The location of the BNB is very close to the center of Pompeii and also the Basilica of Our Lady of Pompeii which was my reason for visiting. It is also close to the Pompeii Santuario Circumvesuviana train station so you don’t have to drag your luggage for a long way if you choose to arrive by Circumvesuviana Line 4. You can also use this train station if you want to go to Sorrento or Naples. The BNB is situated in a quiet location as usually Pompeii is quite nosy at night in the center and in the morning during traffic hours. But here you can definitely have a good night sleep! There was barely any noise at all, even from the nearby train station. Luca was a fantastic and very friendly host! Very patient and understanding with us. He answers any question promptly and is always ready to help. He has nice suggestions if you ask him. He is very caring and even personally serves breakfast in the morning. He is very accommodating and attentive to our personal requests. The rooms are very clean with very cold air conditioners which is important and perfect for hot summers in Italy. There are not too many rooms here which is good because it’s not crowded or noisy. I also like that the rooms have mini fridges so we could keep our drinks cold. The lighting in the room is bright and the furniture is cosy and modern. The bathrooms are very clean.

Nothing. Thank you!

It was close to everything and the price was right for a family of 5 who needed 2 rooms. Luca was a most exceptional host and was attentive to our needs. We had to drive an oversized van to accommodate our family and luggage and he has a parking privilege with Lino who runs a parking garage right down the street for the best price as well. It was most convenient and helpful! The space offers everything for your basic needs. It is not a lavish hotel or spa, so the prices is right, and it meets all of the needs of travelers wishing to see one of the most beautiful Cathedrals in the world, along with the ruins of course.

Nothing, all was provided.

Amazing stay! The Civico 29 B&B is close to everything, but also quiet. The rooms (4 in total) are inside a private, gated building, they are fully renovated, modern and well mantained. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms have a great walk-in shower. Instructions for self check-in were clear, and Luca, the b&b owner, is a super nice and helpful. He gave me great suggestions for restaurants and prepared us a yummy breakfast in the common area of the b&b. If you come without a car, this place is 12 minutes walk from the FS main station (which serves connections from Salerno and Napoli Centrale) and one block from the Pompei Santuario station on the metro line from Napoli Garibaldi. The closest entrance to the ruins is the Anfiteatro entrance, with is about 10 minutes walk.

Conveniently located near train station, restaurants, gelato, shopping and even a laundromat. We felt extremely safe and secure here, because of all the gates and passcodes. Civico 29 B&B is mod ern and clean. Luca was an amazing host, very friendly, pleasant, kind, accommodating, and above all else patient. He arranged some really great tours for us, and if the tours were early, Luca made sure to serve breakfast early. We highly recommend Luca and Civico 29 to any travellers to Pompei, and would definitely stay here on a return trip to Italy. If there were options for more stars, we would give Luca 10/5! Tc 9

Absolutely nothing!

Everything was great, really good communication from Luca before we arrived. Check-in was great and easy. The bed was really comfortable and we slept well. Location is great for visiting the Pompei cabin and for the town. Lots of nearby restaurants and close to the amazing Basilica. Luca met us for breakfast and had lovely bread, yogurt & great coffee. Luca was very helpful with guidance on buses & trains and the train station is 2 minutes walk ! Overall a fantastic experience and Luca is very hospitable and helpful. Grazie !!

.. visit was too short, until next time.

If you are going to Pompeii CIVICO 29 definitely is the place you have to stay. Very nice and very clean rooms, comfortable beds and bathrooms, wifi and your host Luca is the most helpfull person you would ever meet. He helped with parking, gave valuable info for the train and visiting the excavations in Pompeii and a lot of info about all you can experience with food in the neighborhood. And last but not least a very nice cappucino in the morning combined with a big smile, whats not to like. Also Luca is VERY responsive if you hae something to ask. Dont forget to get sandwiches at the Cremeria Valle Verde just outside your building before going to the ruins or anywhere else where decent food is not available (like your flight home), this was one of Luca's suggestions that we didn't miss. Hope to be back again sometime.

Really nothing :-)

Luca is a fantastic host! The apartment is clean, convenient, comfortable, all that you would expect. Street parking is always available (get the Easypark app!). Civico 29 is especially convenient for rail travel, as the Circumvesuviana station is maybe 100 meters away. There are dozens of good restaurants in easy walking distance, and a laundromat adjacent to the train station. We were in the "Dream" room with a balcony and a face-on view of Vesuvius. I'm guessing that Luca put us in the best room because we were staying a week. Yes, we'll return.

The downside of the Dream room is that it's next to the (noisy) breakfast area, and we are very late sleepers. We just ate and went back to bed...

This was 1 minute walk from a train station and surrounded by lovely restaurants, it was a great location. The rooms are quiet, clean, and accessed via a communal entrance to which you'll get the codes etc. prior to arrival. Breakfast 8 to 9 am each day where you'll be greeted by Gianluca. He has been the best bit of the stay. Always smiling, always obliging and a font of knowledge of the area. When we had a last minute train cancellation to Herculaneum, Luca was in hand to sort it. Not to mention, he's a pretty good footballer... All in all, a wonderful stay in Pompeii. We will definitely be back, and for Luca's hospitality alone, it's worth a stay at Civico 29.

Nothing about the accomodation.

Everything was amazing and I wish we had been able to stay longer! It's just a short 2 min walk from the train station Pompeii Santuario (there are 2 more Pompei stations but make sure you take the line for Pompeii Santuario). It's also a short walk to one of the entrances to the Pompeii ruins, make sure you get a map from reception, very helpful! Amazing renovated rooms and bathrooms with fantastic lights, automatic block out blinds to make the room darker and Luca will prepare you coffee and tea to go with a generous breakfast. He is a fantastic host, very caring of his clients! We highly recommend this accommodation!

This is a small B&B in a great central location, within walking distance of the ruins, with very safe undercover garage parking just two minutes away (arranged by Luca, the fantastic host). The B&B is exceptionally clean, and our lovely room had a charming little balcony with a table and two chairs. This meant that we weren’t confined to being indoors when in our room, and could enjoy the stunning view of Vesuvius. There was a mini fridge in the room which meant that we were able to buy food and prep our packed lunches (this was a game changer at the ruins as you can’t exit and go back in again, so your only option is the on-site cafe which looked very busy). Luca, the host, is warm and friendly and happy to help with any queries. He has a very simple remote check-in process, which made it so convenient. Breakfast included a variety of options such as cereal, croissants, yogurt, and muffins, with gluten-free choices also available. We had a late flight and Luca was able to accommodate a later check out for us, so we had a morning to do last minute souvenir shopping. We would definitely recommend CIVICO 29 for both 1-2 nights as well as a longer stay.

Nothing.
