garden furniture - a great place to spend a pleasant evening with a glass of wine and your beloved one. Fantastic!

The busy road Corso Italia and the railway line above are very close to the building, which may result in some annoying noise during nights. Hopefully, you can control it to a certain extent by closing the relevant windows. While the room had a small safe, it lacked a minibar, which would be a useful addition for a traveller staying longer than one night. But I know the owners pursue a no-food-in-the-room policy, so that's understandable. The bed could be a bit longer: I had to "manage" my legs properly to fit in, but I'm 190 cm tall.

The host let us in early which was nice, having previously asked about gluten free options for breakfast he was nice enough to make sure i had something for breakfast, cornetto, muffin etc. When we mentioned the beach he gave us towels to take also. The room we had was very roomy and tastefully decorated, equally so for the bathroom. Plus having free access to Netlfix is a nice touch for a night in after seeing whatever it is you came to see in the area. The real bonus is being close to Piazzeta Marinetta and surrounding eateries, if you like a quieter place to visit in the evening then this is the place within 5-10 minutes walk Scooter hire is very close by also!

Pool and hot tub closing at 7pm as by the time you come back to stay you cant use it. Change this to 10pm?

The view from our balcony was amazing! who doesn't want to walk out onto the balcony and have a perfect view of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius right in the centre! The room was perfect and the breakfast was bountiful. Our host was always on hand to make our stay comfortable and relaxing

Unfortunately the towels were not to be desired, I only hope they take up this suggestion to renew the towels.

Breakfast choice was small but tasty. Room a great size with a lovely terrace area. Pool area was really nice and wish we had more chance to make use of it.

We were not told how to check out or who we needed to contact, causing us to not pay the city tax and having to send a separate payment as we left early for our flight. A refrigerator would have made the room perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at this Sorrento apartment! It’s a short walk to the city center, which made exploring super convenient. The apartment is set in a beautiful lemon garden, adding a unique touch to our experience. It was very clean, and the owner was extremely friendly and welcoming. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a great cappuccino to start the day. The paid parking spot was a big plus, too! Highly recommend for a peaceful and comfortable stay in Sorrento.

The large villa and gardens are beautiful. The room we stayed in was enormous, airy and stylish, with a lobby and TV room attached. Parking was available which was great as it's very hard to find a parking spot in Sorrento. The walk down to the historic city centre is very pleasant, past villas and panoramic sea views. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come again.

Because the hotel sign is very small and only visible if you are on foot, the property was very difficult to find. We drove past four times. Eventually we found some where to park and walked to where Satnav said it was. A bigger hotel sign is needed.

Any adjective I give would not be enough to appraise this place. It is more like a nicely renovated family house than a conventional hotel. And getting it for such a low rate was quite surprising. From great location with a view of Vesuvius, sea and orange orchards to the warm hospitality of the owner family, everything convinced me to return here in near future. We found good pub and restaurants, and nice terraces to see the coastal cliffs within a 10 min walking range. Last but not the least, I was quite impressed by their artistic choice of furnitures, floors, paintings, and famous books in our room. I strongly recommend this place for couples or small groups who likes to stay in more calm and nature-surrounded environment. You can spend a whole morning sitting on the terrace and drinking a bottle of wine.

To be honest, I did not find anything.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The facilities are great, the room is beautiful, lovely hosts and fabulous breakfast. A must stay for Sorrento! The rooms are decorated so beautifully and thoughtfully - loved the collection of books throughout. We hope to return!
