Both our contact Vittorio and the cleaning staff took great efforts in making the stay good for us. The bathing room is big and great. So is the balcony.

Breakfast served at the romm is a great luxury, but the breakfast here is very basic. Since the sleeping room is quite small, the balcony must mostly serv at breakfast room an livingroom. The place is around 15 minuts walk outside the city center, and you have to follow a road with heavy traffic and pedestrian lanes, that sometimes are quite narrow.

We stayed at Al Parco Il Rota B&B during our time in Sorrento. The host Vittorio was helpful in explaining how everything worked in the apartment, and Rosaria arrived with breakfast at the agreed time each morning. Breakfast is selected from a small menu – typically croissant spreads, juice, and cereal – simple, but fine for Italy. The location is about 10–15 minutes walk from the train station, 15–20 minutes to the old town, and around 20–25 minutes to the harbor. You walk along a busy main road, and in some areas the sidewalks are narrow, which occasionally felt a bit unsafe due to the traffic. We stayed in Room 1. While it was well-equipped, the room itself was quite small with limited space for unpacking, so we ended up partly living out of our suitcases. That said, the best feature was undoubtedly the large balcony, furnished with a sofa set, dining table, and chairs – we spent a lot of time out there.

A major downside was the outdoor air conditioning unit from a neighboring property, placed right above the balcony seating area. It was quite noisy when in use, disrupting the otherwise relaxing atmosphere.

Breakfast was nice, but we had early morning commitments and missed it twice. The balcony was nice, would be perfect in the summer, but we were there in spring. The staff were kind and helpful when checking in and in answering any questions we had. The room was nice, bed comfortable and bathroom spacious.

The wifi was down, in the whole neighbourhood, which sucked but was it their fault. We were without hot water for a day, it was repaired, but nothing beyond sorry was offered for the inconvenience, we were unable to shower one evening and morning. It’s a bit of a hike from the ferry port, but close to the train station. Taxis are expensive in Sorento and Uber non existent in the early morning (they were only recently approved to operate).

I loved everything!! Mainly the hospitality of Vittorino e Rosario !!!! Vittorino waited for me outside on my arrival to guide me to the room, where he explained to me all about the room and the city!!! And Rosario who brought my daily breakfast and clean the room!! Both of them made my stay so wonderful!! This don’t have a price!! Is pure a great “hospitality” !!!! Thank you guys!!! Keep up the amazing work!!!!

I just wish the location to be a little closer to where the center!!

The room we used had a terrace with views of the sea, and a kitchen and full bath en suite. Breakfast was available, and a fridge can hold anything else you wish to buy like yogurt and fruit, as well as pizza or pasta leftovers. The pool is an oasis at the end of the day, especially given the hot days of August. The complex is apartments, so it for residents but also guests of Al Parco. The room is spotless clean, and well card for by its staff, who are so helpful and attentive. Vittorio was there to meet us, check us in, and get us oriented, such a professional and thoughtful person. Only a short walk to the Corso Italia provides easily walkable distances to piazza Tasso and a longer walk to the Marina Grande through the town steps. There is a lower road path that is quieter and has a view, and there are places to eat, shop and catch tours through the area.

The room and service was exceptional for the price. Roberto and the lady (i didnt catch her name) were so lovely and made me feel very welcomed. The breakfast service was stunning! I would highly recommend staying here and I will definitely return. The location is a perfect walk from scenic views and from the shopping square. The area is safe and it’s not loud. The view from the balcony is bliss! I got a few cute photos on it :). Thank you for making my first solo trip a lovely experience!

The host, Vittorio is fantastic. He communicated with us regularly through WhatsApp to confirm our arrival time and waited for us to arrive. He explained all of the processes very clearly and thoroughly, explaining routes on a map and sent me a number of recommendations for places to eat and drink. Parking wasn't unreasonable for the area, we were able to use the space underneath the apartments. Breakfast was served each morning in our room and was fresh, and there was a good sized fridge for storing drinks. We also liked our balcony with seating.

The communal areas of the building and the lift are very outdated with some signs of disrepair which gives a slightly alarming first impression, but thankfully the B&B itself is lovely, bright and clean.

The property was lovely and clean, the AC is free to use and the balcony allows a nice area to relax.The host was very friendly and helpful, he gave us links to transport options and restaurant he believed were worth trying. He was always available to contact throughout the stay and the check out process was simple. The distance from the main town square was perfect for avoiding the rush or loudness of people and cars, it was a 10 minute walk with plenty of shops and restaurants on the way. The pool was available and always cleaned. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting to stay in Sorrento it is great value for money! Thank you so much we had an amazing time!

There was a very friendly welcoming host who showed us around and gave hints and tips. The balcony was lovely and having a private area for breakfast was a great start to the day. The pool was a great addition for the area and very reasonable accommodation for the area given this facility.

For us the beds were a little hard. The carton orange juice at breakfast. It felt odd to be surrounded by citrus fruit and not have fresh OJ.

Very clean, nice view of the mountains and a small sea view. The host Vittorio met us on arrival outside the property he was very welcoming and informative of the area tips and places to go in sorrento and the amalfi coast. The lady cleaning the room did a fab job everyday even going to the lengths of arranging our shoes and suitcases. The location is central about 10/15 min walk into the centre. Can’t recommend this place enough!

If I have to pick something Maybe it’s a bit small but more than enough space for a couple and a massive balcony to compensate for it.
