Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very attentive. There was plenty of selected food to eat. The room was good and a fair size. The pool was good, large, deep and there were plenty of loungers. You got a free towel. The gym was well stocked and the staff member was very helpful. There was a nice balcony overlooking the busy road. All the staff were very helpful and attended to all your needs.

The room was at the front of the building and there was a busy road especially at 5am onwards if you were a light sleeper. There was not a big enough shower curtain, and the spray flooded the floor. The pool was shaded most of the day which made the water cold and also the neighbour dog was let out and constantly barked for a long time and was extremely annoying. The footpaths on the main road were very narrow and you had to be careful re traffic coming in both directions.

Good location, just a 10 minute walk to the centre with coffee shops, convenience stores, bars and bistros along the way. The room was perfectly comfortable with great beds and pillows, large shower and all the necessary toiletries supplied. Every one of the staff were more than helpful and genuinely pleasant and pleased to help. A little special mention to the lovely lady who looked after our room each morning. The spa is small but beautiful and I had the most amazing massage, a little piece of quiet relaxation in busy Sorrento. Breakfast was well laid out, plenty of choice for my tastes and well stocked. The fact that this central boutique hotel has a pool and sun lounger area was a big plus as we could cool down with a dip after a day of excursions.

I understood that the hotel didn't have a restaurant but I think it would be a welcome addition and especially for those evenings where you just want to relax at the hotel. I would also appreciate more relaxed seating in the lobby which would have enticed me again to spend more time at the hotel some evenings. But overall, I have no major negatives about this hotel. I understood that my room would most likely face the main road through Sorrento and that this has been commented on by other reviews, but although there is almost constant traffic, it didn't ever affect my sleep in any way.

We had a very enjoyable 2 day stay. The hotel is well situated, around 15 mins walk from the busy central square and an additional stroll down through the windy streets to the historic Marina and excellent sea food restaurants. The rooms at the hotel are spacious and spotlessly clean. Our room was recently renovated and had very good double glazing. Breakfast is excellent, with a variety of savoury and sweet options. The pool area is lovely and there is also a poolside bar. Hotel staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.

Staff were fantastic. So friendly and helpful. Very warm welcome and they went above and beyond in helping us to retrieve some lost property from the bus station. Lovely breakfast. Pool area clean with nice little bar. Free access to a fully equiped gym with extensive range of machines and weights. Accommodation staff very friendly and did a great job in keeping rooms clean. Air conditioning excellent the room was cool on our arrival. Hotel within walking distance to central commercial area, restaurants and bars. Overall would highly recommend.

When having a shower it sprays water over the bath and drowns the floor despite trying to keep the curtain inside the bath. We used so many towels trying to dry the floor each time.

The hotel was very clean and all staff extremely friendly. The reception and cleaning staff were lovely with our kids and always tried to work around naps when housekeeping. We had a large family room with 2 double beds and a large bathroom which was great for our family. It was our wedding while we were there. The staff fitted out our room with trinkets and special pillow cases, they also gave us a special little reception for us and our 7 family members with cake and prosecco by the pool. They really were wonderful hosts and couldn't do enough for us.

Storage space was significantly lacking in our family room. There were 4 of us inc. 2 kids but only one small wardrobe, no drawers or other space to put clothes other than suitcase. Road noise was also a bit of an issue as our balcony was adjacent to the main road Corso Italia. Walking distance from Piazzo Tasso was further than expected. It is only a straight road that would normally take a reasonably fit adult 15mins to walk, with plenty of shops and restaurants on the way. However, we had toddlers and a pram (the pavements are not very wide and kerbs are high!) and we had guests in our party with mobility issues. In hindsight, we should have perhaps paid more to be closer to town.

Lovely hotel, clean, helpful staff. The cleaning staff in particular were really kind and helpful. Good breakfast and the staff were more than happy for us to take up a tray for our teenagers who couldn't get up in time! Lovely pool area and the rooftop terrace had amazing views.

We had two rooms with an adjoining door for ourselves and our teenagers, our room was lovely and had a luxurious bathroom but the kids room was not as high spec for example they had a shower curtain rather than a screen so the floor got wet every time they showered. Also there were no tea and coffee making facilities in our room which we would have liked for an early morning or late evening cup of tea.

We had a gorgeous room on top (5th) floor with a balcony and view. Beds were comfortable and rooms clean. All staff were lovely too. Location was good, 10min walk from train station and a bit further from main bars and restaurants, but plenty of choices on the way if you didn’t want to walk too far. Pool area was nice and every day had enough loungers and towels, even though it was shared with another hotel. Food and drink choices at the pool were great too

No lift to top floor, we didn’t mind, just tricky with our suitcases but can ask the staff to take them up and down for you. Breakfast was average. If you went during the layer slot of 8-9am or later, some things would have ran out

We had stayed in other four star hotels as we made our way around the coastline, and the difference between them and Hotel Central Wellness was like night and day. The staff are all wonderful. They are friendly, patient, warm, and welcoming. They spoke beautiful English for which we are immeasurably grateful (as my Italian is embarrassingly awful - but even then they had the patience to tolerate my attempts)! We were on the fourth floor, facing the courtyard, overlooking the pool, with a sea view. I highly recommend this positioning; it was pin-drop quiet and the views were spectacular. The room was well equipped, nicely designed, and well maintained. A modern bathroom with decent water pressure and the usual toiletries. There is a mounted hair dryer. The plug sockets have USB-A and USB-C charging outlets, so no need for adapters, and there are multiple mood lighting options. The bed mattress is a little hard (perhaps you like that) but it had a duvet. I can’t tell you how nice it was to sleep under an actual duvet as opposed to just a sheet like some other hotels. The air-con is efficient and can be left permanently on so the room is cool on your return. Good storage options for all your clothing, with a reasonable quantity of hangers if you’re ok doubling up. There is a mini-fridge and safe. The fridge was good, we stored some snacks and water in there and it chilled everything really efficiently. It comes stocked with the usual options. You can request an iron and ironing board to your room, which the staff deliver immediately. This will sound strange, but it’s a proper free standing ironing board with a proper ironing board cover, which is so good. The iron is non-steam though, so you’ll have to wet your linen for it to be efficient. That said, I used the hotel’s laundry and ironing service for two linen shirts during our stay, and they were both returned within 24hrs beautifully clean and pressed.

We would have liked our room to be hoovered / swept when being made up, as the surface was really dusty and stuck to our clothes. The gym was a little messy, it was difficult to find corresponding equipment if you want to build a circuit. The air-con is poor too, but perhaps that’s a bonus if you want to burn calories. Bed was a little hard (perhaps you like that) but the pillows were comfy.

It was simple, not massively modern, but was clean, good value, and the location good. The attached gym was really good, comprehensive equipment. Location about 10mins from main square, but Sorrento small so getting anywhere easy. Nice to be near station. Breakfast was a good continental selection, with a small hot breakfast selection. Always very tasty and fresh. Nearby some good restaurants which were much better value than the more centrally located restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel; the front desk staff are welcoming and helpful, rearranging our stay to accommodate an issue with no penalty, arranging trips and transfers, the dining room and pool bar staff are also friendly and our room was kept absolutely spotless throughout by housekeeping. Our room was a good size, at the front with a balcony. It faced out onto the main road so there is noise but this can be reduced overnight by closing the shutters. The beds are firm and have fabulous pillows which meant that even this poor sleeper got a good night! We didn’t use the gym but the pool is a good size and there was plenty of seating even when the hotel was full. Breakfast offers a good selection and you can order from menu at the pool, to your room and to the rooftop terrace.

The only downside is the location being on a busy main road and a little further out from the town centre but it is easily within walking distance so not really an issue.
