This hotel is amazing! From the moment you walk through the gates you’re surrounded by beautiful landscaping in the garden and pool area, which continues to the characterful decor inside the villa. Our room was comfortable and quiet with lovely views of the pool. Because it’s not a large hotel it never seemed busy, and the atmosphere was tranquil and relaxing. The staff were all so helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The choice at breakfast is great, and all of the food and drinks were delicious. The location is good, being a short walk from a few restaurants as well as the train station. It’s also easy to walk into Sorrento from the hotel. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely return!

We loved our room which had a huge private terrace with amazing views of the surrounding hills & out to see. Breakfast was lovely with cold & hot options of lovely Italian vegetables, beans, salads, cheese & variety of eggs. Also fruit, yogurts, cereals & lots of cake & lots more to choose from. The server worked had to ensure he attended to guests, getting their coffees & clearing tables as we grazed each morning. We visited in April & quieter season - at times felt like we were the only guests present in this beautiful mansion. The house & pool area were beautiful throughout. They were immaculate & very clean. Staff were all very attentive as well as helpful & our room was serviced each day. The grounds were enclosed by an electric gate which was operated by staff via camera to ensure premises were secure at all times. The location was good, a 20 min walk or short train ride to busy Sorrento. There is so much to like about this amazing place. Would love to return.

Beautiful property, nice decor, exceptionally clean and well presented. Well done the staff who provide this! Breakfasts outstanding quality and presentation. Comfortable bed, great shower. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Mosquitoes around the pool area, think the hotel could do more to prevent the amount by spraying or offering more repellents to reduce the amount. Staff also around the pool area to be encouraged to challenge noisy guests and those using foul language. Whilst I understand this is difficult there was a group of young American girls who displayed this unacceptable behaviour and it is not in keeping with the property. A coffee machine in room would also be a nice addition.

This is a stunning hotel. Beautifully decorated and lovely grounds. Breakfast selection was good. Our garden room was very comfortable and very clean. Easy walk into Sorrento and some excellent restaurants nearby. The stand out feature for us was the staff especially Valentina and Maria.

We wish the gorgeous pool had been heated. It was just too cold for us to use even on a warm day. Our garden room was lovely but it would benefit from an outside light by the door. Although there was a light it only worked when your key card was in the slot in the room itself which wasn't helpful when returning at night.

Our visit to this Villa was exceptional. My deluxe room was a delight, as were the lovely and peaceful gardens and pool area. There was a very large breakfast area, with heaps of space between every table. The breakfast was tasty, with an extensive buffet as well as made to order hot dishes and coffees. There were several charming common areas (large and small, indoor and outside) for people to chat and relax. On arrival we loved the beautiful entrance through the large garden and the warm and efficient welcome from Valentina. It is definitely one of the few accommodations that have exceeded my expectations!

The location was good. However, it is a 25 minute walk to the Sorrento town centre, or a 10 minute walk to the Sant'Agnello train station (and then a 3 minute train trip to Sorrento - cost of 1.5 Euros). This is fine for able-bodied people, as it is a fairly flat walk into town. However, for people who have difficulty walking, it would be better to stay in Sorrento.

This hotel is a haven of peaceful calm. A beautiful entrance along a driveway surrounded by tropical trees and plants leads to the charming whitewashed villa and marble steps to the reception. Where you are greeted by friendly helpful staff, no fuss being shown to our room and all the information about the hotel delivered with a smile. Lovely large room and shower room luxuriously decorated. The pool area is fabulous, very clean and warm pool, and lots of sunbeds and seating around the bar area where a few Aperol Spritzes were enjoyed! Breakfast is a must here, a fantastic selection of homemade frittata, torta, pastries, eggs, bacon and fruits and cheeses…delicious! All the staff are friendly and helpful, it is a small boutique hotel and it is personal service. Everyone at Villa Savarese should be very proud of creating wonderful holidays for their guests.

This place was the highlight of our holidays, we loved absolutely everything. Villas is stunning, very clean and stylish. Rooms are spacious and everything is thought through to make your stay comfy. Breakfast was great in a beautiful breakfast room. Staff was super helpful and attentive. They organised a little cake and a candle for my husband's birthday, it was a lovely surprise. Location is great, about 20 min walk to the centre of Sorrento. There are plenty of restaurants around and a very short walk to the seaside. We can hardly recommend this wonderful place! If we are ever back to Sorrento, we would not stay anywhere else.

A beautiful boutique sanctuary. The villa is located a nice distance away from the crowds of Sorrento but still within a 25 min walk. There were also a few gorgeous restaurants within a few minutes walk of the villa. Definitely try Coku and Marinella at the end of the road. The receptionists were always so helpful with suggestions of restaurants and calling for reservations for us. The staff are all exceptional. We loved spending our days by the beautiful pool surrounded by lemon and orange trees. The barman was most obliging and really friendly. I loved my aperol and lemoncello spritzs a bit too much! Our bedroom in the garden area was gorgeous. Really spacious and comfortable. The shower was powerful and a constant supply of hot water.

To find one thing I could be critical of was that maybe the bed sheets didn't feel the most luxurious or comfortable. A bit starchy, esp compared to the high standards of everything else! Perhaps providing a bottle of water for each guest daily when the rooms are serviced would be appreciated.

Lovely quiet location away from all the noise, very clean and tidy, breakfast buffet was lovely with changes each day. The bedroom was a great size as was the bathroom and the aircon worked perfectly. The pool was in great condition and lovely to be surrounded by lemon trees. Staff were friendly, polite and very helpful ordering us taxis. Amazing for a 3 star hotel.

The toilet required a few pushes/pumps to flush, not a huge problem but would be good to check. The doorbell could be quite loud in the reception area which late at night could wake us up, maybe a quiet bell from 11pm would fix this? But neither of these things negatively affected our stay.

Front staff were very friendly and helpful with great suggestions for what to visit in Sorrento. Lovely grounds and a nice pool that means the hustle and bustle of Sorrento is left behind in opulent surroundings.

Our room was presumably one of the smaller of the Superior Double rooms. Perhaps this should be downgraded on the site? The buzzer or intercom for the front gate woke us up each time it went off at the front desk....suggest this might be upgraded to a different system to allow better sleep! A room on the second floor might also help! Four nights' parking fees soon add up...suggest a small discount for people staying longer than a night or two?
