The room was clean and comfortable. Location was good, close to the main square (Piazza Tasso), about a 15 min walk with coffee shop, small market very close with a number of other shops, restaurants and pubs. The train station (Stazione di Sorrento) was close and walkable to room. It was a plus the tv had an English station. Bed was comfortable. Nice, private, large outdoor patio area to ourselves. Room is managed by the Hotel Gardenia across the street and had a pleasant check-in/out. We had access to the pool (didn’t use due to weather/no time), offered a Happy Hour, breakfast (for a fee) and the rest of their hotel services. Staff was very nice, helpful and informative. If you’re driving (car/vespa), hotel has parking for a daily fee.

The shower was very small and no space for toiletries. Could use a shower rack. The bathroom window and door to patio could use a screen. We left open for a bit for fresh air and quickly found a number of mosquitoes in room. The train track is directly behind the patio wall. A train goes by very often during the day/evening. The sound is apparent but only for about 5-10 seconds. We weren’t in room during the day so not an issue. The earliest we heard the train was around 7:30am and the latest was around 10:30pm. If it came earlier/later we didn’t hear it, being sound sleepers. It wasn’t a deal breaker for us. Amenities list an iron which was not in the room. I had to walk across the street to the hotel and use iron in a utility room and could not take iron to room.

The staff were so charming - so friendly and helpful which made the stay extra lovely.. fresh orange juice on arrival, breakfast food delicious, room was comfy and clean, beautiful pool area. Would definitely stay here again!

We had the terrace room which backs onto a train line, you soon get used to it but if you are a light sleeper it may be better to use the sister hotel. (hotel gardenia!). Would be good to have 2 sets of keys from the room as we had to share.

We stayed in the building opposite which is run by the hotel as a B&B, but you still get to use all of the main hotel facilities! Clean comfortable room, lovely staff and beautiful breakfast each morning. The pool area was quiet and lovely to use when needing a rest. The bar there does nice pizza, snacks and drinks. Bathroom was great. They can also arrange tours and airport transfers, we had already booked our tours but used their airport transfer service and it was great. Its about 10 mins on foot on a flat road to the town which was fine for us!

My only suggestion is that kettle in the room would have been great. It is behind a train track and the balcony is overlooking a very busy and loud road so couldn't really use it, however this can't be helped and isn't the hotels fault. Also, the soundproofing is really good so once the door is shut you can't hear too much. We didn't find it affected our sleep in any way. We knew to expect this before booking too, which is why I mention it as it is no problem when balcony doors are closed.

Room was at the main street where you can take busses everywhere in sorrento. 15 minutes by walking to the Sorrento city center, 10 minutes to sorrento train station. There was a huge balcony and the room was nice. Staf was helpfull. And if you wish you can swim for free of charge at the pool of the hotel just in accross the street called Hotel Gardenia where everybody nows in Sorrento.

We loved the room, it was perfect for us, exceptionally clean all the time, we loved how we could use all the amenities of the Hotel Gardenia across the street, including the pool, roof top patio, and an AMAZING breakfast spread. The best one I had in Italy!! For the other reviews who said it was noisy, there are double doors to keep the sound out - the owner walked us to our room and was so nice and so accommodating. we absolutely loved this place! would highly recommend!

We paid an additional fee for the breakfast, but it was worth it. We enjoyed it here and the staff at reception were very welcoming. The staff in the restaurant were professional and friendly. We were able to walk to the town centre quite easily and there was a laundromat nearby to wash our clothes.

Very clean and comfortable, attentive staff with homemade lemon juice on arrival , pool and sun bathing area excellent, was a 10 minute walk to busy past but all flat, highly recommended

The service is great! Thanks to Simona and the team from Hotel Gardenia, which owns these comfort rooms. The breakfast is nice, mostly sweets, but good enough!! 15 minutes walk from Piazza Tasso , very close to pubs and restaurants. Nice room and nice swimming pool of the hotel.

The shower stream was not the best and no elevator.. but besides that, all was great

Beautiful apartment with the benefits of the hotel. The breakfast was excellent within Hotel Gardenia and we could use the pool/gym shared between Gardenia and Hotel Central. Fantastic value for money. This apartment is on a pretty busy road but the apartment has two patio doors onto the balcony to limit the sound. I never had any issues with the traffic. Location was fantastic with either a 15 minutes walk into either Sorrento or Sant'Agnello.

Having access to the locked kitchen would have been a slight benefit but with breakfast included its hard to argue. Everything was great to be honest.
