We had a lovely 2-night stay at this beautifully renovated mansion. The photos just don;t do it justice! The spaces and decor are truly splendid and elegant, with a soft touch of coziness. The bed was very comfortable, the temperature in the room just right and the bathroom spacious, with a large shower (bigger than usual). We really enjoyed the breakfast served by the owner, with high-quality products and very good Italian coffee. We are also grateful for the parking space provided inside the gated yard. We would come back during a more warmer time, to try the enticing swimming pool or, at least, the outside chairs.

Fabulous property with beautiful garden and swimming pool and lovely v. Very comfortable bed with top quality bedding . Use of a lounge area as well as bedroom. Host Stefano very personable and friendly and even cooked dinner for us one evening . Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Nothing to dislike

We enjoyed our stay at Sosta al Capitano. Lovely rooms, refreshing pool, delicious breakfast and a host who knows his business. Thank you Stefano for the tour of the wine estate. We will think of you when we enjoy your wine at home with the whole family.

Everything was perfect - room in tuscany old style very comfortable and clean -backyard, pool and view,for completely experience -last and not least Stefano and his companion Ambo-perfect duo to make your day better. We will definetely come back

Beautiful property situated in an excellent location in a quiet area. Few minutes walk to train station from where you can easily and fast reach Florence. An attentive and kind host who gave us tips about visiting the surroundings.

Very spacious and comfortable room with a nice clean bathroom and shower. Cleaning every day, and nice breakfast. Stefano is very accommodating and flexible and even bought me some gluten free cakes when he found out I was sensitive to gluten, even though I didn’t ask him to. I also loved his cute dogs! the garden is very nice and there is a pool if you want to swim, unfortunately I didn’t have time to explore this since I was busy during my stay.

This was a beautiful, comfortable, quiet place and we highly recommend. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was great, and the breakfast delicious. We also enjoyed talking with our host, Stefano.

We liked everything.

Lovely house, nicely decorated, pool and beautiful views. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Sage parking. Up on a hill so easy to “roll down” to town and train but a bit of a hike coming back to the guest house.
