I have stayed on the Amalifi coast 12 times in various hotels this hotel was by far my favourite, the staff were so friendly and helpful always willing to go the extra mile without being asked and always service with a smile. As I was by myself they always made effort to ask me how my day was and remembered little things about my preferences. The room was maintained spotless and it was only a 20 minute walk from the Piazza, if staying in Sorrento again this will be the hotel I stay at for sure! Also I had traveled to celebrate my birthday but didn’t tell anyone at the hotel, at breakfast they bought me a little cake which was just so thoughtful!!

Bright and spacious room, with a modern bathroom with a nice shower. The pool area was nice with plenty of sun beds and lovely temperature pool water. Various options at breakfast, although not vast, something for everyone. Great air con and daily room cleaning and fresh towels 20-25 min walk in to main area of Sorrento (we enjoy walking so this wasn’t an issue for us)

When other guests were using their bathroom (toilet / shower) we could hear the plumbing system loudly in our room. Description says sound proofing but this isn’t the case - unfortunately we had noisy neighbours and we could hear them clearly in the middle of the night (singing etc) however when we advised the night porter about this he acted promptly to resolve the issue and asked them to be quiet :-)

Breakfast was huge and so many options. Meats, veggie options, fruit, cereal, hot and cold drinks and tons of cakes/pastries. The hotel is so beautiful and clean and never felt busy even though there were a lot of people staying. Lovely pool that was never too busy. 100% would stay again!

The pool next door (hotel Florida) is big and is more of a family and children's pool so can be a little loud but nothing too distracting. Not really anything Hotel Isabella can do about it. Taxis/transfer from the hotel to train station is very expensive. It is definitely walkable and lovely if just popping out anywhere with no luggage but feels tiring in the heat with suitcases.

This was exactly what we were after. A lovely quiet hotel outside the main centre of Sorrento, with a pool! We used this hotel as a jumping in point. We went to Pompeii, Capri and eventually Atrani from here. The breakfast was amazing, with fantastic cakes, fruit and savory options available. The staff were attentive, friendly and super helpful in all aspects. We used the pool every day that we were there and it was such a lovely way to spend a few hours/half a day when we'd been in the sun of Pompeii for the morning. I would 100% visit if we were to go back to the area.

There isnt anything here that I can think of. If I was being SUPER picky it is about a 10-15 minute walk from Sorrento centre but we didnt want to be in the centre so it was perfect for us.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious , clean towels every day, Coffee and tea making facilities also. Fabulous breakfast with good choices of fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, a hot food. Location was not in the middle of town which we enjoyed as town is very busy! Also it's great to have a pool to cool off in the afternoon after shopping in town.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect for exploring Sorrento, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The pool was amazing and the perfect way to cool down after exploring in the summer heat.

There was nothing I didn’t like — everything exceeded expectations.

The staff was very nice with us, always thoughtful and eager to solve any problems we may have. The location is relatively good, 10 min car ride from the port and walking distance from nice beaches and restaurants. Also, the room was spacious and the relationship between price and quality was excellent.

The shower was not the best as water split out and the floor gets wet, at least in our room.

My room was a good size, comfortable and very clean. The bathroom is up-to-date and not cramped. The swimming pool, though not large, was welcome; there are a good number of sun beds around it. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful.

The breakfast was subpar: no fresh fruit, indifferent coffee and the same bland scrambled eggs every morning. As this is rated a 4-star hotel, I was disappointed to find no small coffee maker in the room.

The staff were so helpful and friendly and spoke English which definitely made it easier for us. They really were above and beyond! Breakfast was incredible and the rooms were very clean and perfectly air conditioned. Great family friendly stay!

It was a little walk to the heart of the town but that really wasn’t a problem for us and made it so the hotel was nice and quiet at night.

Nowhere to put hand held shower piece when you didn’t want to use the overhead shower (didn’t want to wet my hair so had to shower one handed to hold it up)
