The staff at Hotel Cristina couldn’t have been more lovely. From the moment we arrived they made us feel welcome and were delightful from start to finish. The hotel shuttle bus is VERY useful and although we could have walked to the centre, it would have taken over 20 mins or more with two children in tow! The pool and hotel facilities were clean and very well maintained on a daily basis. We ate in the restaurant at lunch time on more than one occasion for ease and the food was well received by our whole party. When we wanted to go to the beach we would get the shuttle bus from the hotel into the centre and then walk ten minutes to the nearest beach. We went to Peters beach club and Lionelles beach club during our stay. HIGHLY recommend Lionelles over Peters; sandy, great food and much nicer staff. Hotel Christina is a perfect stay for a family and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much to all of the staff at hotel Christina for making our stay in Sorrento so wonderful.

Nothing! We loved it all!

We had a wonderful stay here. We stayed for 6 days with our two boys 5 and 7 and the hotel exceeded our expectations. It’s clean and the staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They use WhatsApp and respond very timely to answer any questions and book the free shuttle for you to and from downtown sorrento. The pool is gorgeous with stunning view of Sorrento. The hotel is perched alongside a hill that is a 10 min walk to the center of town but they offer a free shuttle and it just needs to be booked 30 min in advance. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to visit.

Everything was perfect!

Friendly helpful staff. Large room (on 5th floor) with private terrace. Location great. Walk into main town Sorrento or take the shuttle bus which runs frequently. Breakfast staff always smiling and helpful as was front desk. Lovely views from pool and breakfast area. Easy distance to port. Perfect for us. Close to everything and access to other places but not bang in the centre.

We loved this hotel! Beautiful location and views. I cannot commend the staff enough. Very accommodating. Francesca is absolutely amazing, coordinated a birthday dinner for my parents turning 50. They even set up the table with fresh flowers, birthday balloons and a complimentary cake with sparklers. We loved this hotel and the staff even more! Highly recommend!

Food could have been better

We stayed here for our honeymoon & had an amazing experience! We were treated to a bottle of Prosecco & welcoming card from the Hotel Cristina team. Our balcony room provided spectacular views of the coast. We enjoyed a delicious Margherita Pizza and Lemon Spritz drink while enjoying the view of coast and waiting for our room prior to check in. The shuttle buses run every hour and take you right to the heart of Sorrento within walking distance to everything. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for a week as a family of 4. Our rooms had fantastic views of Sorrento and the sea. Initially my husband and I thought our view wasn’t the best as our balcony looked out onto a large shared terrace. However hardly anyone was on it so it was like we had it to ourselves. The room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable. Staff were friendly and informative. The shuttle was superb!!! It went every hour to the train station which is a 2min walk from the shops etc. We could book over WhatsApp through which we always got a swift response. The rooftops pool had stunning views again along with the restaurant.

Each morning we were woken before 8am by the cleaners chatting outside of our room. We aren’t people to lie in but as the pool didn’t open until 9am we weren’t in a hurry to get up. We were on the 5th floor and not sure if this was their only storage area but it did drive us crazy. I love to sit and read by a pool earlier on before it gets too hot but the pool didn’t open until 9am and sometimes they were late too. We were lucky as it was only the last day that the schools had broken up in the UK so it got busier. As there aren’t lots of sun beds they need to stop people putting towels down and heading off for trips for the morning. As for the sun beds, please change them! For example one morning we tried 10 before finding just 1 that would recline the whole way.

Great spot. This is a great spot. We visited all the amalfi coast and did two private boat days ( highly recommended ). Port was right there, sorrento is a great spot. Has things to do and a good base for all of our adventures. So location was great. I can’t say enough about the staff. All of them were wonderful. Resturant on the 5th floor had breathtaking views, great service. For the money I don’t think we could have done better.

I can’t say anything that negative at all. This is Europe. So it is different than western hotels. Yes the shower is small. lol. But great water pressure and hot water. Really was very nice

This is a really fabulous hotel. It sits up on a hillside overlooking the Bay Of Naples, with an excellent view of Mt Vesuvius from the restaurant and from the rooftop swimming pool. Our room had a sea-view and was a good size with all the expected features, including good air-conditioning, good wi-fi and a safe. The breakfast selection was good, the bar was well stocked and the evening dinner menu was really good - as was the food itself. Don't be put off by the fact that the hotel sits on a hill, there is a regular (free) shuttle bus that takes you down to the centre of Sorrento. The rooftop pool is a good size, has great views, and there were always sunbeds available. Also, the water quality in the pool was being tested throughout the day, very reassuring! Probably the best thing about this hotel? The staff - they were amazing. Always polite, always cheerful, very attentive and they didn't put a foot wrong the whole time we were there. When we mentioned that we had to check out early on our last day, the receptionist said she would arrange for the breakfast service to start 15 minutes early so that we could eat before we left. I've never come across that before in a hotel.

There was nothing to dislike here! Perhaps our bathroom was a little small and slightly dated .... but everything worked perfectly and it was always spotlessly clean.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Cristina. Rooms were recently refurbished, spacious, comfortable and kept very clean. Stunning views from our balcony. Breakfast was very nice. We also ate either lunch or dinner at the hotel a few days. Staff were very friendly and food was nice. Special shout out to the reception staff. The WhatsApp service was one of my favourite features to use. We would also like to thank our shuttle bus drivers, we made use of this everyday and were so grateful we didn’t have to walk up the hill every night! 😂 The complimentary shuttle drops you off and collects you right at the Sorrento train station which is a few minutes walk from lots of restaurants and shops and very handy if booking your own excursions.

Beautiful Hotel with really lovely and helpful staff. Both Breakfast and Dinner food was amazing. Shuttle bus to town was super easy to book and had loads of times to choose from. Highly recommend.
